Chase tells Willow about his conversation with the judge, urging her to drop Drew and focus on the things that the judge said will help her custody case. Drew gets involved and tries to paint himself as Willow's only hope. After learning of the judge's death, Willow realizes that Chase's advice won't get her anywhere, and Drew might actually be her only shot. Elizabeth blames Michael and Carly for Willow's reunion with Drew, since she wouldn't have to resort to it if she'd gotten custody or visitation. Carly thinks that Willow should suffer the consequences of her own bad decision, but Elizabeth points out that if Michael agreed to change the custody arrangement, Willow would have no reason to be with Drew. Rocco and Danny call Sonny, who tells them to call the police about the judge's body. Anna and Dante come investigate, determining that the judge was strangled. Anna's suspicious of Sonny for basically no reason other than that he was on the scene, but Sonny mentions to Dante that it's sketchy that the body was found just across the water from Sidwell's home. Portia feels kind of liberated now that everything she's done has come out, since she doesn't have to worry anymore about hurting Curtis or their marriage. Nina tries to convince her that she hasn't completely ruined things with Trina, though Portia doubts that her daughter will ever get past her disappointment. The one thing they agree on is that as long as Drew is around, no one can really be free. Michael fills Kristina in on the judge's bribe and how it could affect the kids' custody. Sonny calls to tell him that the judge is dead, and Carly calls to report that Willow went back to Drew. Michael vows to increase his efforts to keep Drew away from his kids. Alexis and Curtis commiserate over the ways Drew has hurt them and the lines he's crossed. Though Trina is hesitant to trust Kai again, he's so firm in his change of perspective on Drew that she tells him about Portia's blackmail. They break into Drew's house in hopes of finding the evidence against her, but they're unable to get into his safe before he comes home. While they hide in a bedroom, someone else comes into the house and shoots Drew twice in the back.

Eh. He could've survived that.

Not a lot of the suspects here are the type to resort to murder. And even fewer of them have access to a gun. That should narrow the list down a lot.

The most frustrating thing about Willow now is that no one is going to be able to reason with her. She knows what Drew's done and what he's capable of. She just doesn't care. If she really believes that he's her only chance to get her kids back, she's not going to listen to anyone.

While saying that Michael and Carly are responsible for Willow returning to Drew is kind of a stretch, I can't argue with Elizabeth's logic that they could fix everything by getting a new custody arrangement.

Why would Anna, who presumably knows nothing about the bribe right now, suspect that Sonny would kill the judge who gave his son what he wanted?

Sonny should also be left off the suspect list for Drew's shooting (at least by the audience). Not only does it look like he's with Dante, but he's not thinking about Drew right now, so he would have no reason to go after him.

September 3rd, 2025

Kai finds Drew shot and at first seems to want to help, but he quickly convinces Trina that they need to get out of the house before anyone sees them. Someone's arriving outside, so Kai leaves the door slightly open to give them easy access. Tracy is the person who's arriving, wanting to talk to Drew about the Stella and Scout situations. She calls 911 and helps Anna and Dante determine what the crime scene looked like before she arrived. There's a softball bat in the room (which Kai was going to use on the shooter in case they hadn't left) and the safe is open, but nothing seems to be missing, so the police don't think it was a home invasion. The list of suspects is long, so Anna and Dante have their work cut out for them. Pascal decides that Josslyn, being a low-level operative, is expendable and threatens to kill her. Vaughn tells him that they don't know much about the WSB's investigation into the Five Poppies, or even who Brennan is reporting to. He's able to ensure Josslyn's safety, at least for now, but she wishes he hadn't shown that threatening her is a way to keep him in line. Britt comes to check on them, and Pascal catches her leaving, but she just complains that he's wasting his time kidnapping random people. She returns later and tells Josslyn and Vaughn that she can't free them, but she gives Josslyn a pair of manicure scissors so the spies can save themselves. As they're in the process of doing that, Britt calls Jason, who's on his way home. Though the connection is bad, he's able to hear her frantically telling him to come back before Pascal interrupts. Trina feels horrible for not helping Drew, but a little less horrible when Kai reveals that he was able to grab the blackmail evidence on his way out. Trina laments that since no one can know they were at the house, she won't be able to tell her parents that Portia's in the clear. Carly's worried that after Drew's total personality 180, the same thing might happen with Brennan and she'll end up heartbroken again. Brennan assures her that he's committed to their relationship and will do his best not to hurt her. Willow disappears from her shift at the hospital and returns with her hair wet from the rain outside. When Chase tells her that Drew was shot, she passes out. Portia joins Isaiah in bed for about ten seconds before she gets summoned back to the hospital. Lucas needs to start operating on Drew right away, and with whoever's going to assist him not there yet, Portia volunteers to help. Colette asks Brennan to brief her on the Five Poppies mission and send her in, since it seems clear that Josslyn and Vaughn have been compromised. It doesn't look like that's going to happen, which is good, because Vaughn has put together that Pascal's knowledge of the locked box must mean there's a mole. Chase thinks that Drew killed the judge to ensure that Willow has no other avenues to getting her kids back. Anna wonders if Chase's judgment is clouded because of his history with Willow. He can't say it isn't, but he's pretty sure that Drew is capable of murder if it means getting Willow back. Michael, Brook, and Wiley are basically filler, and just a reminder that Michael is a suspect.

Everyone's going to be mad at Tracy for not just letting Drew die.

Ugh, Kai is going to get arrested. His fingerprints are on the bat and the safe. And just when he was redeeming himself!

Congratulations to Jason, who, for once in his life, can't be implicated in a crime.

Trina should just have someone deliver the evidence to Portia or Curtis with an anonymous note saying that the person who took it isn't going to tell anyone about it.

There's no way Willow can be pregnant, right? RIGHT?

I don't get this whole Portia/Isaiah thing. After they hooked up, they looked like they wanted to get far away from each other, and now she's jumping into his bed?

September 4th, 2025

Portia definitely considers letting Drew die in surgery, but even if she were willing to go through with it, Lucas is right there. In the end, they get Drew through surgery, and Lucas gives Portia the credit for saving him. Trina reluctantly decides to burn the blackmail materials, which, as Kai points out, will destroy the connection between them and the shooting, as well as keep the police from suspecting Portia. Stella comes by and they scramble to pretend that they've been having a totally normal night rather than committing multiple crimes. When Stella learns about the shooting, she admits to Trina that she thinks Curtis did it. Tracy asks Michael and Brook to help keep Monica from finding out about Drew's shooting. When Brook leaves to conspire with Yuri about that, Tracy reveals that she saw Michael down the street on her way to Drew's. She doesn't want to know if he did anything, so she won't have to keep anything from the police, but she advises him to establish an alibi. He might actually have one, since he was apparently chatting with a woman at the Grille, but he can't find a witness and doesn't know the woman's name. Chase tries to get Brook and Tracy to help him put together a timeline of Michael's activities over the evening, but Brook really doesn't want to get involved if it means accidentally incriminating her cousin. Willow's suspicious of Nina's early knowledge of Drew's shooting, and even more suspicious when Nina tells Anna and Chase that they were together when it happened. Willow thinks Nina's trying to get an alibi for herself, but Nina says it was for Willow's benefit. Martin breaks attorney/client privilege to tell Lulu that Drew abused his power to go after Stella. Lulu agrees to look into that, but she doubts that doing so will help Stella. Martin figures that if she makes Drew look bad enough, the fraud investigators might question whether he fabricated something to hurt Stella, and the whole thing could get dropped. Dante goes to question Alexis about Drew's shooting, but she won't talk to him without a lawyer present. She tells Ava and Kristina that she was with Ric all night, something she obviously can't prove or say anything to the police about. She enlists the two of them to be her alibis, knowing that Dante would never think that Kristina's lying to him and that Ava would never be suspected of helping Alexis if she were lying. Anna calls Kai to get insight on who might have shot Drew, and he manages to play it cool enough that she doesn't suspect him of anything. Curtis tells Jordan that his marriage seems to be over, and also, Portia thinks she was his rebound from Jordan, and I'm not sure why he feels the need to go over this right now when so much other stuff is going on.

Dear all of the suspects: Do none of you know how to pretend to be surprised by shocking news? Kai did a great job with it and he's one of the few people who can't possibly be the shooter.

"Destroying evidence is a crime." You've already committed, like, five other crimes tonight. Might as well add another.

Kai, maybe drop your key to Drew's house down a storm drain and pretend you lost it.

I can't stop giggling over the fact that Alexis' alibi is the guy tied up in her basement.

September 5th, 2025

Josslyn and Vaughn are sooooo going to make out once they're no longer captives. Pascal plans to kill them in a way that makes it look like they died in a boating accident, but then he suddenly says that someone has decided that they're still useful, so they get a stay of execution. Brennan's so sick of Colette that he's arranged to have her transferred to Algeria. She attempts to get into the locked box before she leaves, but the code Josslyn provided is wrong. Brennan catches her red-handed and tells her that instead of Algeria, she'll be going to a black site. Flashbacks let us know that Michael has an alibi for Drew's shooting, but there's a major complication: It's Jacinda. Molly tries to help Alexis get Drew's restraining order against her dropped so she can take in Scout, but it doesn't work out. It's probably for the best, since, as Kristina points out, they can't risk her wandering into the basement and finding Ric. Since Drew named Willow the person he wants caring for Scout in the event he can't do it himself, she's called up for duty. Alexis isn't happy about that, not least because Willow doesn't even have custody of her own kids, but there's nothing she can do about it right now. Elizabeth invites both Willow and Scout to stay with her, which might ease Alexis' worries a little. But then there are more worries, because Scout has disappeared from camp. Portia and Nina dance around the fact that they were ranting about Drew just before he was almost killed, but neither comes right out and accuses the other of shooting him. Nina continues claiming that she and Willow were together at the time, which Portia totally doesn't buy. Lulu comes in while they're talking, wanting to ask Portia about Stella's situation, but she doesn't seem suspicious to see them together. Their next visitor is Jacinda, who's hoping that her old "friends" are feeling generous and will give her some money. Jason returns to the Five Poppies and almost immediately gets killed by a hitman. Once he's dealt with the body, he snoops in Britt's room and finds a note from her directing him to her lab. Diane expects to find herself defending someone from the Corinthos contingent against attempted-murder charges, but Sonny's less interested in that than in finding out more about Judge Heron and her bribe. He wants information on Sidwell, which Diane can't provide him with, since Sidwell is also her client. She warns Sonny to act quickly on whatever he's going to do, because it's only a matter of time before he and Michael become suspects in the bribery. Anna's spending more time bugging Brennan about the Five Poppies mission than investigating the recent murder and attempted murder in her town. Brennan keeps dismissing her, but he does take the opportunity to casually give Carly an alibi for Drew's shooting.

Pascal's 180 on killing Josslyn and Vaughn because someone decided that they're still useful supports my theory that Jerry is behind all this – he would absolutely forbid Pascal from killing his niece.

I don't get why Colette didn't try to get into the locked box before now.

I was just wondering what happened to Jacinda. If she hadn't been at the Grille before Michael got there, I would have suspected that Drew pointed her in his direction and then had someone take pictures of them together to make it look like they're friends, which he could spin into the claim that Michael had Jacinda drug him.

The last time Scout disappeared from camp, she went to the Quartermaines', so that's obviously the first place they should look. I assume it's why Cody is calling and texting Molly 911.

I can't imagine that Scout would be turned over to Child Protective Services if Willow declined to look after her. Lucas could take her.

September 8th, 2025

Pascal wants to use Josslyn and Vaughn as test subjects for Dalton's research, which has up until now had unfortunate complications involving radiation. The agents try to get a minion to turn on Pascal and help them escape, but that doesn't work out. Pascal has fitted Britt with an exploding ankle monitor, which Jason thinks he might be able to remove, but first he's going to try to save Josslyn and Vaughn. While he's taking on their guards, Pascal informs Britt that they're moving to a new location, but she'll be staying behind, and oh, her new accessory is going to explode in an hour. Desperate to salvage the Five Poppies mission, Brennan turns to Valentin. Valentin reveals that Colette has been a double agent for about ten years, since she worked for Faison. In exchange for an in-person visit with Charlotte, Valentin will tell Brennan who took over Faison's research. Scout is, as expected, at the Quartermaines', and she got there with help from Charlotte. Lulu isn't happy about that, but Charlotte has no regrets, since she can understand what Scout's going through. She also thinks she's more mature and self-sufficient than she is, and Lulu wants her to understand that she was deprived of a childhood in some ways and needs to let go of the idea that she can't rely on anyone for help. Molly and Cody try to explain things to Scout in an age-appropriate way, and without trashing Drew. Still, Scout isn't happy that her father thinks that keeping her from a bunch of her family is what's best for her. Cody's way of explaining things to Scout endears him to Molly a little, but she still doesn't like that whole seduced-Ava-for-money thing, so she shuts down any thoughts of them being friends. Anna, Dante, and Chase go over the facts of Drew's shooting and review their suspects and people of interest. They agree that Sonny probably wasn't involved, and though they think that Tracy is innocent, they suspect that she could have tried to cover up for someone else. Ava and Kristina get access to Ric's phone and realize that they need to send some texts and emails on his behalf so people won't notice that he's out of touch. The two of them and Alexis come up with something believable to send Molly, but Alexis thinks that Willow and Elizabeth will be tougher.

It would be awesome if Josslyn ended up saving Jason instead of the other way around.

"Yeah, Josslyn Jacks is here and she's in serious trouble," Britt says casually half an hour into the episode.

That's two Victor references now. He's my second guess for the Big Bad.

LOL at Kristina changing Ric's password to 666666.

September 9th, 2025

Jason, Josslyn, and Vaughn fight off some bad guys, and then Jason goes to help Britt while Vaughn and Josslyn call for WSB backup. Jason manages to remove Britt's bomb, and after another encounter with bad guys, during which Vaughn gets to be the hero, everyone makes a run for it. Pascal gets away, but the good guys all survive when the bomb goes off, so we'll call this mission a success. Drew tells Dante what he remembers of his shooting, which isn't anything that the police can use. Though Drew says that Michael is his pain suspect, he thinks it was Curtis, who likely went to his house to steal his blackmail material. Michael gets Jacinda's name from Curtis and is able to get in touch with her. Just as he's broaching the subject of her providing him with an alibi, Dante tracks him down with questions about his whereabouts at the time of Drew's shooting. Brennan brings up to Lulu the idea of Charlotte going to visit Valentin, and she immediately shuts him down. He warns that because of Valentin's role in the world of espionage, Charlotte is of interest to a lot of people, and one day, Lulu might need Brennan's help. Portia won't give Jacinda any hush money, and she actually has a good reason not to give in to blackmail: If Jacinda rats out her and Nina, she'll have to admit to assault. It's better for her to just continue keeping quiet and leave town. Alexis submits to questioning by Anna and Chase, mostly telling the truth until it comes to the details of Ava and Kristina's visit. Anna and Chase find her story about trying to place peacemaker with them a little incredulous, but Anna admits that it's so ridiculous, it might just be true. Charlotte vents to Rocco about all the independence she's lost since moving back to Port Charles. She also doesn't like Brennan because of how he got away with everything he and Valentin did and is painted as a hero while Valentin was branded a villain.

There better be more to come with the Five Poppies stuff, because that was really anti-climactic.

I like Josslyn's attitude: "Yes, there were some hiccups in my first field mission, but did we die? No, we did not. That means I'm good at my job."

Brennan's going to go to all sorts of trouble to arrange a visit between Valentin and Charlotte, and two minutes later, Britt's going to show up with answers to all of his questions.

That said, Brennan isn't trying very hard. He didn't give Lulu any incentive to okay a visit. He's going to have to tell her something about what's going on, or at least say that lives are at stake.

Did I miss something with the Jacinda stuff? Why would Drew want to silence her? Why wouldn't he pay her to expose Portia and Nina?

Dante, if you can't find your brother, who you live with, maybe you're not that great a detective.

September 10th, 2025

Trina's worried that Drew saw or heard her and Kai at his house, so Kai decides to go visit him and feel him out. Drew seems to buy that Kai is still a loyal employee, as evidenced by his request that Kai bring him some stuff from his safe. Kai shuts him down, since his house is a crime scene and there's no way the police will let him take anything. Willow panics when she learns that Ric is "out of town" and decides that going back to Drew is still her best option, not least because she can't afford a lawyer on her own. That said, she's been avoiding him and only goes to see him when Kai says he asked for her. Anna and Dante question Michael, who appears to tell the truth about everything except the fact that he stopped by Drew's house before he went home from the Grille. Marco serves as his lawyer, and Diane would be proud of how he shuts down unnecessary questions. Afterward, Anna and Dante agree that Michael's alibi sounds reasonable, but it's possible that he's paying Jacinda to corroborate it, which means he can't be dismissed as a suspect. Lulu talks over the Valentin-visitation issue with Carly, who thinks she would be wise to allow it so Charlotte isn't completely cut off from her father. Lulu is concerned that it'll bring up issues that Charlotte has struggled to get past. Also, she's guessed that Brennan is trying to honor a deal because he needs something from Valentin, which isn't Lulu's problem. Brennan's plan B is to ask Nina to convince Lulu to let Charlotte visit Valentin. In addition to knowing that Lulu won't listen to her, Nina doesn't think that's in Charlotte's best interest. Brennan notes that Nina and Willow could be facing legal troubles because of their flimsy alibis for Drew's shooting, and he tells Nina that if she helps him out now, the WSB will have her and Willow's backs later. Curtis doesn't take the bait when Drew all but accuses him of being the shooter. Chase asks Curtis to answer some questions, and when Curtis refuses without a lawyer, Chase's suspicions are piqued. Trina confides in Emma that her parents are having issues because of something illegal her mother did for her. Emma thinks Portia's actions were reasonable and reminds Trina that she's not responsible for her parents' happiness. Portia tells Isaiah that, as much as she enjoyed having sex with him, it's not going to happen again, since her life is too complicated right now. He easily accepts that and promises not to tell anyone what happened. Elizabeth tells Lucas that she heard Carly threatening to kill Drew not too long before he was shot. Lucas laughs that off, but Elizabeth warns that if she's questioned by the police, she'll bring it up. She's not as convinced as Lucas is that Carly didn't act on her emotions.

There aren't enough lawyers in town to go around for all the suspects.

Kai is smart to play innocent with Drew. I expected him to just quit and try to stay as far away as possible from Drew.

I guess we should give Brennan a tiny bit of credit for not approaching Charlotte or, like, giving her a plane ticket.

I had to laugh at Lucas brushing off the fact that Carly threatened to kill Drew. Elizabeth should know as well as he does that that means nothing.

September 11th, 2025

Dante goes to Jacinda's hotel room to question her, and in an amazing coincidence, Michael happens to be there, getting out of the shower. Jacinda dutifully gives him an alibi, but Dante doesn't believe a word of it. He chastises his brother for paying a sex worker to lie for him and setting it up to make like they've hooked up, two things Michael wouldn't normally do. Michael makes a good point that he also wouldn't normally shoot someone. Nina encourages Lulu to okay Charlotte's visit with Valentin to head off any problems that could arise if Brennan decides to talk to Charlotte himself. Lulu might actually be considering it. Like Lucas, Carly brushes off her threat against Drew, swearing that she didn't carry it out. She blasts Drew for being horrible and Willow for going back to him, but Drew thinks she should keep her focus on Michael, who he's sure will soon be arrested for the shooting. Alone with Willow, Drew says that even if Michael didn't shoot him, he'll keep pointing the police toward him, even if it means lying to get him arrested. Willow doesn't seem to have a problem with that. Curtis doesn't have an alibi for the time of Drew's shooting – he was alone in his office at the Savoy – and that combined with his history in law enforcement, which means he knows how to cover his tracks, makes Anna put him at the top of the suspect list. Curtis doesn't seem worried, and he tells Portia that she shouldn't be, either, since she never came up during the conversation. Since Drew is the reason for his and Portia's marriage issues, Curtis wants to downplay it by pretending that everything's fine with them. Britt claims not to know who Pascal was answering to, which Jason doesn't buy. She also claims that she wants nothing to do with Jason once they're back in Port Charles (though she will take all the money in his wallet as a loan). He warns that the WSB will have a lot of questions, but she plans to stonewall. Rocco and Charlotte run into Obrecht, and Rocco asks Charlotte not to say anything to Lulu. A contrivance with Outback leads to Rocco needing stitches, so Rocco, Dante, Lulu, Nina, and Obrecht all end up at the hospital at the same time. That allows the adults to be some of the first people to learn that Britt is alive. Lucas admits to Elizabeth that he hopes Drew's shooter is never found, since this is the sort of thing they should get away with. Elizabeth still intends to tell the police about Carly's threat against Drew, but Carly saves her the trouble by telling Anna herself. She claims that she was with Brennan the whole night, but Anna knows better than to believe anything he says or any so-called evidence he might produce. Trina is relieved to hear that Portia has a que sera sera attitude about Drew's blackmail, so if there's more evidence out there, neither of them is going to worry about it.

Michael's going to regret this. The second Drew learns that Jacinda is his alibi, he's going to tell whoever the next judge is that Michael's hanging around with a sex worker.

"He has a long history of manslaughter." Okay, Drew. Keep rewriting history, buddy.

Returning to your old hometown after being presumed dead for years and just walking into your former workplace without warning is certainly a bold choice.

That was a brilliant move by Carly. Not only can Drew not hold her threat over her head, but it may have slightly endeared her to Anna. Of course, fighting with her about Brennan's trustworthiness basically undid that.

September 12th, 2025

Obrecht is beyond happy to see Britt, and she has a lot of questions about what happened after Heather's attack. Nina thinks Britt should be allowed to take her time before getting into all of that, but Obrecht insists. Britt reveals that she was approached with a research offer and had assistance faking her death so she could leave town. Suddenly Obrecht isn't so happy that her daughter is back, and there's a slap. Dante and Lulu basically kick Britt out of the hospital to make sure she and Rocco don't cross paths. Once they're home, they tell Rocco and Charlotte that Britt is alive and they're not sure where things will go from here. Josslyn and Vaughn fled Croatia for Australia in order to shore up her cover story (and have some romantic time alone) before they go back to Port Charles. Brennan busts them and tears into them for screwing up the Five Poppies mission, having to be saved by Jason, and coming out of all of this with nothing. Jason rushes Carly out of Anna's office so he can confront Anna for sending him to Croatia without telling him that Josslyn was there or that she's in the WSB. He's furious about the latter, but Anna points out that Josslyn is an adult and gets to make her own decisions, even though she's pretty sure that Josslyn was manipulated into making this one. She also points out that Jason, like her, gets how hard it is to resist when someone approaches you with a dangerous job opportunity while you're vulnerable. Jason's like, "Don't compare Sonny to the WSB. Also, if you want answers about Croatia, ask Brennan." It turns out that Kai and Trina weren't the only people at Drew's house the night of his shooting – Brick was there earlier, planting fake evidence making it look like he was the one who bribed Heron. His and Sonny's (and maybe Carly's) next project is figuring out how to protect Michael from being accused of shooting Drew. Dalton seems poised to bring Emma into his inner circle, but a phone call about a shipment distracts him. Emma thinks he's receiving more test subjects and she's just steps away from busting him. Gio brings her mood down by telling her that Outback is missing. Elizabeth tells an incredulous Lucas that Britt is alive, and he almost immediately thinks to call Brad. Elizabeth talks him out of it, not wanting him to get drawn back into Brad's drama, especially when he's so happy with Marco.

I don't get why so many viewers like Britt. She wasn't back for five minutes before she was obnoxious about Rocco. I'm already tired of her.

So Josslyn and Vaughn are, like, together now? Okay.

Wow, Brennan is dumb for walking into a room containing two spies without knocking. But Josslyn and Vaughn are also dumb for not locking the door.

Oh, all of a sudden, Anna respects Josslyn's right to make her own decisions?

I assume Sonny and Brick are making it look like Drew framed Sonny, because obviously he wouldn't bribe Heron to rule in Michael's favor, and if he bribed her and she didn't do what he asked, he would have taken the money back.

If Emma follows Dalton, she will have made more progress in one day than Brennan, Josslyn, and Vaughn have made in months.

I have to say, I really admire Elizabeth's committment to trying to keep Brad and Lucas apart.

I'm skeptical of Elizabeth's theory that Brad helped Britt fake her death (which she probably only suggested so Lucas will see him as a bad guy), but you know who might have done it? Selina. She was providing Britt with documents so she could disappear...

September 15th, 2025

Obrecht is furious that Britt would disrespect her by faking her death, but Britt blames Obrecht for making her the person she grew up to be. Obrecht thinks that Britt only came back because she needs money, which she orders Nina not to give her. Nina tries to play peacemaker, but there's not much she can do. Drew rehires Martin, agreeing to his condition of getting the fraud investigators to drop their case against Stella. Drew's first task for Martin is to file an injunction keeping the police from looking at the contents of his safe. But Chase has already searched it and found the fake evidence Brick planted: a receipt showing that Drew transferred $1 million to Heron. He and Anna agree that this could prove that Drew killed Heron, though Turner isn't as convinced. She goes to question Drew, who assumes she's found his Portia blackmail documents and is surprised to hear different. Anna's concerned that Chase is a little too determined to take down Drew because of his history with Willow. Then she starts thinking that Willow found out about the bribe (which would have left Willow with no one to turn to but Drew) and was mad enough to shoot Drew. Brennan reminds Vaughn and Josslyn that agents aren't allowed to date, so the second they leave Australia, they have to split up. But he can't be that mad, because he promotes Vaughn to Colette's job and tells him and Josslyn to focus their investigation on Dalton again. He figures that Jason has already told Carly that he recruited Josslyn, but Josslyn correctly guesses that Jason isn't going to say anything. That plus the news that Britt is on the outs with Pascal makes Brennan optimistic that he can continue the case and finally make some progress. One mystery is solved: Sidwell killed Heron because she didn't keep her cool after talking to Chase. He more or less blames Marco for it, since he went rogue and told Drew about the bribe, and he makes it clear that Marco won't be happy if he commits another act of betrayal. Marco tries to make up for that by breaking attorney/client privilege to report that Michael has a flimsy alibi for Drew's shooting. Carly bugs Jason about where he was and why he went to talk to Anna, so Sonny's like, "You found Britt, right?" Now Carly's ticked that Jason didn't tell her that he thought Britt was alive. But as far as she knows, that's the only secret he's been keeping from her, so for now, it's not a big deal. The three of them and Brick discuss protecting Michael from accusations of shooting Drew, apparently thinking they have any power in that area.

I can't believe I feel sorry for Obrecht about something, but Britt went way too far faking her death in front of her mother, especially since Obrecht had already lost a child (or so she believes). The good news is that as long as Nathan had nothing to do with his own faked death, he'll get a much warmer welcome.

Get that money upfront, Martin. Chances are you'll want to quit again sooner rather than later.

Instead of yelling at Vaughn and Josslyn, Brennan should have gone straight home to question Britt and keep her from outing Josslyn as a WSB agent. His priorities are all screwed up.

"Why didn't you tell me this thing that has nothing to do with me?" Carly, go away.

I'm surprised Jason didn't tell Sonny that Josslyn is a WSB agent. I assume he wants to talk to her about it before he tells anyone anything.

Sonny's multiple mentions of Heron's body turning up right across the water from Wyndemere raises a good point: Why didn't Sidwell do a better job of disposing of her body? Or is he hoping the police will think that Sonny killed her and is trying to frame him?

September 16th, 2025

Thanks to some scheming from Ava, Willow finds out that Nina has been paying her "pro bono" lawyer and confronts her. Nina tries to get through to Willow that Drew is controlling her, but Willow blames Nina for that, since she let things go so far. She assumes that Nina also told Ric to try to keep her from having contact with Drew before the visitation hearing. Nina blasts Willow for constantly insisting that Drew is a good person when he's not. Willow reveals that she's only back with him because it could get her back her kids. There's more fighting, and then Willow threatens to take everything from Nina as revenge for Nina making her lose everything. Lulu looks poised to yell at Brook some more about leading Rocco to the Britt revelation, but now that Britt's back, she's realized that it was only a matter of time before Rocco found out the circumstance of his birth. She confides that she kind of wants Britt to be awful to Rocco so he'll stay away from her, but she doesn't want him to get hurt. Britt is annoying to Jason, then asks him for intel on Rocco, then is annoying again. For some reason, he puts up with her and even offers to find her a place to stay for the night. Emma and Gio haven't made any progress finding Outback, so he considers asking Sonny to put up money for a reward. Emma suggests asking Tracy instead, but Gio doesn't like that she only started treating him well after she found out he was family, while Sonny has always been good to him. Someone finds Outback's collar, which makes Emma even more emotional about the missing dog. Gio comes pretty close to kissing her to comfort her, but it doesn't happen. Emma will be happy to know that Outback is safe and sound at the Quartermaines' stables, where she's just stolen Cody's dinner. Ava tells Kristina that she sent Nina an invoice from Ric and BCC'd Willow to clue her in about what Nina's been up to behind her back. Kristina loves that but notes that Ava and Nina are friends. I guess Ava would rather have Ric's money than one of her only allies. Lucas tells Ava about Britt's big return and continues wondering whether Brad knew that she was alive. If he says he didn't, Lucas won't be able to believe him. He's worried that the times Brad came to him for comfort over the past couple of years were for a manufactured reason. Ava predicts that now that Britt is back, Brad will pop up in town pretty soon. Kristina hopes that she didn't screw up anything Molly and Cody might have had developing, but Cody plans to respect Molly's wishes to leave her alone. Kristina can see that he likes her, though. Molly's not sure that a digital detox is something Ric would do, but Elizabeth buys it, which makes her feel a little better about it. She tells Elizabeth about Kristina's machinations with Cody and Ava, and how she's glad that Ric and Ava are done because Elizabeth is a much better fit for him. Elizabeth says they won't be getting back together, but...I mean, it's Elizabeth. We've heard that before. James feels responsible for Maxie's condition, thinking he stressed her into heart problems, but Cody and Felicia are able to make him feel better.

What, exactly, does Willow plan to take from Nina? Nina doesn't really have anything, other than Crimson, which we never hear about.

Now Scout is nine? Does anyone know anyone's age around here? Also, if Willow's at Nina's and Elizabeth is out with Molly, who's with Scout?

I assume Kristina's next plot will be an attempt to Parent Trap Cody and Molly together.

Let's never let James find out that, actually, he is partly responsible for Maxie's condition.

I can see Cody being resentful of Nathan when James starts gravitating toward him, so I hope he quickly realizes that Nathan is awesome and won't be a threat to his relationship with James.

September 17th, 2025

Willow takes Scout to the Quartermaines' so she can see Monica before her first day of school. Wiley's there, and Michael and Tracy have to bite their tongues in his presence so no one gets upset. Michael's unhappy with Willow's surprise appearance and attitude that it's not a big deal for her to be there, and he calls her an unfit mother. She tells him that when (not if) Drew proves that Michael's the one who shot him, she'll make sure he never sees the kids again. Tracy summons Jason to the mansion to admit that she saw Michael leaving Drew's neighborhood right after his shooting. She promises that she won't tell the police anything, but she thinks it's time that they broke the news about the shooting to Monica. Jason agrees to do it, but when he goes to talk to her, he finds her dead. Kai wants to keep his distance from Trina in case he becomes a suspect in Drew's shooting and their association gets her in trouble. Plus, since they broke up, they don't have a reason to communicate. Trina says that they can pretend they're working things out...and since Kai is making up for what he did that led to their breakup, maybe they'll work things out for real. They worry that they forgot about something that could lead the police to suspect them, and an overview of what happened the night of the shooting helps them remember that Kai's fingerprints are on the softball bat. Jason put Britt up for the night in his room above Bobbie's, and when she gets locked out, she throws a tantrum about her living conditions, instead of being grateful that he didn't leave her homeless, cashless butt on the docks. Carly and Britt immediately get catty with each other, and Britt smirks about Carly thinking that she and Jason have total trust, since she knows that Jason's keeping the secret about Josslyn being in the WSB. Chase is almost 100 percent sure that Drew killed Heron, and he thinks that telling Willow would get her to turn on Drew for good. He knows he can't do that, though, and Brook warns him not to risk his career over something he's not sure will even work. Josslyn worries that Britt will expose her as a WSB agent and she'll end up getting transferred somewhere else. Vaughn thinks that might be good, since they won't have to be around each other while unable to be together. Dante complains to Cody that Jason didn't consider his or Lulu's feelings before bringing Britt back to town (or something to that effect). Cody's like, "It's great that that's how I found out the woman I once had feelings for isn't dead; I really appreciate it." Carly confides to Jason that she thinks Michael might have shot Drew. He promises to do whatever he can to keep Michael from being sent back to prison.

Try not to think about how Jason didn't get to see his father before he died, either.

I'm so sick of Willow's whining and entitlement. All she had to do was call to let someone know she was bringing Scout over. Or she could have asked Elizabeth to do it.

Speaking of entitled, shut up, Britt.

This was Carly's chance to be the bigger person, but why would she ever do that?

Vaughn and Josslyn are spies. They can't at least try to sneak around? Does Brennan think they won't?

Yeah, how dare Jason not think about Rocco before rescuing Britt! Stuff it, Dante.

Cody telling Outback to hide because the cops (well, Dante) were there, her running off, and him saying he didn't think that would work was really cute.

September 18th, 2025

Jason and Tracy take care of all the administrative stuff that comes with a person's death as they try to imagine what life will be like with Monica gone. Jason confides that, while he's never really thought much about the memories he's lost, he does wish that he remembered having Monica as a mother when he was younger. Tracy assures him that she loved him completely and was thrilled that he'd moved back home. Britt has to submit to a waiting room, a sassy Elizabeth, and an exam from Lucas before she can get the medications she needs to replace the experimental drug she's been taking for the past couple of years. Lucas notes that she seems totally healthy, and warns that the medications will be really expensive. Britt goes to Portia and Terry to ask for a job, but since she no longer has a medical license and technically committed medical fraud in the process of faking her death, they're hesitant to welcome her back (though Portia is less hesitant, probably because she knows how steep the consequences can be for doing something ill-advised). Ultimately, they decide to hire her, but she'll have to do patient intake in the ER. Lulu tells Charlotte about Brennan's offer to arrange a visit with Valentin, likely because Brennan wants something from him. Charlotte is uncertain about seeing her father in prison, but Lulu promises to go with her and give her any support she needs. Molly apologizes to Cody for telling Elizabeth what he and Kristina did, because Molly has never done anything wrong in her life and doesn't get that this isn't the sort of thing you need to beat yourself up over. Cody lets her off the hook, partly because she didn't say anything about him that wasn't true and partly because his biggest concern right now is keeping the Quartermaines from finding out that he has Outback at the stables. Molly thinks he should go easier on himself and not automatically think that he'll be harshly punished for taking in a stray. Gio asks Sonny for $10,000 as a reward for Outback's return. Sonny agrees and invites Gio to stick around for a family cookout. He knows Gio doesn't want to spend time with his biological parents, but the more they're around each other, the easier things will be. Kristina says something similar to Dante when she sees how awkward he is with his son. Dante doesn't think that surface-level conversations will help his and Rocco's relationship, since there's so much going on there, but Kristina encourages him to start small.

It's weird seeing Jason and Tracy hug and be nice to each other.

Port Charles has a sheriff and a police commissioner? Isn't that excessive?

Gee, Britt, I don't know why the person you've never once been nice to isn't showing you special treatment. It's a mystery.

Yeah, I think they might be going down the road of having it turn out that Britt was misdiagnosed.

I didn't think Molly and Cody had much in common, but today we learned one thing they do share: a tendency to overthink things.

Was Avery not invited to the big family cookout? Is Avery the new Kristina?

September 19th, 2025

Jason breaks the news of Monica's death to Michael, expressing regret that he kept Michael from the Quartermaines when he was a child. Michael is grateful that he got to know his grandmother when he was a teenager, and the good relationship they developed after that made up for Jason and Carly's decisions. Tracy tells Ned and Brook that Monica died, and they immediately ensure that she knows they love her. Ned acknowledges that the family doesn't express emotions very freely, which they should work on since this proves that they don't know how much time they have left with each other. As the family moves toward making decisions about arrangements, Tracy announces that everything should now be Michael's. Lulu comes across a car crash and gets the unconscious driver medical attention. Chase questions her at the scene, but neither of them has any information about who the driver is or how the crash happened. When the driver is taken to the hospital, one question gets answered when Lucas recognizes him, followed by Anna and Dante: He looks exactly like, and possibly is, Nathan. Molly learns that someone's looking for Outback, but she can't convince Cody to call the owner (whose name isn't listed on the missing-dog flier). He tries to make up excuses not to give up the dog, wanting to keep her for himself. When Gio comes by, following a tip about a dog spotted on the Quartermaines' property, Cody discovers that Charlotte and Rocco are the owners and haven't been neglecting their pet. Cody gives Outback back (...heh) and declines the $10,000 reward, telling Gio to donate it instead. He says that if he hadn't gone through with doing the right thing, Molly would have stepped in for him, but she thinks he did it himself because he's a better person than he believes himself to be. Gio happily shares Outback's return with Emma, and this time, they follow through with the kiss. Danny pleads with Drew to let him see Scout so he doesn't have to use the loophole of his not-yet-served restraining order to do it without permission. Drew says straight out that because of Jason's influence, Danny isn't trustworthy, so he gets to endure a punishment based on his father's actions. Danny tells Drew that Sam would hate the way he's treating them. Drew starts complaining to Elizabeth about his nephew's attitude, but she shuts him down with the news that Monica died. Anna and Dante give Laura an update on the Heron investigation, telling her about the receipt found in Drew's safe. Since there's no way to know whose account initiated the transfer, they can't say for sure that Drew was behind it; it's possible that he got his hands on proof that someone else bribed Heron. Laura notes that anyone with a stake in Michael and Willow's custody battle could have been responsible for it. Poor Danny hears about Monica's death while Elizabeth is telling Jake over the phone, and he goes straight home to sit with Jason in grief. Charlotte encourages Rocco to talk to Lulu about getting to know Britt, since Lulu has come around on facilitating a relationship between Charlotte and Valentin. But Rocco confides that, while he felt okay asking questions about Britt when he believed she was dead, her return makes him reconsider learning more about her.

If we hadn't known that Ryan Paevey was returning in this episode, I don't think anyone would have known that was him in the last scene. His face was half covered.

I appreciate Chase putting his anger at Lulu aside to make sure she was okay at the accident site. Maybe her and Brook's ceasefire extends to him.

If Molly wasn't already hot for Cody, his suggestion of donating the reward to an animal charity would have sealed the deal. And in addition to inadvertently charming her, Cody inadvertently helped Gio look like a hero.

Maybe Monica's death will make Drew regret some things and his heart will grow three sizes. ...Yeah, probably not.

September 22nd, 2025

Anna guesses that the fact that Nathan and Britt have returned from the dead within days of each other can't be a coincidence, and it's probably related to who their parents are. A DNA test is run, and though the results haven't come back yet, his fingerprints are a match for Nathan's. He's still unconscious, so no one knows where he's been or what's going on, and until they do, Anna wants him listed as a John Doe, with just a small number of people aware of who he is. Rocco has an awkward but amiable first meeting with Britt, though he admits to Lulu that the whole situation is a little overwhelming. Britt is pleased to see that someone sent her her medication, but she's shaken by the note that accompanies it, signed by the initial C. Lulu comes by to preemptively make peace and approve of Britt and Rocco getting to know each other, within limits, but Britt totally ruins it by insisting that she's more of a mother to "Ben" than Lulu is, simply because she gave birth to him. Lulu does a complete 180 and orders Britt to stay away from Rocco. Brook accidentally interrupts Gio and Emma's makeout session and tells them and Cody about Monica. When she learns that Cody wanted to keep Outback but was told he couldn't have a pet, she overrides whoever made that decision. With Rocco's permission, Outback gets a new home with Cody, which means Emma will be coming by to visit, and Gio will likely be tagging along. Tracy and Lucy have a surprisingly peaceful conversation about Monica, setting aside their past problems both with her and each other to honor her. Molly confides to Alexis that she may have feelings for Cody. Alexis is like, "Yeah, we were all waiting for you to realize that." Molly's hesitant to pursue anything, since there are so many things about Cody that bug her, but Alexis urges her to start slow and see where things go. Michael tells Sonny and Carly about Monica's death, and they get way too much screentime talking about it.

If I were Anna, I would be racing to ensure that Faison's third child isn't also alive.

Speaking of Faison, if that "C" in Britt's note stands for Cesar, I will burn this house down.

Lulu, I'm going to grant you a free pass for one (1) consequence-free smack to Britt's face.

I'd forgotten that Rocco lives at the Quartermaines' part-time, and I thought Brook was going to ruin her and Lulu's truce by stealing his dog for Cody.

How about, instead of scenes with Michael, Carly, and Sonny, we get scenes of Michael with the Quartermaines? Imagine that!

September 23rd, 2025

Anna tells Nina that a John Doe showed up in town looking like Nathan, and his fingerprints and DNA are a match. Nina denies that he's alive, and she guesses that Faison is somehow connected to whatever's happening. Anna takes her to see Nathan, and though Nina remains in denial even after seeing him, she sits with him for a while. When he wakes up, he looks at her in a way that indicates that he knows who she is. Stella goes back to work, as well as what she does best: Telling people things they need to hear. For starters, she urges Felicia to take the time she needs to deal with what's happening to Maxie. Felicia will probably need more friendly advice soon, because no one told her about Nathan's return, so she's stunned when she sees him. Anna fills her in but doesn't have any answers about what's going on. Felicia worries about how James will be affected even if the John Doe doesn't turn out to really be Nathan. It doesn't help that Maxie, the only person who would be able to know for sure, isn't in a position to confirm Nathan's identity. Marshall's in town, and his top priority is making sure that Curtis doesn't get charged with Drew's shooting. Curtis doesn't want to discuss that in front of Trina, but Portia doubts that the police have enough evidence to pin anything on Curtis. That makes it really bad timing when Dante comes by to confirm Curtis' statement about the night of the shooting. This is how Portia learns that he went to see Jordan, which is the last straw for her in their marriage, as if she wasn't in the actual bed of another man at the same time. Britt finally gets knocked down a peg when her snark toward Jason is met with the news that Monica died. She feels bad that he was with her during Monica's last days, but Jason says that he was where he needed to be, and Monica would have been proud of him for helping Britt and Josslyn. He confides that moving back into the mansion benefited him as much as it did Danny, since it gave him time with Monica that he wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Lulu spends some time talking about Monica with Ned, Michael, and Brook before they realize that Tracy has packed a bag and taken off. They're worried that she'll skip the funeral and will later regret not getting to say goodbye. Lulu thinks she's figured out where Tracy went, and Ned calls someone to help them track her down. Jordan advises Drew to use Monica's death as an opportunity to be a better person for Scout. Instead, Drew decides that Tracy, Michael, and the rest of the family turned Monica against him, and he tells Martin that he's not going to let them cut him out of her will. Stella figures out really quickly that Martin is representing Drew again as part of a deal to get the fraud investigation dropped. She's worried that he's setting himself up for something horrible, but Martin is confident that he can determine when to get out, if necessary. Jordan assures Stella that it's unlikely that Curtis shot Drew, considering how much he would stand to lose.

I like how Nina never fully shifted over to calling Nathan by that name. I love little details like siblings having names for each other that no one else uses. They make characters feel like a real family.

So Nina didn't believe that Nathan was alive, but she was willing to accept that Faison was?

Hey, Curtis, ask Portia where she was the night Drew was shot.

I'm resigned to accept that Britt is back on the show, but does she have to be on every day?

September 24th, 2025

Nina can tell right away that Nathan is really Nathan, and Anna confirms it for herself soon after. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any answers for them – the last thing he remembers is being shot by Faison more than seven years ago. He has no idea where he's been since then or why he doesn't remember all those years. Nina and Anna gently break the news that Maxie's in a coma, then happily tell him that he has a son. Ned and Brook follow Tracy to Atlantic City, where Tracy is getting drunk and gambling at a casino she and Luke used to frequent. Lois gets to her first and tries to convince her not to skip Monica's funeral. Tracy has no interest in listening to her after her big screw-up with Gio, and also no interest in Ned's warnings that she'll regret not saying goodbye to someone who was such a big part of her life. Tracy decides to base the decision on a hand of blackjack. Curtis tries to reassure Trina about his and Portia's inevitable divorce. Trina can't help thinking that Jordan was a major part of it, but Jordan tells her otherwise. Trina worries that the police will learn that Drew was one of the factors that led to he parents' breakup. Jordan cautions her against making waves, because the police could also learn that she was her parents' motivation for the mess with Drew, which could make it look like Trina had a motive to shoot him. James tells Cody that people always say that his father is watching him, and he wonders if Maxie is, too. Cody sweetly tells him that the situation with Maxie is totally different, but she's probably dreaming about him. Felicia ends up telling Cody about Nathan's possible return and her worries about what it'll do to James. Cody says they'll take things as they come and not make any decisions just yet. Portia runs into Jordan, and instead of blaming her for the downfall of her marriage, she surprisingly says that it's not Jordan's fault. Then she tells Isaiah that her marriage is over and she's changed her mind about being with him. He wants some time to think about the possible ramifications of dating his still-married boss, and he doesn't want to have to sneak around like he did with Jordan. On the flight to Atlantic City, Ned and Brook have a long conversation about the importance of family and his regrets about not being kinder about their (well, A.J.'s) mistakes. It softens Brook toward Lois, who tells her about the time Katherine was poisoned and the Quartermaines simultaneously accused each other and came together to cover for each other. Marshall finds it as hard to see Curtis as a person of interest in Drew's shooting as it is to see his marriage collapsing and his family falling apart. He tells Curtis that he would understand if he'd decided he needed to kill Drew, but his real suspicion is that Curtis thinks Portia was the shooter.

$500 to anyone who mentions Monica's daughter Dawn.

I don't care what Portia and Isaiah do. I just don't want to have to watch any of it.

I laughed out loud at Brook literally plugging her ears so she didn't have to hear about her father's sex life.

Interesting that Marshall basically said that he suspets that Curtis shot Drew, and Curtis didn't negate it.

September 25th, 2025

All of Monica's loved ones (and Lucy) say nice things about her at her memorial, except Tracy, who refuses to speak. Martin tries to talk Drew out of going, since he doesn't think Drew's reasons for wanting to attend are enough about Monica. Also, it's pretty inappropriate for him to show up angry at everyone for, according to Drew, keeping him from his mother (never mind that she made the choice to turn against him for herself). Drew reveals that Monica called him after all the stuff went down with the restraining orders, but he never responded, since he didn't want to get yelled at by someone else. Now he regrets that they didn't reconcile before her death. Anyway, long story short, Drew crashes the memorial.

Finally, a memorial episode with an appropriate number of flashbacks.

This has to be the first time in Tracy's life that people have actually wanted her to talk.

I've been really impressed with Rory Gibson all week. Almost all the other actors could use their real sadness over losing Leslie Charleson in their scenes, but he never worked with her. Still, he's consistently shown Michael's sadness over the loss.

No one feels bad for you, Drew.

Laura gets $500!

How did Lucy even make the cut for the private service?

I assume that Jason's lament about all the years he didn't get with Monica will help Gio come around on Brook and Dante.

September 26th, 2025

Tracy kicks Drew out of the memorial before he can say more than ten words, and everyone enjoys it a little too much. She decides to speak after all, and she says that while Monica married into the family, she became a true Quartermaine, as well as a sister to Tracy rather than just a sister-in-law. Everyone continues the tributes at the mansion, where they all behave themselves for once and actually act like a family. Drew wants to tell the police that he suddenly "remembered" that Michael shot him because with Monica gone, he has no one's feelings to worry about anymore. Martin thinks that perjury is a little extreme, but Drew says he's willing to go even further for revenge. Martin reminds him that Tracy was the Quartermaine who most recently wronged him, so he should target her instead. But Martin also knows that something karmic is coming for Tracy, so he's fine with just sitting back and enjoying whatever unfolds. Gio shows up at the reception, having decided after seeing a different side of the family that he's proud to be one of them. He doesn't talk to Brook or Dante, but he does speak with Tracy a little, and he and Ned have a nice conversation about their mutual love of music. Tracy leaves the reception early, which makes everyone freak out, as if she's not a grown woman who can take care of herself. She goes to the Quartermaine crypt, where she runs into an unnamed mystery woman (though the credits say her name is Veronica and she has Monica's maiden name, so she's probably a long-lost twin, because everyone in this freaking town has a twin).

I truly didn't expect them to shell out residual money for flashbacks of people who aren't on the show anymore.

Why did they set it up for Jason to tell a story and then not let us hear it?

Martin, go cash your check and then quit.

Dante was the only member of the Corinthos contingent who showed up for Michael. Boo! Boo to all the others!

I appreciate that Portia and Elizabeth talked about the fact that no kids were at the service, because it seemed weird. Well, not weird that the younger kids weren't there, but I figured Danny would have shown up.

I noticed that someone quietly removed the picture of Britt from the memorial wall at the hospital. Heh.

Whoever Veronica is, she's only one for, like, three weeks, so I don't expect much to come of that.

September 29th, 2025

The mystery woman is Ronnie, Monica's sister, who reconnected with Monica after a childhood apart and a falling-out decades ago. Tracy doesn't buy her story and suspects that Ronnie's only in town for a money grab. Ronnie warns that Tracy might not be entitled to everything she believes she is. Nina tells Britt and Obrecht that Nathan is alive, which Obrecht doesn't buy until she sees him herself. While she's thrilled, Britt is very reserved and looks not the least bit surprised. She also seems to not want to spend any time with her brother. Felicia and Spinelli delicately break the news to James that Nathan is alive and in Port Charles. They assure him that he doesn't have to meet his father until he's ready, but since they show up at the hospital at the end of the episode, it looks like he's ready now. Alexis is tired of covering up the crime that's the result of Ava and Kristina's ongoing vendetta, and she's eager to return Ace's money, give Ava something to shut her up, and move on. She thinks Ric will be upset for a while but eventually calm down, since he can't turn in his kidnappers without dragging himself down with them. Ava continues enjoying her month of taunting Ric, who only has ten days left of captivity...at least until he fakes swallowing his latest sleeping pill and frees himself. Michael invites Molly and Kristina over to the Quartermaines' while Jacinda's there, in an attempt to make it look like they're friends. Kristina finds it suspicious and concerning that he's hanging out with the woman who drugged Drew. Molly, however, catches on right away that Michael's trying to shore up his alibi. Anna learns that the bullets Drew was shot with match a gun once owned by Edward. This turns her and Turner's focus to the Quartermaines, since they would have easier access to the gun than anyone else. Willow meets Nathan and is all, "Great news, we're family!" until she runs into Nina and remembers that she doesn't really like her family. Nina hopes that Nathan's return will help Willow come around to a better relationship with her, but as far as Willow's concerned, their mutual fake alibi is all the connection they should be having right now.

I can buy that Monica had a 50-year estrangement with someone and never mentioned her to anyone, but if they'd gotten back in touch over the past year, why didn't she tell anyone? Why didn't she invite Ronnie to come visit?

Let's skip to the part where Monica left the house or whatever to Ronnie.

Up until today, I was convinced that Nathan is really Nathan. Now, I'm skeptical. I thought Britt's behavior and facial expressions today meant that she knew he was alive and had to keep quiet. Based on her demeanor when she hugged Nathan, and the look on his face afterward, I think she's actually scared of him. Insane theory: He's the Big Bad. He's either himself with a major personality change, a la Drew, or he's someone else pretending to be Nathan.

I like how Felicia and Spinelli handled things with James. I especially like that they let him take the lead on when he's ready to see Nathan.
