October 3rd, 2024

Lucky and Elizabeth finally reconnect, and she makes it clear that her expectations for him aren't very high. He swears he's going to see Aiden today, and he seems completely unprepared for how that might go. Heather is frustrated about her blood-test results, and Ric doesn't tell her about the other results, I guess because he can't yet explain why the GH ones were different. Ava, of all people, notes that someone could have altered them to keep Heather behind bars. Molly tries to reason with Alexis about protecting Sonny and Kristina, having not yet realized that she should save her breath because Alexis isn't going to back out now that she's taken things this far. Alexis basically says that Molly can't understand her motives because she's not a mother, and then seems surprised that Molly's offended. Marshall didn't accept the tour offer because he made a commitment to run the Savoy, which is more important than ever now that Curtis is going to be running Aurora. Curtis refuses to let him give up on something he wants so much, and he convinces Marshall that they'll work something out so he can leave town for four months. Portia lays into Brad, who doesn't seem to get why his boss might not be happy to have him working back at the place where he previously caused so much trouble. We're probably supposed to interpret Portia's flashback to altering Heather's test results as her comparing herself to Brad, but as long as she doesn't take someone else's baby, I think we're all going to let this one slide. Heather wants Alexis to help her be a better mother, I think? Which is kind of pointless if Steven refuses to have anything to do with her. Anyway, Alexis offers her some legal advice by suggesting that she have another blood test. Sam has gotten past her anger at Jason for leaving without warning to find Lucky, and she says something to him about how he should never stop being himself. Trina lets Ava know that she's going back to school, which makes Ava worry that she's giving in to family pressure and is doing something she's not ready for. Once again, Dante's all, "Sam makes my life so wonderful," while the audience is like, "We're going to finish that thought for you and add, 'But if Lulu were awake, it would be a whole different story.'"

"Alexis might get off, so I could, too." You killed seven people! One of them was a cop! Shut up, Heather.

Portia, I'm telling you, you're only harming yourself by having a public fight with the guy you could easily frame for your crime. Because he'll inevitably get blamed, and now he knows you have a vendetta.

Oh, suddenly Sam is okay with Jason running off into danger? Whatever, we're running out the clock, it won't matter in a month.

Why the dramatic framing when Lucky and Elizabeth ran into Sam and Jason, which went absolutely nowhere?

That's two people leaving the show to go on tour. That's enough.

Ric connects most of the dots between Heather's altered test results and who might have done the altering, while Ava's had them connected for, like, half an hour already. She tries to convince him not to dig any deeper, but Ric is more focused on using the real test results to get Heather released from prison, something he thinks he can accomplish quickly. Ava runs straight to Portia and lets her know that Ric is 95 percent of the way on to her. They're concerned that Trina will learn what Portia did and blame herself, but there's not much Portia can do without drawing attention to herself. Lucas has decided to move back to Port Charles and be a trauma surgeon at GH, to Carly's delight. He questions her apparent decision to rekindle things with Sonny, then has to confront his own failed relationship when he learns that Brad is also back at GH. Within ten seconds of seeing his ex again, Lucas makes it crystal-clear that they won't have any kind of connection other than a professional one. Brook and Chase get a taste of parenthood when Violet gets sent home from school for hitting a kid who insulted Finn. While they'd love to make the kid pay, they remind themselves that they need to think like Finn and focus on Violet's behavior instead. Lucky has a pointless conversation with Sonny about the mistakes he's made and his nerves over seeing Aiden again and blah, blah, blah, don't they both have more important things to do? Lucky then visits Isaiah, who thinks that if the transplant is successful, Lulu's chances of waking up could increase. Believing that Alexis is protecting Kristina, Carly asks Sonny if he has a plan to get her out of her mess. Sonny totally doesn't, since he thinks that the case will fall apart before he has to do anything. He claims that if evidence clearing Alexis doesn't turn up, he'll confess, but come on, there's no way. Trina and Gio clash over their views of Ava, and Josslyn has to play peacemaker.

I actually agree with Ava on something: If it came down to it, Portia would absolutely kill someone to protect Trina. Every mother on this show would do that for her children.

Welcome back, Lucas! Good luck finding a love interest in this town.

How absolutely ridiculous that we saw Lucky reconnect with Sonny before Laura or Aiden or Dante or, like, a dozen other people who have an actual connection to him.

"What are we going to do to protect Alexis?" You're not going to do anything, Carly, because that would require you to come clean about lying, and we know you won't do that. I also don't believe for a second that Sonny would fall on his sword for Alexis unless Kristina begged him to.

Lucky and Aiden finally reconnect, and Aiden is a lot softer toward his father than he gave the impression he would be when Elizabeth told him Lucky was in town. He works up his courage to come out, and though Lucky's taken aback, he handles it perfectly, assuring Aiden that he loves him no matter what. He also talks about how similar Aiden and Luke are, which to Aiden is a huge compliment. Unfortunately, the day quickly goes downhill when Lucky's test results come back saying he's not a viable donor for Lulu. Lucas runs into Michael, Willow, and Wiley, and it's just...super-awkward. Maxie gets him to open up about it, and he makes it clear that he's happy with the way things turned out, even though it was difficult for him to give up Wiley. Michael decides it's time to tell Wiley that he lived with Lucas before his parents. He and Willow explain things in an age-appropriate way, and it doesn't seem like Wiley fully grasps what the situation was really like, but it's not as if they could tell him that his birth mother swapped him with a dead baby, so it's understandable that he's like, "Okay, cool, are we going on the boat now?" Violet gets some additional anti-violence guidance from Tracy, then the opposite from Gio, who comes from a family where conflicts are solved with violence all the time. Lois is touched to hear him commiserating with her about how difficult it is to be separated from a parent. Brook and Chase meet with Violet's principal, who reveals that she's been struggling at school for a little while. All three are committed to helping her, and Brook and Chase handle the situation perfectly, especially considering that they've never done this before. That makes it even funnier when Tracy sends Diane to the school to advocate for Violet in case she's going to be punished too harshly for hitting. Brennan wants Holly to tell him all about Sidwell, but Felicia interrupts and chases him off. She's very in favor of Holly sticking around and getting back together with Robert, which means there's going to be some bickering with Mac when he finds out they're on opposite sides of this. Robert gives Diane a heads-up that Holly's in town but assures her that she's in his past while Diane is in his future. Let's hope Holly's okay with that, now that she's finally gone to see him.

Once again, people: Has anyone called Ethan?

Hey, Natalia, come take a lesson from Lucky on how to respond when your child comes out.

Has no one ever told Wiley that Lucas even exists? That's weird.

Also, heh. He has another great-uncle he doesn't know about – Ric.

Did we know that Wiley's middle name is Alan? That's sweet.

If Violet has had an ongoing issue with this kid, why haven't Chase and Brook heard about it before now?

Lois' contribution to this episode was...?

Lucky refuses to believe that he can't save Lulu just because he had a parasite at some point and would pass it on to her. Rocco overhears him telling Lulu that he'll do everything possible to find her a donor, and he lashes out at the adults he thinks have lied to him about his mother getting better. Dante apologizes for pinning all their hopes on Lucky and vows not to let Lulu die. As Elizabeth confides to Lucas that she's afraid of what all this will do to Lucky, Lucky goes to Bobbie's, kicks out all the customers, and trashes the place. Felicia notices a PI named Elaine watching Carly and wonders what kind of case she's working. It turns out that Martin hired her in hopes that she'll bust Carly for not really being back with Sonny (because Martin knows from experience that the faces she makes around him aren't the faces a woman happy to reunite with her ex would make). Alexis still objects to shifting suspicion to him, since that wouldn't be any better for Kristina, by Martin convinces her that once he can show that Sonny had a fake alibi and get the charges against Alexis dismissed, Diane will be able to get him out of the rest of the mess, and everything will work out for Kristina. That will mean keeping a muzzle on Kristina up until Sonny's cleared, something that Alexis has already assigned Sam to do. She also wants Sam to get Molly and Kristina to make peace, like, she's just one woman, Alexis. Your expectations for her are way too high. Anna and Jason tell Brennan all the details of their Sidwell mission, except for, you know, that one thing. Brennan's only real complaint is that Anna didn't take out Sidwell when she had the chance. Now he wants her to talk Jason into changing his mind about working for the WSB. Also, he's noticed that there's something going on there. Holly and Robert have an uneventful reunion and she seems poised to accept that he's moved on from her with Diane (or at least she's pretending to). Mac interrupts, assuming that Holly has gotten her hooks back into his brother, and blasts Robert for hurting Diane. Robert's like, "First of all, it's none of your business. Second of all, I'm not going back to Holly. Third of all, shut up." Carly is appalled about Brad's rehiring at GH and offers to get him fired for Lucas' sake. Lucas is still getting past everything that happened, but he's healed enough that he thinks he can handle dealing with his horrible ex in the workplace. Holly can't find anyone to buy the diamonds she stole from Sidwell, boo hoo.

I badly need someone to tell Lucky that clearly he ran away all those years ago because he's afraid of turning into Luke, which is exactly who he acted like today, and he needs therapy. But I think the best person for this is Lulu.

I'd be surprised if all this doesn't lead to Lucky relapsing.

The general consensus on speculation about how they'll write out Sam is that she'll drown while diving to find the gun and her liver will save Lulu. I have a lot of issues with that idea. First, it means she hasn't been tested yet, which I highly doubt. Second, she still has a few weeks on the show, and the implication has been that Lulu doesn't have that long left. Third, it's gross that Julian was the one who put Lulu in a coma and his daughter's death would be what saves her. If I were writing this story, I would have Sidwell send assassins after Anna, Lucky, Jason, and Holly, and have one mistake Sam for Anna.

Mavis the fraudulent service dog is too cute. That said, if I were a PI who might need to be unmemorable at times, I don't think I would carry an animal around with me.

Is Anna only allowed to recap stuff now?

October 9th, 2024

Josslyn finds Lucky just after his tantrum at Bobbie's and yells at him for causing destruction. Lucky ignores her and goes to Jason to get money and a passport so he can go back to Africa. Jason tries to convince him not to run away again, but Lucky blames his poor decisions in the past for the mess his family is in now, and he figures they'd all be better off with him leaving again. To his credit, he gets how much that makes him like his father, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's going to stop acting like him. He eventually goes back to the hospital to pray in the chapel, and though God might not save Lulu like Lucky wants Him to, at least Laura's there now. Felicia tries to call and warn Carly that Elaine is tailing her, but Carly's already in Brennan's hotel room and ignores her phone. Elaine snaps pictures of her going in, then pretends to think it's her room, I guess so she can get a glimpse of both of them in there? I don't know. While Brennan and Elaine are talking, Felicia finally gets through to Carly and gives her a heads-up. She and Brennan then help Carly get out undetected. Carly's learned her lesson about being careful who she's seen hanging out with, which Felicia appreciates, since she thinks Brennan is the last person she should befriend. Kristina wants to come clean to the police about the night of John's murder, but both Alexis and Sonny shut her down. She tells both she'll behave, but then she goes to talk to Anna. Molly's already done the same thing, urging Anna to get the case reopened with Sonny as the main suspect. Anna can't get her to see that this is a federal matter now and she can't do anything. Molly notes that Anna's had dirt on Sonny for a while and should have used it months ago to establish what a bad guy he is. Barring that, it would be really great if she could find the gun Alexis got rid of. Natalia is trying to keep things professional with Sonny, who practically asks her out while determining that if circumstances were different, she'd already be in his bed. Josslyn slowly realizes that Lucky must have trashed the diner because of bad news, so she covers for him when Dex and another cop come by. Later, she tells Dex that Lucky was responsible and the only explanation is that he's unable to help Lulu, which means he's suffering enough not to deserve any further punishment. Sonny's finally reached the point where he can admit that he might have to fall on his sword for Alexis, but he'll only admit that to Jason. Anna approaches Jason, feeling like they should talk about their kiss, even though neither of them actually wants to. They both agree that what happened in Africa should stay in Africa.

Jason: (spends half an hour telling Lucky not to leave town) Lucky: "So what do you think I should do?" Well, listen, for starters.

"Your mom's trial is in three weeks." Yeah, no, it's not. It's going to get postponed because of a family tragedy.

The best way to turn the Alexis mess around, as well as start to mend things between Molly and Kristina, is for Kristina to tell Molly she wants to tell the truth, and for Molly to help her come up with a strategy to do so without implicating anyone else.

Molly, I get your point, but Carly didn't perjure herself to protect Sonny – it was for Michael. Also, wow, I can't remember the last time I thought about Claudia.

Maybe Sonny would take this false-alibi stuff more seriously if he remembered that Michael was part of (well, responsible for) the cover-up and could be in a lot of trouble if it fell apart.

I don't think it counts as "taking the fall" if you confess to your own crime, Sonny.

Not to suggest that anyone manufacture evidence, but couldn't someone just find a gun like the one Alexis tossed and stage things so it looks like it was found in the river?

Good, we're all in agreement: The kiss never happened.

October 10th, 2024

Lucky and Laura's reunion is bittersweet, since he has to reveal that after all the trouble people went to in bringing him home, he can't help Lulu. He's still putting all the blame on himself, which certainly isn't going to help. Laura's starting to accept that Lulu might die, and she asks Lucky to stick around to help her through that if it happens. Diane begs Jason to convince Sonny to turn himself in for John's murder so Alexis doesn't have to take the fall. He tells her that Sonny's already working on that and is just consulting with Carly first. Sonny is, indeed, ready to confess, and he wants Carly to take Donna and flee the country so she can't be arrested as well. Martin shares the results of Elaine's snooping with Alexis, sure that a picture of Carly going into Brennan's hotel room will cast enough doubt on Sonny's fake alibi to garner him attention. Alexis approves of his plan to deploy it and adds that Martin can throw Sonny under the bus, too, if he feels like it. Martin can't get in to show it to Anna, though, because the police station has just been evacuated after a suspicious package was found. Bomb-sniffing dogs reacted to it, but I guess it has kibble in it or something, because there are no explosives inside – just a gun that looks like it was fished out of the river. Jason wishes he'd killed John years ago, since he thinks being sent to prison would be better than Sonny and Carly having to, like, face the consequences of the actions they purposely and consciously chose to take. Diane urges him to stop cleaning up Sonny's messes and put his family first. Kristina is in the middle of confessing to Anna that she was the one driving Alexis' car the night of John's murder when Michael bursts in and makes her leave. He talks her into continuing to keep his mouth shut, even if doing so will send her mother to prison. Dante feels horrible for promising Rocco that they'll help Lulu when he can't be sure he can deliver. Olivia takes the first steps to mobilize a massive testing effort in hopes of finding Lulu a donor.

Laura and Lucky broke my hearts today, so it's nice to know that they won't end up losing Lulu.

I wish Elizabeth had told Laura that Lucky wasn't a viable donor to save him from having to do it.

I distinctly remember Sonny making a deal sometime in the past that ensured immunity for Carly when he confessed to something or another, so I'm sure he could pull that off again.

Should I be disturbed that I thought like a criminal yesterday, and today someone did exactly what I suggested to get Alexis exonerated? Because in all honesty, I'm just proud.

It seems pretty obvious that Sonny and Jason would have arranged for the delivery of the gun, but if Sonny knew about it, he would have just sat back and waited for someone to find it. So I'm not sure anymore.

Martin is definitely placing a lot of faith in a picture that doesn't prove anything (kind of like the Corinthoses thinking that the pictures from Ava's hotel room will prove that Ava pushed Kristina). Good thing the gun will take care of everything.

Michael got Spinelli to help him track Kristina's phone?? Now I kind of want Willow to cheat on him. (Also, shame on you, Spinelli.)

Olivia asked Nina to use her contacts to spread the word about Lulu? Not, say, Curtis, the CEO of a major media company?

October 11th, 2024

Tests on the gun that mysteriously turned up at the PCPD prove that it wasn't the one that killed John. Anna informs Robert that the gun shows signs of being in the river for weeks, and its serial number confirms that it's registered to Sonny. Though they agree that Sonny is likely the real killer, they decide not to share the evidence with anyone until they're absolutely sure it clears Alexis. Dex didn't get the memo, though, and he shares the news with Dante. At the same time, Sonny tells Michael and Kristina that he's turning himself in at noon. Kristina quickly passes this along to Dante, who then learns from Dex that the news about the gun is being kept under wraps for now. He figures out that if Sonny turns himself in before the gun clears Alexis, he'll damn himself when he doesn't have to. But giving Sonny a heads-up would be unethical, and Dante could lose his badge if he did it. He talks over his dilemma with Cody, who says he'll have to decide for himself whether he values his family or his job more. It's his family, of course, so right before Sonny's about to meet with Anna and the prosecutor, he starts to break the news about the gun. Sonny visits Alexis to let her know that he's going to confess, partly for Kristina's sake and partly for Alexis'. He plans to make a deal that protects both of them and Carly from punishment for any crimes they may have committed. Though Alexis seems a little sympathetic toward him, it's all but gone when Kristina comes by, torn about the whole thing where one or the other of her parents could end up doing prison time. Alexis wants Kristina to acknowledge that Sonny killed someone and is facing the consequences, because it's up to him to clean up the mess he got them all into. Ava seems to think that Lucas owes her something because they're family, even though neither of them has been in touch since he left town. Also, he's pretty mad at her for Blaze's outing. She somehow guilts him into agreeing to stay in touch with his father's side of his family. Martin is in the dark and thinks that Elaine's photo and Brennan's room-service bill will get Alexis out of jail. Anna has a soft spot for Carly, it seems, so she gives her multiple opportunities to recant the false alibi she gave Sonny. Carly doesn't take any of them, and she also doesn't take Anna's advice not to get too close to Brennan. Portia continues paying way too much attention to Brad instead of just sitting back and waiting for him to screw something up. Ric files a subpoena to get Heather's lab results from GH scrutinized, and Elizabeth has Brad do the honors. Just as Portia learns that the court is suspicious about the anomalous results, Brad discovers that she's responsible for them. Brad and Cody catch up, and Brad gets it in his head that because Mac forgave Cody, Lucas will forgive him.

Hee hee hee. Sonny's going to avoid sending himself to prison because of Dex. This plotline started out funny, got annoying and boring, then went back to funny.

With Dex a cop now, they can have Dante leave the force and still have a good number of officers on the show. So...go ahead and get yourself fired, buddy. You can take over Sam's PI business when she gets unceremoniously killed off.

I can't believe we saw Lucas interact with Ava before Sam. What is wrong with this show? Wait, don't answer that.

So according to Ava, Julian did horrible things a) because he was insecure and b) because of Alexis. Ma'am, I need you to stuff it.

Ava: "I sent my condolences when your mother passed." Carly: "Did you read the note that Trina wrote before you sent it?" HA!

"Ethan was tested?" WHY ARE YOU JUST NOW THINKING OF THAT?

Oh, come on! The legal department wouldn't get the head nurse involved when there was a subpoena for the lab!

October 14th, 2024

Just as Dante is about to tell Sonny that the gun was found, Martin comes in, complaining to the prosecutor about how he wasn't informed that there was new evidence. Sonny quickly shuts up and gets to hear that the gun Alexis ditched was allegedly found, and Martin's going to push to have the charges against her dropped. Elizabeth quickly verifies that the gun looks like the one she saw Alexis with, and Ric reluctantly does the same, which is all Martin needs. A hearing is called, the judge agrees with Martin that the prosecution doesn't have enough evidence against his client, and Alexis is released. Molly, however, can't let that be enough, and she whines to Michael that Kristina still contributed to the mess and should face consequences. Portia confesses to Curtis that she altered Heather's test results and is on the brink of being found out. She adds that Ava knows, but Portia doesn't think she'll say anything since Portia getting in trouble would hurt Trina. Curtis contacts Ric to find out what will happen next if the fake results are tossed. Ric is hoping that Heather will get her sentence reduced, since she'll remain behind bars, but it's possible that she'll immediately get released. Brad subtly blackmails Portia with the fake test results to ensure that his probationary employment turns into a permanent job. Portia should be in the clear for now, but Brad's going to hold on to a digital copy of the results, and we all know he'll use them whenever he feels like he needs to. Anna is fully aware that Dante was going to risk his job to assist Sonny, and Dante respects her too much to pretend he wasn't going to. He was willing to cross the line he's never crossed before because Lulu and Rocco are more important to him than ever, and all he cares about now is saving Lulu. Elizabeth confides to Terry that she expects Lucky to flee town again now that he can't save Lulu, as he probably placed a lot of his desire for atonement on being able to do that. The good news is that the push for people to get tested has paid off, and there's a match.

Congratulations, Martin – you may have saved Dante's job.

Molly, listen to me: You're going to want to drop your issues with Kristina, because in a few weeks, you're going to have a lot bigger problems to deal with.

Of course Sonny wants some kind of credit for Alexis' happy ending. As if he didn't let her sit in jail for a month.

What's up with all the Molly/Dex scenes? Today's didn't even have a point.

October 15th, 2024

The match is Sam, and Elizabeth jumps the gun a little in telling Laura that there might be a donor before even Sam knows. If she passes the next round of tests and consents to surgery, they'll need to move fast, because Lulu's declining. Ned has put things in motion to get Valentin's ELQ shares taken from him, and he wants to have them evenly distributed among the kids in the family. You'd think Drew would be on board with that, but since Ned wants to be in charge of things until the minor kids come of age, he's not, especially since his own shares will have to go into a blind trust if he wins the election, and Ned wants control of that, too. Drew suggests that Michael run ELQ if Drew wins the election, and also get control of the blind trust. Instead of fighting, Ned hires Elaine to get him proof that there's something going on between Drew and Willow. Tracy wants to sue the parents of the kid Violet hit, which Brook finds completely ridiculous. Tracy does, however, get her thinking about the possibility that the school would rather protect themselves than do what's best for Violet. Olivia encourages Brook and theorizes that Tracy's trying to take control of the situation because she feels so helpless about Lulu's condition. She's completely right, and Tracy agrees to back off when Olivia asks her to. Brook gets further guidance from Willow, who knows much more about how schools operate than Tracy does, and who encourages her to fight for whatever Violet needs. In the end, it might all be pointless because Finn is about to leave rehab. Sam tries to distract Dante with a trip to the batting cages, but his problems are too big to forget. He's especially preoccupied with the possibility that he might not be able to keep his promise to Rocco that Lulu won't die. Cody wants to buy Serenity, but he can't afford the $6 million price tag. Sasha encourages him to find an "investor" who will loan him money for the down payment. Tracy is the most reasonable choice, but Cody chickens out of asking her. Elizabeth and Isaiah haven't heard from Lucky, and they can't help worrying that he's run away again. Isaiah confides that he ran away from his practice after an operation went badly, so he can empathize. Laura welcomes a visit from Martin, but not so much one from Cyrus, who Martin basically chases from Lulu's room because he's bugging Laura.

I guess it's supposed to be big news that Sam is the match, but a bunch of fans guessed that weeks ago.

Probably not a great idea to tell Laura that there's a match when the match has not yet finished all the testing or agreed to surgery.

For a PI, Sam is...not so great at connecting the dots.

God bless Olivia for being like, "I love you, Ned, but this is so not the time." And I appreciate that he realized that compared to what she's dealing with, his issues are very, very minor.

Nobody! Cares! About! Sasha! Or! Cody!

Ugh, of course Lois' annoying dialect coach worked with Martin.

October 16th, 2024

Sam agrees to undergo more testing, only wishing she'd started weeks ago so Dante and Rocco wouldn't have to stay in their state of uncertainty for so long. Terry respects her request not to tell Dante anything until they know for sure that Sam can donate, since she doesn't want him to get his hopes up if it doesn't work out. Isaiah and Elizabeth stabilize Lulu after her ventilator malfunctions, and then Portia and Elizabeth spend more time focusing on the equipment than on assuring Dante that she's okay, which is annoying. Lulu's vitals have worsened, which means she needs the transplant more than ever. But Sam's next round of tests come back saying everything's good, so the operation is a go. Holly sees a picture of Sasha and Cody from a Deception ad, which gives Felicia the opening to gush about her stepson. She doesn't notice Holly's shock over hearing that he's dating Sasha and his past as a conman. As soon as she can, Holly speeds over to the Quartermaines' to see Sasha, who calls her Mother. Brennan chastises Anna and Jason for not killing Sidwell when they had the chance, like they weren't too busy running for their lives to try to take him out. It's really misplaced anger, as the pilot who flew the group home was found murdered and the plane was ransacked. The three guess that Holly stole something valuable from Sidwell, but they're not too worried that he'll come after anyone but her. Isaiah and Jordan have dinner and talk a little about their professional callings and miracles. Okay, so the conversation isn't exactly thrilling, but they're really cute together. Sasha asks Michael if he'll loan Cody money for Serenity, and he declines, since he doesn't know Cody well enough to trust that it's a good business decision. Tracy overhears the conversation and slams Sasha for asking her employer for money, which means she has two strikes against her and might not be allowed a third. Mac bugs Robert again about how he needs to stay with Diane and avoid Holly, since there's no way she's telling the truth about not wanting to get back together with him. The whole conversation is pointless, since Robert's already made up his mind to be with Diane, but Mac doesn't trust him to stick to that decision.

The failure of the ventilator was attempted murder, yes?

Hey, Elizabeth, you don't get to talk down to the guy whose loved one just almost died about how you didn't fill him in on what happened because you were filling out an incident report.

No. Just...no. I refuse to believe that Holly is Sasha's mother. I have suspended disbelief too many times over the past 28 years and won't do it again. It can't be true.

...But if it is true and her father is Robert (likely, considering the way Holly was all, "Yes, more Scorpios are great, ha ha ha ha!"), I really hope she and Cody haven't had sex yet.

Another option would have been for Sasha to get tested and find out she's a match for Lulu, then reveal that Holly's her mother and Luke was her biological father.

"The possibility that he survived shouldn't be news to any of us." Someone knows what show he's on!

Imagine asking your ex-boyfriend for money so your new boyfriend can buy a $6 million house. Also, I'm on Tracy's side in this. That was totally inappropriate.

Mac, you're being annoying. Stop it.

October 17th, 2024

Sasha hasn't seen Holly since Holly ditched her in Llanview to go help Ethan with something (a subject that seems to be a sore one for Sasha). She doesn't want anything to do with her mother or her cons, and she definitely doesn't want Holly's input on her personal life. Holly blurts out that she and Cody can't be together because they're cousins, as Robert is Sasha's father. Sasha doesn't buy this tale from a notorious liar, and she also doesn't buy that Holly never told Robert about her because it could put her in danger from Scorpio enemies, as Sasha knows that Robin never had that problem. But when she starts making out with Cody later, she slams on the brakes before things can get too physical, so it doesn't look like she's 100 percent convinced that it's a lie. Kristina runs into Ric and Ava together and has a big blow-up about, like, everything. Ric pokes the bear by blaming her for Irene's death, which leads to Kristina yelling her head off in the middle of a restaurant. Alexis yanks her out of there and tells her that if she wants the justice system to work and Ava to be punished, she needs to shut up. Ava figures out that Ric orchestrated the whole thing, having learned from Molly that Alexis and Kristina would be at the restaurant. He believes that Kristina's fall was an accident, but he's still determined to make her look unhinged and break her on the witness stand. Dante and Sam give their kids the good news that Sam is going to be the one to save Lulu. Scout is nervous about whether Sam will be okay, but they assure her that everything will be fine and they'll have a big party to celebrate once everyone's well, and let's just stop things right here so we don't have to face the reality coming our way, yeah? Tracy questions why Cody didn't ask her for money for Serenity. He's aware that a number of men in her life have used her for her money, and he didn't want to join their ranks. Plus, he wants to do things his own way, which doesn't include accepting a loan from a friend. Alexis is worried about Molly and T.J.'s relationship and asks Jordan if she thinks they should get involved. Jordan doesn't know what they could do, since it's up to them to work things out themselves. Fortunately, Molly and T.J. have finally started communicating better, though strangely, it's because of Ava. They've both decided that while Kristina made bad decisions and inadvertently started the ball rolling on Irene's death, Ava is the person to blame, and they want her to pay. Tracy finds Holly at the mansion and has some reasonable suspicions about why she's there, which Holly doesn't really answer in a believable way.

Someone on Twitter who has a good memory pointed out that when Sasha gave Felicia a fake DNA sample for the Mac/Cody paternity test, it showed no family match. So either Holly's lying or the writers forgot about that (or are going to make something up to explain it).

If Sasha knows about Ethan, does that mean Ethan knows about Sasha? And he's never mentioned to Lucky or Lulu that he has another sister? I don't necessarily want Ethan back on the show (unless he's played by Nathan Parsons again, which I don't see happening), but this would be a good time to have him return.

Why haven't we seen a scene where Ric and Molly discuss how he's Ava's lawyer?

Possibly the grossest part of Ric using Kristina is how when she was little, he was like a second father to her.

I just love being hit over the head with Sam, Dante, and the kids' happiness, knowing it isn't going to last.

So it wasn't okay for Sasha to ask Michael for money, but Tracy would have been okay with Cody asking her?

Holly tells a stunned Maxie and Felicia that Sasha is her daughter. She left Sasha with her mother because she knew she couldn't parent her, and they didn't have much of a connection until Sasha was 12 and Holly started bringing her along on cons. When she reveals that Robert is Sasha's father, Felicia pressures her to tell him. Robert already knows, though, because Sasha has gone to him to share that Holly is lying about her paternity and to ask him to submit to a paternity test so they can prove her wrong. Robert happily complies, giving no indication that he believes a word of Holly's story. Finn and Violet are moving to Seattle, and apparently no one gave Violet a heads-up, because she has to pack and jump on a plane right away. Brook can't handle it, as it reminds her of how much she struggled to give Bailey back to Maxie. Ned is supportive, but Lois is acting weird. Sam tells Alexis, Molly, and Kristina that she's having surgery really soon to save Lulu. They're supportive, but somehow the conversation turns into a-freaking-nother fight between Molly and Kristina. Sam and Alexis both call them out, and Alexis tells them that it's time to stop being mad at each other because it's not helping either of them. Laura expresses her gratitude to Tracy for how she stepped up and helped raise Lulu when Laura couldn't. Tracy says it was an honor. There's some kind of complication that might affect Lulu's transplant, because of course. Lucky and Elizabeth hang out with Ace and discuss Aiden, and though they're basically filler, at least they're not boring filler. Lucas and Isaiah agree that the issue with Lulu's ventilator was likely an intentional act, so they need to gather evidence that they can take to the police.

I love that Maxie and I had the exact same reaction to the Holly/Sasha news: "No, no, no, no, no." I also love her open disdain of Holly. AND she remembered the paternity test! My only complaint about Maxie today is that she's dressed like every girl I went to college with in 2000.

I was wondering why Robert was so calm about possibly having another child, but then I remembered that he went through this exact same thing with Ethan, where he was told he was Ethan's father only to learn that he wasn't. So either he truly thinks that Holly is lying or he's just letting himself believe it until there's proof.

Good, Alexis is finally parenting her children. Sam should ban her sisters from visiting her in the hospital.

How ridiculous to tell Violet about the move to Seattle the same morning she has to leave. Finn should have been having this conversation with her for weeks ahead of time. Also, what's with this show's obsession with Seattle? Is it because they film on the same lot as Grey's Anatomy?

If we get Violet/Gio goodbye scenes and no Violet/Elizabeth goodbye scenes, I will cut someone.

October 21st, 2024

Lulu has a blood clot that greatly reduces the odds of her transplant being a success. The decision will now come down to Sam, who can back out if she's not willing to undergo the operation that might not be worth it. Lucky asks Isaiah for a recommendation of a surgeon who has experience and will take the risk. Isaiah himself has the experience, but he really doesn't want to go back into an OR, especially when the outcome is likely to be bad. Lucky talks him into putting his fear aside to give Lulu a chance, since this is a matter of her possibly dying vs. definitely dying. It looks like Robert does believe Holly's claim about Sasha being his daughter, and he's not happy that she's kept that a secret for the past 30+ years. Holly has plenty of excuses for not telling him, but none of them are good enough justification, and she admits that if Sasha hadn't gotten together with Cody, she would've taken the secret to the grave. Tracy, Violet, Brook, and Chase have one last tea party together before Chase takes Violet to Seattle. Tracy sends her off with Lila's tea set, though Violet makes her keep one cup so they can still have tea parties over video chat. Dante feels guilty that one of the women he loves is going to save the life of the other. He swears that Lulu is totally in his past and Sam is his present and future. Lucas is tempted to tell Laura and Lucky that this latest complication means Lulu's doomed, but Elizabeth tells him that when it comes down to him being professional or choosing his family, he needs to remain professional. Maxie tries to defend Holly to Sasha, for some reason, but Sasha sees her relationship with Cody as a hill to die on, and she refuses to let Holly take him from her. Sam tells Drew and Jason about the transplant and asks them to, like, spend time with their children while she's out of commission. Lucas has thought more about the failed ventilator and thinks that both it and the alarm indicating its failure were tampered with.

Yeah, Holly, you're not going to get any sympathy here.

No Violet/Elizabeth goodbye. Ridiculous.

Ew, Maxie, why are you making this about you?

Welcome to Sam McCall Goodbye Tour Week. It's going to be awful.

October 22nd, 2024

Ric learns that not only did the judge in Heather's case decide that her illness is to blame for all the crimes she's committed, she's being released from prison tomorrow. He tells Elizabeth first, not wanting to have to give the Ashfords the news alone, but she leaves him hanging, so he's on his own to tell Portia that her worst fears have come true. Anna learns that Sasha is Holly and Robert's daughter (allegedly) and reacts the same way the rest of us have. She advises Holly to leave town and never come back. Instead, Holly goes to see Sonny. Sam talks Lucas into performing her surgery, which seems like a really horrible idea to me, but no one asked my opinion. Maxie spills to Spinelli that Lulu told her four years ago that she wanted to get back with Dante. She's still not sure whether she should say anything, but Spinelli doesn't think there's any point now. Spinelli's probably right to lean toward keeping quiet, because as Dante's currently telling Sonny, he's more in love with Sam than he ever thought he would be. Jordan and Isaiah continue being cute while having nothing interesting to add to the episode. Nina realizes that Ava's interested in Ric and cautions her that he only cares about two things – himself and money. Ava seems to think she can be an exception, and that she's not super-vulnerable after her roller-coaster relationship with Nikolas. The Ashfords throw Marshall a goodbye party that gets overshadowed by everything else in the episode (which isn't even that much, so you know it's a really uninteresting party). Molly and T.J. are back to being on poor terms, and I'm kind of waiting for Stella to lock them in a room together until they have an actual conversation with each other.

LOL at Ric being like, "I screwed up by doing my job too well" and needing Elizabeth to hold his hand while he broke the news to the Ashfords.

I agree with Anna. Go away, Holly.

Oh, please, no way would Sam think that Lucas – her brother, who's a trauma surgeon, not a transplant surgeon – would be operating on her.

I will never not crack up at the details about Jordan's kidney transplant.

"T.J.'s got his own grief." You're grieving over the same thing! Go to therapy!

Also, Molly and T.J. were fine three days ago. What's up with them being weird with each other again?

October 23rd, 2024

The Ashfords lash out at Ric for representing Heather, but Molly defends him. He appreciates it, but not so much when she asks him to drop Ava's case. He says he's doing it for Molly, as he's determined to convince her that Kristina's fall was an accident. Molly's desperate for Ava to face justice, but Ric sees this as a desire for vengeance, which he figures she inherited from him. Molly gets so upset about his view of things that she kicks him out of her apartment. Portia and Curtis want Trina to move back home for her protection, but Trina refuses to put her life on hold again because of Heather. On top of blaming Ric for the way things turned out, they're understandably upset with the judge who made the ruling. Portia even wonders if he would have made the same decision if Trina were white. Curtis vows to protect Trina no matter what, and since she won't leave town, he decides he'll have to do it by driving Heather away. Holly asks Sonny to sell Sidwell's diamonds for her, since she can't move them. He agrees to make some calls, but he wants 30 percent of whatever the take is. Even though Holly asked for confidentiality, he immediately calls Jason to run the situation past him. Lucas and Isaiah discuss their reasons for performing the transplant operation, and Isaiah seems confident that he's the best chance Lulu has at recovery. Anna lets Holly know that in addition to the pilot being killed, Sidwell has been spotted in Miami, so clearly he's on the warpath for something. She guesses that Holly took something from him that she shouldn't have, but Holly lies that she didn't. T.J. confides to Lucas that Molly keeps pushing him away, and the passion with which she defended Ric is the most emotion he's seen from her in weeks. Lucas can kind of, sort of relate to their situation, so he doesn't sugarcoat things or try to convince T.J. that everything will work out. Anna and Robert discuss the Holly/Sasha situation, and he reveals that he knew Sasha was his daughter as soon as she came to his office, because she has his mother's eyes. He's hurt that she doesn't want him to be her father, though he knows it's not because she has anything personal against him. Diane goes straight to Robert after seeing Sonny talking to Holly, but compared to the news Robert has for her, that meeting is pretty unimportant. Having learned from Marshall that Trina has a nice singing voice, Gio encourages her to use music to work through her feelings about Heather's release. Dex is slightly scary while talking about the lengths he'll go to in order to protect Josslyn from Heather.

If Ric really didn't want Molly to turn out like him, he would stop feeding her rivalry with Kristina, because the two of them are going to end up like him and Sonny.

I wish someone would mention that Heather was released from prison before, after making people think she was reformed, or whatever. So why should they believe that this time will be any different?

Honestly, I think Trina's safer at the Quartermaines' than with Portia and Curtis. There are 20 other people in that mansion, including a former Navy SEAL. One scream and half of the residents will come running.

I appreciate that Portia brought up race, because a lot of people thought it was significant in this plotline in the past.

Holly better hope that Sonny doesn't find out about her connection to Sasha before their deal works out. She doesn't know about his affection for Sasha; he'd definitely side with her.

They've dragged out this transplant storyline for so long that Nikolas' liver function is probably normal by now.

Every time they show a Josslyn/Dex sex scene, I feel like they're messing with us. Like, they have to know how overdone they are, right?

October 24th, 2024

It's the morning of Sam and Lulu's surgeries/likely the last time Sam will ever interact with her loved ones, which means that every scene she has with them is, unbeknownst to them, a goodbye. It's painful. Curtis' big plan to deal with Heather is to fly Steven to Port Charles, offer him a ton of money to leave town with Heather, and never worry about her again. Steven wants nothing to do with his mother, as he's said before, but Curtis thinks he has an obligation to her. He leaves the conversation convinced that all his Portia, and Trina's problems have been solved. Ric gives Heather the news that she's going free, then tries to talk to her about things like how she has no money or place to stay or even a ride home. She's too happy to care about the small stuff, and she seems to think that people will just suddenly start being really nice and help her out. Ric suggests that Elizabeth give her a place to stay, then invites himself to move in, too, just in case Heather tries to pull anything. In related news, Ric is delusional. Apparently having been successfully guilted into helping Heather "for Franco's sake," Elizabeth shows up to give her a ride. Both women are surprised when Steven shows up, too. Sonny tells Jason about Holly's diamond offer, and Jason easily puts together that she stole them from Sidwell. There's a lot of money involved, so Sonny wants to go through with it, thinking he can get everything done before Sidwell pops up. Brad buys Lucas a pastry, since he always has to have one before her operates, but Lucas sees his friendly gesture as him overstepping a boundary. He's further annoyed when Portia and Elizabeth imply that he got his job back by using Britt's memory to manipulate Terry. Brad swears he didn't, but...come on. Lucas is softening toward him, so...again, come on. Brennan bugs Carly to get Jason to give him more details about what went down at Sidwell's compound. Jason doesn't think there's anything else to say, and he doesn't see any reason to help Brennan with anything, but he does tell him about the diamonds Holly stole. Elizabeth is suspicious about Portia's sudden 180 about Brad.

Where are Lucky, Tracy, Kevin, and Olivia? Let's pretend they're at the hospital but just weren't on-screen. It would have been nice to see a Sam/Lucky scene, as a nod to the fact that they once dated. But, well, a lot of things would have been nice.

Alexis is wearing an awful lot of eye makeup, and she should do herself a favor and wipe it all off now.

Steven, you don't have to listen to Curtis. Curtis, you're out of line. Steven has no obligation to that woman.

Why didn't Elizabeth tell Steven that Heather was being released?? That makes no sense!

I don't know where all this Brad/Lucas stuff is going, but I don't like it.

October 25th, 2024

The DNA results are in and Robert is Sasha's father. She's torn between being happy to finally meet him after a lifetime of wanting to and the knowledge that the guy she's spent a year dancing around starting a relationship with is her first cousin. She goes to Nina to confess that she lied about her mother being dead and admit that she feels like she's experiencing karma for the stunt she pulled with Nina when she first came to town. Nina thinks she's done plenty to make up for that, so I guess this is all just bad luck. Holly tries to lure Cody out of town with an offer of a very lucrative poker game, but he's now putting Sasha above everything else. He's done with the way he used to live his life, and he wants to stay close to Sasha and his newfound family. Sasha sends Holly away before she spills who they are to each other, but that just means that Sasha will have to be the one to tell him. Diane has a rough day: Alexis keeps bringing up Robert and Holly's relationship, she learns that Heather has been released, and she gets the completely unexpected news that Robert has another daughter. It takes some work, but Steven manages to convince Heather that she needs to leave her past behind by moving away from Port Charles, even if that means not getting to watch Ace grow up. Two months after giving up on tracking down Charlotte and Valentin, Anna promises Laura that she'll succeed this time. Cyrus is all, "Sister, I am here to support you in your time of need," and Laura is all, "I appreciate it, but also, don't go near my daughter again without my permission."

Hmm. Well, maybe Mac and Robert aren't really biologically related?

Diane took a lot of hits today. She should go throw axes about it.

Let's give it up for Steven. He's really taking one for the team here.

I loved Elizabeth covering her mouth so Heather wouldn't see her reaction when she was like, "Thanks for inviting me to stay with you, but I'm leaving."

Why is Cyrus the only member of Laura's family at the hospital?

October 28th, 2024

Cody is angrier than we've ever seen him when Sasha tells him they can't be together because they're actually first cousins. He figures it's just another instance in his life full of never getting a hold of what he really wants. Holly shows up, because she can't take a hint, and Sasha tells her this is the last time they'll ever interact, because Holly is now dead to her. Heather tells a very-relieved-but-hiding-it-well Laura and Alexis that she's moving to Arizona. She asks to see Ace first, and Laura and Kevin grant her permission, partly, as Kevin tells Steven, so Heather won't feel like she has any unfinished business in Port Charles. Despite Elizabeth and Dante's skepticism that Steven can actually drag Heather away, she follows through on her plans to leave, though there's no way this is the last time we'll see her. Drew isn't very popular with blue-collar voters, what with him being super-rich and all, so Nina makes him dress down and go out to a bar to appear like a man of the people, or whatever. Cody's there, drowning his sorrows, and he takes out his frustrations on Drew by punching him, then yelling at him for kissing Willow and sleeping with Nina. Anna can't get Brennan to tell her anything about Valentin and Charlotte's whereabouts since she's the reason they were able to flee the country in the first place. Anna goes to Jason for help, and he brings in Spinelli to do his Jackal thing and find Charlotte. Now that Sonny knows more about the diamonds, he wants new terms for his deal with Holly. She decides to rescind the offer, but when he tells her that Sidwell is in the country and is probably on his way there, she opts to work things out as quickly as possible. In the new arrangement, Jason gets a cut and Sonny gets to hold on to the diamonds for safe-keeping (though he actually gives them to Jason). Dante's still worried that his promise to Rocco about saving Lulu will go unfulfilled, like, buddy, you're concerned about the wrong thing. Speaking of which, Sam has made it through surgery.

Laura and Alexis' disguised eagerness for Heather to leave was perfect.

I thought Heather leaving would be the only good thing to happen this week, but then we got the wonderful bonus of getting to see Drew get punched in the face.

Also, I definitely didn't expect Cody to be the one to expose all the Willow/Drew/Nina stuff.

Anna should at least consider sending Carly in to work on Brennan.

Maybe now the writers will remember that Spinelli and Lulu are friends (since they seem to have forgotten that over the years).

October 29th, 2024

Cody's drunkenness works to Drew's advantage, as no one in the bar really absorbs his accusations. But Elaine recorded the whole fight, and when Ned gets her video of it, he shares it with a delighted Tracy. They scheme together to blackmail Drew into supporting Ned as CEO, and also consider sharing everything with Michael because he'll probably tank Drew's campaign (though Ned would like to have a congressman in his pocket). When Drew gets home, Ned and Tracy tell him they know everything and are going to use it to control him. Drew truly believes there's nothing to worry about, since Cody's an unreliable source, but when Ned informs him that James knows, he realizes he won't be able to discredit a child. Nina makes a beeline to Willow and urges her to come clean to Michael about Drew before he finds out from someone else. Willow realizes that Sasha must have shared her secret with Cody, and that his drunken outburst is about to destroy her family. She goes to tell Michael everything, arriving just as Drew is about to do it so Ned and Tracy can't hold it over his head. Michael responds to the news that his wife kissed his uncle by walking out. Holly offers Sasha a cut of her diamond take, I guess thinking that that will make up for being an absentee parent, a liar, and an all-around self-centered brat. Sasha declines, just as she declines to care when Holly tries to justify her actions by saying that she would have been a terrible parent if she'd raised Sasha on her own. Sasha cares even less when Holly whines that her secrets cost her Robert. In a matter of seconds after Sam wakes up from surgery, Dante proposes. She thinks he's trying to either thank her for being Lulu's donor or convince her that he doesn't still love Lulu, which she wouldn't resent him for. He promises that his only motivation is wanting to spend the rest of his life with her. She accepts, so...yeah. Lucky spent the day getting an emergency passport, though he doesn't say if he was actually going to use it. Laura thinks that his instinct to run away all the time comes from spending his childhood on the move and doesn't have a typical idea of a home. He tells her that while spending the past few years going wherever there was action, he tried to help people along the way. He also tells her a little about his friendship with Isaiah, which it turns out has also been helpful, because Lulu's out of surgery and doing well. Dex takes Cody to the police station, then informs him that Drew isn't going to press charges. Cody wants to solve his problems by leaving town, but Mac convinces him that that won't actually improve his life.

Who among us hasn't tried to cover up a preemptively career-ending scandal but run into a roadblock in the form of a seven-year-old?

How awkward to have a substitute Michael the day his life gets blown apart.

Sigh. I hope Dante kept the receipt for that ring.

"So I'm not grounded?" Heh. That was cute.

October 30th, 2024

Sam shares news of her engagement with Alexis, who has long thought that she and Dante are perfect for each other and sees them as a good example of what a relationship should be. When Jason arrives with Danny and Scout, alarms are going off and Alexis is looking worried. Jason sends the kids away before they can hear that Sam has suffered some as-yet-unexplained complication. Lucas, Elizabeth, and Portia work on her for half an hour, but ultimately she dies. And now I hate everything. Sasha and Michael wake up with huge hangovers and vague memories of running into each other at a bar and going to bed together. She admits that she knew about Willow and Drew, which Michael isn't mad at her for keeping secret. In fact, he seems like he's willing to forgive Willow for a one-time lapse. But when Sasha accidentally spills that there was a second kiss, he gets furious. Sasha tries to defend Willow for being overwhelmed by emotions, blah blah blah, I don't think that's going to fix anything. Drew goes to see Willow (which she and I both find ridiculous), who triples down on her desire for him to leave her alone because she wants Michael, not him. She's also not too happy that he was going to tell Michael everything without letting her know, after spending months cautioning her not to say anything. She's not happy with Sasha, either, since she's the one who told Cody everything, but that's an issue for another day. Blissfully unaware of what's going on at the hospital, Dante tells Rocco that he and Sam are engaged. Rocco isn't outwardly happy for them, as he can't help thinking of Lulu. Dante reminds him that his getting together with Sam and joining their families brought happiness back into their lives. Cody spent the night on Maxie's couch, having been sent over there by Mac because, as Maxie assumes, he knew she would talk some sense into Cody. I'm not sure that really happens, but she does get to try out her new disapproving-but-supportive-stepsister act on him. Portia and Trina are filler, but I'll allow it because Trina no longer has to worry about Heather.

21 years and they kill her off on a Wednesday. Everyone responsible for this sucks.

They can still turn this around, though. Just reveal that, say, Jerry faked her death so he could kidnap her without anyone noticing. (Yes, yes, the S.S. Denial is back on the water. Try the sundae bar!)

Can't wait for Lucas to blame himself for his sister's death. That'll be fun for everyone.

Ooh, imagine if Sasha ends up pregnant.

Willow being mad at Sasha for telling Cody her secret is...I don't even have words. Someone inherited her mother's victim complex.

"Look at this face. People tell me things." Man, I love Maxie.

October 31st, 2024

Alexis rapid-cycles through the five stages of grief while Jason gets stuck in the first one, unable to accept that Sam is dead until he sees her body. Alexis remembers the brief time she got to spend with Sam after her birth, then yells at God for taking her away. Jason has flashbacks about their relationship and tries to figure out where to go from here. Drew advises Willow not to tell Michael about their second kiss, which she objects to because she doesn't want to continue keeping secrets. When Michael comes home, she explains her side of things, deciding to follow Drew's advice and leave out the part about the second kiss. Michael gives her the opportunity to lay everything on Drew, as well as numerous chances to admit to the second kiss. She doesn't, so he tells her he can get past her single indiscretion and move. And then they have sex, which, ??? Drew thinks that giving Cody hush money will fix everything, but Cody has no sympathy for him and won't take the bait when Drew tries to convince him to shut up for Willow's sake. They agree on a payout of $50,000, and Cody gleefully predicts that Drew will wind up doing himself in, something Cody's really excited to see. Sam died of cardiac arrest, which makes sense to no one, including the medical staff. Portia and Elizabeth are committed to investigating what might have happened, while Lucas just thinks he could have done more to save his sister. Michael and Sasha agree to never tell anyone that they hooked up. They also address the situation maturely, acknowledging that they're responsible for their own actions, as much as they'd like to place the blame on Drew. No one has bothered to call Dante, so he spends the episode talking to Chase about his engagement and the family he thinks he and Sam are about to make official. He only learns of Sam's death when he returns to the hospital and overhears Alexis mentioning it.

I HATE EVERYTHING.

I almost broke when Alexis got in the bed with Sam to warm her up, but I thought I'd gotten myself under control. I was totally wrong. If tomorrow's episode has scenes where Dante says goodbye to Sam, I might not survive.

At least they made up for what Sam/Jason fans thought were insufficient final interactions between them.

I need Diane to put Alexis on lockdown and babysit her for the next three or four months so she doesn't drink.

I have less than zero patience for Willow. It's at negative levels.

Hey, Drew, when going into a negotiation where you are the one at the disadvantage, maybe watch your temper.
