Cody stops Cassius from leaving with James, alerting Cassius to the fact that he's been found out and will have to make his escape alone. He warns James that he'll hear a lot of things about "Nathan" that aren't good, but he should always remember that Cassius loved him. Cody checks in with Felicia, who realizes that Anna was right after all. Sidwell wanted to take Ava with him on the run, but after hearing her trash him, he knows she's not going to come willingly. He decides to kill her, since he has no use for her, but Justine and Ethan both interfere. Ethan takes a bullet but is able to get Ava to a storage room to hide. Sidwell is left with just one hostage, Justine, who he uses to lure Sonny to the gallery. Carly stops by the hospital to talk to Lucas, who's busy trying to get Joe to submit to an exam. She overhears Joe putting out an APB on Sidwell and "Nathan" and takes off without talking to her brother. She sneaks into Wyndemere but quickly gets caught after hearing Cullum task a minion with killing Josslyn and Obrecht. Charlotte and Danny set off fireworks on a loading dock, successfully distracting Cullum and leaving Carly in the company of just one minion. Fortunately, there's a fire poker within reach. Meanwhile, Josslyn and Obrecht work together to escape, only to be stopped by a minion. Nina saves Brennan from carbon monoxide poisoning, then makes arrangements for him to be admitted under a fake name in hopes that Cullum won't find out that he's still alive. Sonny won't outright evict Gio, in which case Gio won't agree to move out. It's only when Sonny admits that he still blames himself for Morgan's death that Gio gives in, and that's just because he knows the move won't necessarily be permanent.- Lucas gets some intel from Joe, though he still doesn't know the extent of Britt's involvement in everything that's been going on. He also learns about the saline in the syringe.
It must be really weird to be an actress whose character is taken hostage by a character played by your husband.
Ava: "He shot you in the a%$?" Nathan Dean's inner monologue: "Don't laugh. DO NOT LAUGH."
Josslyn and Obrecht's dynamic was fun.
I hope Josslyn saves Carly from the minion, and Carly gets to see her daughter kick butt.
Of all the things Charlotte and Danny could have done, that was probably the least stupid.
July 2nd, 2026
Cassius saves Carly and gives her the code to Josslyn and Obrecht's door, which they've resecured. Cassius goes after Cullum, who decides to put off his escape when he hears that a WSB helicopter is on its way. He plans to tell them that Sidwell and Cullum were behind everything, and he had to kill Cassius. Carly finally reunites with Josslyn, who quickly ditches her to help Cassius. Both of them get shot, but Josslyn still makes a move for a gun as Cullum tells Cassius that a) Britt never had Huntington's and b) the "medication" Cassius sent her was actually poison. Josslyn kills Cullum just before the helicopter arrives carrying Z, who promises to help her. Sonny agrees to help Sidwell leave town, offering himself up as a hostage in Justine's place. Sidwell would prefer to kill the guy he thinks killed Marco. Sonny informs him that that was Cullum, then antagonizes him until he turns his gun on Sonny. This gives Justine the chance to run and Sonny the chance to grab the gun. Justine stops him from killing Sidwell by threatening to ensure that he goes to prison for it. Sonny reluctantly lets Sidwell live and is rewarded with a makeout session. Anna's doctor decides that her ability to tell the difference between reality and delusion means she can go home. Anna's mostly just relieved that Cassius wasn't able to leave town with James, and that Felicia advocated for her. Unfortunately (for all of us), her delusions aren't completely gone, because she thinks Peter's in her room. Ava tries to help Ethan, who she claims is losing a lot of blood even though it doesn't look that way. He goes in and out of consciousness, and eventually confesses that he's not actually Phoebe's father. Cody calls in Molly to help distract/cheer up James while he tells Tracy what happened. He questions his decision to let Cassius say goodbye to James, but Tracy thinks it was the best of his options.
After this, can we be done with stunt-casting?
Where did the show get a helicopter?
Sonny should have said he would only tell Sidwell who killed Marco after he let Justine go.
Please, no. Not more Peter.
July 3rd, 2026
Z presses Josslyn for details of what happened in the big shootout, since she's (allegedly) the only survivor. She quickly figures out that she's in a position of power – if she tells the truth in her official statement, the WSB will look bad for not having caught on that Cullum was a double agent. She offers to pin everything on Cassius if the WSB will release Jason and Valentin. With Cullum dead, Dante, Lulu, and Rocco are able to come home. Dante admits that he had Britt arrested, claiming it was because he wanted her locked up outside of Cullum's reach. Rocco's furious, but Lulu thinks that Dante did the right thing. She's stunned when Dante tells her that "Nathan" was really Cassius. Molly helps Charlotte and Danny get a meeting with Vaughn, who's back to help sort out the mess Cullum left behind. They have to watch everything they say so they don't incriminate themselves in anything, but Vaughn seems pretty forgiving of the things they happen to know. He also seems sympathetic about their desire to communicate with their fathers, but there's not much he can help them with. Danny's frustrated that he can't prove that Jason didn't shoot Cullum, and it looks like he's going to take that out on Rocco. Carly hopes that now that Sidwell and Cullum have been brought down, Josslyn will be done with the WSB, though she acknowledges that Josslyn hasn't accomplished all her goals there yet. She demands to see Z and tells him she wants her daughter to be released from her job. Britt and Obrecht catch up, but Obrecht is upset about all the secrets Britt kept about Cassius and the project, so it doesn't go well.
Cassius isn't really dead, is he? That's so unsatisfying.
I like that Carly said that the WSB is "totally mercenary" and Josslyn is nothing like them, and five minutes later, Z used the same word to describe Josslyn.
Hey, it's Vaughn! I was wondering if he was ever going to come back.
For Britt's sake, let's hope Josslyn was listening when Cullum told Cassius that she's not sick.

Carly wants Z to fire Josslyn, an idea he basically laughs off. He invites her to go out with him, but all he gets is slapped and yelled at. Just when it looks like her day is going to be unsalvageable, Valentin shows up. Josslyn apologizes to Lucas for manipulating him so she could get access to Wyndemere and Sidwell. He's mad that she's been lying to everyone for so long and doesn't feel like he'll ever be able to trust her again. Josslyn reconnects with Vaughn, now understanding why Brennan didn't want them to be together. He admires how far she's come as an agent and her realistic view on what it means for her life and relationships. Danny confronts Rocco for letting Jason take the blame for Cullum's shooting, calling him a coward and urging him to come forward. Rocco ill-advisedly indicates that while his father always shows up for him, Danny's doesn't do the same for him. Danny goes straight to Brennan to tell him who shot Cullum. Britt asks Dante to help her escape from lockup, but he won't do it even when she tells him that Rocco will hate him. Lucas passes the news along to Britt from Josslyn that she doesn't have Huntington's, but instead of being relieved, she's upset. She emotionally tells Obrecht that all the work she and Cassius have done over the past few years was based on a lie, and she's ruined all her relationships. Obrecht points out that she should be happy that she's not dying. Charlotte tells Lulu what she's been hiding from her about Valentin, though she leaves Carly out of it. Lulu genuinely seems more upset about her eavesdropping on her and Laura than about her lying about being in touch with Valentin for months. Brennan is about to explain to Nina that he may not have what she needs against Drew after all when Vaughn interrupts. He tells Nina that Cassius is dead, and she rushes off to share the news with Britt and Obrecht. In truth, Cassius is alive, and Z is going to use the threat of Josslyn's false statements about the stuff he allegedly did to get him to work for the WSB. Ethan and Sonny are mostly only in this episode to bug Ava, who actually takes them seriously when they ask her to give Ethan a bonus for saving her life. He decides they can call it even, since she's keeping his secret about Phoebe, though it seems that he's thinking of the secret that's actually a lie about him being Phoebe's father. Lucas laments to Ava that, since Britt never needed her "medication," Marco died for nothing. In the midst of all the angst and drama, Rocco and Dante seem okay, so there's that.
In response to Sonny and Lulu's facial expressions when they saw Carly and Valentin making out: Same.
Carly would absolutely not be a good WSB agent. She's never even heard of discretion.
"How's my wife doing?" Okay, that was cute. I would have been okay with them bringing Vaughn back long-term.

Carly begs Josslyn to quit the WSB, fearing that she'll lose another child to violence. Josslyn says that she's fully aware of the risks her job entails, and she's willing to take them because of the good she can do. Carly isn't happy, but she respects Josslyn's decision and won't fight her on it. The same doesn't go for Brennan, who Carly vows to make pay. Charlotte is ecstatic to learn that Valentin has received a full pardon and is back in town for good. Lulu refuses to reinstate shared custody and complains that Charlotte favors her father because he kept her from Lulu for so many years. Valentin warns that she's going to cause more problems in her relationship with Charlotte than he is. Danny tries to keep Rocco's name out of things, but Brennan can't do anything without more information, so Danny gives up Rocco as Cullum's shooter. Even then, Brennan doubts that that will help get Jason freed – in fact, he doesn't think that the WSB will put forth any effort to do anything for him. Tracy and Willow go for another round of bickering, culminating in Willow deciding that Tracy must be the one framing her for the crash. Tracy easily puts together that it's actually Brook. Michael and Jacinda have finally found their consciences and feel bad about possibly breaking up Chase and Brook now that they're forming a family with Phoebe. When Chase accuses Michael of framing Willow for the car crash, Michael tells him not to throw away his wonderful life for Willow. Dante hopes that his family will get a fresh start post-Cullum, which includes more honesty. On that note, Rocco admits that Charlotte told Danny that he shot Cullum. Dante isn't thrilled, but he's not nearly as upset as Charlotte is that Danny told Brennan something she shared with him in confidence. That said, she admits that she probably would have done the same if Valentin were in Jason's position. Gio and Emma are filler.
If everyone now knows about Josslyn being in the WSB, as she said, why isn't anyone talking about it? I feel like that would be the main topic of conversation around town right now.
Once again, Carly's hopes are dashed by the fact that other people have free will and refuse to do things just because she wants them to.
I'm bored with The Tracy and Willow Show. How can I change the channel?
I'm also bored with The Chase and Michael Show. That one should be canceled.
I genuinely forgot that Daisy is Michael's daughter until he mentioned her today.

Carly is as happy to have Valentin back in her house as Sonny is annoyed about it. He tells her that Valentin is the one who messed with his medication, but Carly's willing to let that go since Valentin has changed since then. Sonny is worried about the danger Donna could be in because of Valentin's enemies, but Valentin notes that Sonny puts her at just as much risk. Long story short, Carly's not getting rid of her boyfriend, and Sonny will just have to live with it. Emma, Mac, Felicia, and Gio welcome Anna back to town as she tries to act like everything's fine and she's not hallucinating anyone. She later tells Dante that she blames herself for not vetting Cassius, as if she thought she needed to vet him at all. Justine can't prosecute Sidwell, so she wants Molly to step up. That would mean that she has to skip her book tour, and she's not sure if that's what she wants. Molly suggests that Sonny really saved himself when he protected Justine from Sidwell, since now it would look bad if she ever tries to prosecute him. Portia and Isaiah meet with Ric to discuss bringing a civil suit against Curtis, even if it means making things really awkward. Trina wonders if Curtis knows what's going on, and Kai has to remind her that she's staying out of that whole mess. Martin's also back in town, and Laura lets him know that Sidwell was the reason he got the case he was working on in Reno (which he won, so Martin can't really complain). Curtis' unnamed lawyer has informed him of a plea deal that would have him sentenced to two years in prison, of which he would probably serve eight months. (Now that Willow is looking like the main suspect in the crash, Curtis' ridiculous defense that he was justified in attacking Isaiah doesn't hold up so well.) Jordan helps him decide that it's better to go to trial and gamble on a lighter sentence, or possibly none at all, so he gets the chance to be around for the baby from the beginning. Laura lends a hand by asking Martin to represent him. Lucas got drunk and landed on Elizabeth's couch for the night, and he spends the morning telling her about Britt's surprise health news and why he thinks Marco died for nothing.
Sonny thinks Valentin is the worst choice Carly has ever made in love interests? She got together with Alcazar because she liked the dream version of him! She dated Johnny! She almost married Franco! She did marry Jax!
"Our mutual ex-wife" made me giggle.
It says something that Molly thinks that Sonny only saved Justine because he thought it would benefit him.

Tracy confronts Brook for framing Willow and, even worse, working with Lucy to do it. Brook can acknowledge that the framing might be a mistake, but she won't apologize for wanting to turn Chase against his ex. Meanwhile, Chase questions Lucy about what she told Joe about Willow's whereabouts the night of the crash. He's surprised to learn that Lucy was with Brook that evening, and that Brook has since given Lucy her Deception shares. Sidwell confronts Jordan for giving the police the location of his hideout, since she's the only one who knew it. She reveals that she was undercover the whole time she worked for him. He's more disappointed than upset, since he wanted her to go to Switzerland and retrieve some money for him. He tries to entice her with the offer of burn and scar treatment, but she turns him down. Sidwell mocks her diminished beauty and vows revenge. Willow is running low on Drew's drug, and his tolerance to it is increasing, so she turns to Brennan for help. Brennan tells her and Nina that the evidence against Drew is in his black box, which has gone missing. If they're not willing to kill Drew (they're not), their best bet is to search Wyndemere in hopes that Cullum hid the box there. Elizabeth is shocked to learn that Brennan has completely recovered from his "stroke" in such a short amount of time. She finds it strange that, on top of being struck by the same condition as Drew in the same location, the two of them have had such different outcomes. Lucas is skeptical of her theory that there's some sort of toxin in Drew and Willow's house, but Elizabeth thinks it's worth discussing with Willow, in case she and the kids are at risk. Sonny is worried that Molly will be in danger if she agrees to prosecute Sidwell. Justine argues that she can't withdraw the offer now, or she'll look like she's doing Sonny a favor. He thinks that she wants to end things, but she admits that her feelings for him have grown, so that's the last thing she wants. Martin thinks Curtis would be wise to take the plea deal, since the possibility of Martin getting him acquitted depends on a lot of ifs.
It's really hard to root for Brook anymore. She keeps taking herself down.
A round of applause for Jordan, who not only had Sidwell 100% fooled about her intentions for months, but who didn't blink when he got in her face and threatened her.
Why do I feel like this is going to end with Elizabeth getting injected?
Taking Molly off of Sidwell's case could look like Justine is giving one of Sonny's relatives special treatment, but doesn't offering her the case look the same?

Obrecht asks Anna to help her prove that Cassius wasn't the brains behind Faison's project. Anna's not really in a place to reveal a conspiracy or anything, and not just because she can't provide any evidence that Cullum did anything to her. Plus, the stuff Cassius is accused of doing sure sounds like stuff Faison's son would do. Obrecht tells Anna that she was held in the same room Anna was at Wyndemere, making Anna realize that the things she was told she imagined really happened. Obrecht even draws her a picture of the room to confirm that she was there. Valentin figured out that Josslyn is behind his release, and after learning that she's painting Cullum as a hero and Cassius as a villain, he guesses that she's lying for the WSB. She tells him that she got him released so Carly can't be charged with aiding and abetting him. He's surprised that Josslyn doesn't want to collect on her favor by telling him to stay away from her mother. Josslyn brushes that off, then asks him to deliver a message to Anna. Later, she tells Brennan that she's hoping that Anna will come between Carly and Valentin. Chase asks Brook straight out if she framed Willow, and Brook admits that she did. She's offended when he's more upset about her going after Willow than about her feelings that Willow is trying to steal him back. Brennan tries to dismiss Elizabeth's concerns about a toxin in Willow and Drew's house by lying that he was exposed to a chemical during a WSB activity and just happened to be at the house when it took effect. And no, there's no connection between that and what happened to Drew. Lulu accuses Carly of putting Charlotte in danger by facilitating communication between her and Valentin. She, of course, disapproves of Carly and Valentin's relationship and predicts that it'll end badly, like his relationships always do. Ava tells Ethan what he confessed at the gallery and again suspects that he's scheming against the Quartermaines. He tells her he's trying to protect Phoebe, but he won't say who or what from. Joe asks Britt some questions, mostly wanting to know why she had a syringe of saline in her room. Satisfied that he's finally able to put that final piece in the puzzle, he lets her know that the WSB isn't going to press charges against her, so she's free to go.
Nicely done (as usual), Josslyn.
I have to give Brook credit for telling the truth. Maybe she's actually learned from her past mistakes.
How is the WSB going to keep Obrecht quiet? How have they already not tried to keep her from disspelling Josslyn's "official" story?
Why does Ava care that Ethan's lying about being Phoebe's father? So what if he's plotting against the Quartermaines – she doesn't care about them.

Chase won't apologize for helping Willow when she's needed it, but he does acknowledge that Brook's feelings about being pushed aside for her are valid. Brook in turn acknowledges that framing Willow was a huge mistake and invites Chase to expose her. He decides not to say anything, since the altered trip log isn't enough to condemn Willow. Valentin and Anna catch up, and she's relieved to get more confirmation that the things that happened to her were real. She doesn't mention the fact that she's hallucinating Peter, who encourages her to get to work getting revenge. Jason returns to town, haunted and inexplicably accompanied by a surgeon named Tristan Roberts. Rocco's mad at Gio, and Danny's mad at Rocco, so the three of them being at the pool at the same time gets ugly pretty quickly. Charlotte warns Danny and Rocco that if they don't work things out, they'll lose each other, as well as her. Carly yells at Brennan some more for recruiting Josslyn and tells him that Valentin is a better man than he is. Brennan is more than happy to let her know that Anna is back in town. Laura wants Sonny to join the hospital board, an idea Tracy sternly disapproves of. Elizabeth talks up all the things Sonny has done for GH over the years, convincing Tracy to at least not actively fight his possible appointment. Britt is completely helpless now, I guess, so Lucas lends her a hand. In return, he gets berated.
Anyone who didn't know that this was the show's 16,000th episode must wonder why everyone in town is obsessed with the number 16.
I really thought this was going to be it for Brook and Chase.
Uh-oh. I think the WSB broke Jason.
I'm probably the only person who remembers that Alexis and Julian once used the name Tristan Roberts while role-playing. (Why do I remember that? What's wrong with me?)
Only Britt would call someone's sister a b%$#@, then complain that he wasn't helping her.

Danny acknowledges that Rocco didn't deserve to go through what Jason went through in his place, but he's upset that Jason's actions left him struggling. He's also confused because Jason's release got underway before he told Brennan that Rocco shot Cullum. Willow has noticed that Drew's mobility is returning, so she's desperate to make a move against him. Brennan and Nina go to Wyndemere to look for the black box and run into Charlotte and Valentin. Charlotte is mad at both of them for trying to use her to get to Valentin, and she gives no credit to Brennan for giving Valentin the advice that led to him being freed. Brennan's worried that Valentin now knows that he's looking for something in the house, which will give Valentin the motivation to find it first. While alone with Kai, Drew knocks something over to indicate that he can move. Then he makes it clear that he doesn't want Willow to know. Kai keeps quiet, but Willow puts it together and seems to seriously consider killing Drew. Jordan asks Portia not to side with Isaiah on his and Curtis' problems or help send him to jail. Portia wants Curtis to face the consequences of his actions, while Jordan thinks that she's trying to punish Curtis for choosing Jordan over her. Portia looks uncomfortable through their conversation, and right after Jordan leaves, she experiences baby-related pain. Britt continues being grumpy, this time with Isaiah, then with Tristan, who's rented Britt's former room. Valentin wants Wyndemere back, and Charlotte is eager to live with him again. Dante isn't on board, but Valentin thinks he should be, since it would be better for Charlotte and Lulu's relationship if they got some distance from each other. He also thinks that Dante sees Charlotte as a bad influence on Rocco. Dante later confides to Elizabeth that he feels exactly that way, but he knows better than to try to separate the siblings. Tracy continues opposing Sonny's possible nomination for the hospital board, like, get this woman a plotline ASAP.
Kai being an ally for Drew sounds crazy, and yet...
I'm surprised that Willow still hasn't done anything with the information that Kai may have been in the house the night she shot Drew.
It pains me but I have to side with Portia over Jordan. Curtis' problems are his own fault.
I hope they don't have Jordan go back and end up delivering the baby. That's so cliché.
I assume the prickly introduction means Britt and Tristan will end up together, so I guess that's it for Britt and Jason? Thank God.
Didn't Dante previously think that Danny was a bad influence on Rocco? Dude, your kid needs help.

To probably no one's surprise, Jordan goes back to the house and finds Portia in active labor. Though she calls an ambulance, no help comes right away, so (again, to probably no one's surprise) Portia tells Jordan that she'll have to deliver the baby. Despite objecting at first, Jordan resigns herself to the responsibility and everything goes great. Willow accuses Michael of framing her for being the mystery driver, and of course doesn't believe his denial. He doubts that she's as upset about it as she lets on, since it got her some attention from Chase. Elsewhere in the house, Drew tests out his mobility, which is returning quickly. Wiley and Amelia see him moving, but he swears them to secrecy. Josslyn tells Anna the truth about Cullum and Cassius' actions, and how Cassius was a better person than people think. Still, she's okay with damaging his reputation because he did evil stuff. Anna tries to figure out if Cassius was the mastermind behind everything or just following Cullum's orders. She also warns that the WSB might expect Josslyn to do another favor for them in the future. Nina and Brennan don't make much progress searching Wyndemere, especially after his energy starts flagging. He mentions that the box has a tag on it that can be located via infrared scanner, but he'll have trouble getting his hands on one, since he can't borrow one from the WSB without raising suspicions. Even if he had one, it won't do him any good, because someone else has just snagged the box. Trina's understandably nervous about her showcase, but Gio gives her some good advice, and it seems to go well. Meanwhile, Emma tells Kai that she hopes this rekindles Gio's love for music. Curtis thanks Valentin for helping Jordan the night of the crash and asks if he saw the driver of the other car. Valentin says no, remembering that Danny and Charlotte were also in the area that night. Carly informs Britt that she donated the remainder of her belongings (after the WSB seized some first) and has no interest in helping her, even if, as she acknowledges, Jason would want her to. Britt keeps getting herself into big messes, so she needs to get herself out of them. Britt manages to be nice to Stella, hoping that they'll get to work together again. Stella thinks that Britt has burned too many bridges with the hospital and could be out of luck there.
Of course Jordan delivered the baby. OF COURSE SHE DID.
"Can you stall?" No, Jordan. She cannot stall.
Yeah, Drew, trusting Wiley with a secret is a great idea. He's definitely never spilled anything confidential before.
I was wondering if the fact that Danny and Charlotte were on the road the night of the crash was going to come up again.

Portia and Curtis have a wonderful moment together when she gets to introduce him to their son. Instead of listening to Stella's advice about giving them some space, Isaiah interrupts, then gets iced out. Jordan, meanwhile, gets celebrity status for her role in the delivery. Trina is thrilled to have a little brother, and all of her issues with her parents get shoved aside. Stella hopes that Portia and Curtis use this as a chance for a fresh start and put their focus on their child instead of themselves. Cody somehow gets elected the person who has to tell James that Cassius wasn't Nathan. Felicia and Molly stand around and do nothing while he gets yelled at by a kid who doesn't understand the situation and thinks he's lying. Obrecht tries to pitch in, but in the end, James just turns on Cody. Britt thinks that she and Anna have something in common, as they were both manipulated. Anna disagrees, seeing Britt as selfish for finishing the project, and says she's like her father in the way she preys on people. Obrecht is mad at Josslyn for what she's sure are lies about Cassius' part in Cullum's scheme. Josslyn tries valiantly to convince her that Cassius was a villain (not to mention the one who shot her) and warns her not to try to make waves by going to the press with what she thinks is the truth. In a pleasant surprise, Trina and Gio get offered contracts as a music duo. Emma's worried that Gio's only going along for Trina's sake and not because he actually wants a music career. He tells her that he's not sure what he wants, so he'll use this as a trial period.
I hope they name the baby Henry, Stella's last name.
I have a feeling that Isaiah is going to be in for a lot of disappointment in the near future.
I love how excited Stella is that Jordan delivered the baby.
How absolutely ridiculous that Cody was the one to tell James the truth about Cassius. Parent your child, Maxie. (And I'm sorry but if Kirsten Storms doesn't want to come back right now, they need to recast.)

Sonny meets with Brick to get help driving Valentin out of Carly's life. Brick agrees to find damaging information, but he won't do it behind Carly's life. Trina is understandably upset about all the secrets Josslyn kept from her and isn't sure they can still be friends. Josslyn regrets the distance that's developed between them and is desperate not to lose her best friend. Trina comes up with a solution that will allow Josslyn to keep classified information quiet without lying. Brook wonders if Ava knows who Phoebe's father is from her trip to New York with Alexis. Despite not actually knowing, Ava sounds like she's lying when she says she doesn't. Brook wishes she could talk to the father and confirm that he won't try to get his daughter back before the adoption is finalized. Ava encourages her not to waste energy on something that probably won't happen. Valentin tries to reassure Carly that he wants to be with her, not Anna. Then he reveals that he stole the black box, which he thinks was Cullum's. Lulu catches on that Ethan's interested in Ava and worries that he'll get dragged into something dangerous. Apparently Brennan has had feelings for Nina for a while, and after some chatting about Willow and the lengths Nina would go to for her, they kiss. Molly and Cody are filler up until she tells him she heard him tells James that she loves him, then says she loves him, too.
Yeah, Sonny, Valentin is definitely a bigger threat to Donna than you are.
It would be hilarious if Sonny got the same idea as Josslyn and tried to maneuver Valentin toward Anna.

It's not so much that Ava's dangerous. It's that she makes horrible decisions and drags down the people around her.

Lulu tells Sonny and Ric that Rocco shot Cullum, and she's worried about the news spreading. Ric thinks that since Jason was the only other witness and isn't going to say anything, there's nothing concrete to tie Rocco to the shooting, so there's nothing to worry about. Lulu and Sonny commiserate over Valentin being in Carly's life, but Sonny thinks that his plan to get Valentin out of town will work. He's wrong: Brick advises Valentin to leave town, but he's not very convincing, and Valentin really has no incentive to go. Ezra tries to delay talking to Joe about Sidwell until he's conferred with Laura, knowing that even if he says he was forced to help Sidwell, he'll have to incriminate himself. He begs Laura to lie that he was part of the sting she pulled with Sonny and Lucas. She refuses, but she does help him convince Molly to consider giving him immunity in exchange for his testimony. Molly ends up agreeing, so I guess that's the end of Ezra's redemption arc. Brennan suspects that Nina only slept with him to get him to help find the black box, even though he already said he would. She's offended, but she also doesn't want this to go any further, since it's better to keep things professional for their "alliance." Scout asks Tracy to let her use the lake over the summer so she can train for an open-water swim to raise money for breast cancer research. Tracy guesses that there's more going on, since this isn't a conversation that needed to take place in person. She's right, as Scout wants her to let Drew on the property to watch her swim. Tracy reluctantly agrees, and Brook praises her for demonstrating that she has a heart. Charlotte's sick of Lulu's attitude toward Valentin and wants to move in with Carly. Carly diplomatically says no and encourages her to work things out with her mother. Also, Carly learns that Jason was briefly back in town and didn't get in touch with her. Willow asks Chase to go to D.C. with her for some dumb reason. He wisely declines, and she catches on that she should keep her distance a little.
So Brick's strategy was...ask?
I actually laughed at Brennan saying that he hooked up with Nina because he wanted to see how far she would take things.
Of course Carly made Jason's return about herself. Why wouldn't she?

Brick tries to convince Carly that being with Valentin is a big mistake. She won't listen, of course, so he gives her a flash drive containing something that will help her get rid of him if she ever decides she wants to. Lulu shoots down Charlotte's request to move in with Carly, then asks Anna for advice on parenting a child after a long time apart. The other issue is that Rocco and Charlotte aren't getting along, so Rocco doesn't really want to live at Lulu's house, either. Dante's like, "I guess you can either let Charlotte live with Valentin or make the kids suck it up and work things out." Sonny asks Justine if Valentin has any pending charges or if, hypothetically, Sonny might need to do something that will lead to him leaving town. Justine really doesn't want to be a part of anything illegal or anything involving her secret boyfriend's ex. Brick lets Sonny know that he thinks Carly will end up taking care of things on her own. Somehow, Stella and Elizabeth have been chosen to help decide if Britt should get her job back. There are a lot of strikes against her, but they acknowledge that she's great at her job, and the way she handled Phoebe's delivery was especially impressive. Ultimately, Britt gets her job back, on a probationary basis, and with a lot of extra responsibilities. For some reason, they include being the equipment manager for the hospital's softball team, which will put her in Tristan's orbit, since Lucas has enlisted him to join it. Valentin asks Laura to help him get Lulu to go easier on him. Laura says she'll only help him if he doesn't trash Lulu to Charlotte. Anna returns to work and tries to catch up on all the big stuff she's missed, including Cullum's shooting. Laura happens to be there when Joe tells her that he can't find any of the evidence. Charlotte confides to Gio that she thinks Lulu hates her. Gio gives her a pep talk before his attention gets grabbed by Emma.
Carly, why would Valentin need to pick out a fake mustache? He still has that horrible real one.
What does Valentin plan to do for a living? Please tell me he isn't going to try to get ELQ back. I'm not putting up with that again.

Curtis and Isaiah tiptoe around each other while resenting each other's roles in the baby's (Desmond) life. Isaiah tells Britt that he wishes Curtis would just take the plea bargain, but he looks forward to Curtis facing punishment. Meanwhile, Stella admires Curtis for doing what's best for Desmond rather than himself, and he tells her how much her guidance has always meant to him. Valentin figures that Brennan wants the black box, since there was no other reason for him to be at Wyndemere. He wants to trade it to Brennan for the release of his frozen accounts. Carly worries that once Brennan has it back, he'll just kill Valentin. Anna thinks that Cassius shot Cullum so he could reap all the benefits of their project on his own. Brennan tells her she's wrong but won't reveal who the shooter was. The question neither can answer is what happened to the evidence. Kai reconnects with Quinn, who seems to have matured and wants to make things right with him and Trina. However, he could also be secretly obsessed with Trina. Or that could be Simon, the music exec who reveals that he wants to sign Trina and Gio as solo artists rather than a duo. With Brook's help, they decide that they want to stick together or drop the whole thing. Simon agrees but later tells someone that Trina's the real star. Dante helps Lulu decide that Charlotte should get to choose which parent to live with, even though it'll obviously be Valentin. Jordan asks Michael for information on the clinic where his burns were treated, since declining Sidwell's offer means she'll have to navigate that on her own.
If Curtis and Isaiah can just avoid each other for 18 years, everything will be great. (Factoring in a likely SORAS, it won't even be 18 years.)
I can't believe Isaiah didn't make a comment about how Britt is suddenly being nice to him.

Anna is disappointed in Chase for the actions that got him demoted but wants to give him the chance to redeem himself. She tasks him with finding anything he can about Cullum's shooting and Britt and Cassius' dealings with him. Laura warns Dante that Anna is looking into the missing evidence from Cullum's shooting. Dante admits to destroying it to, a decision Laura thinks was reasonable. Dante then tells Anna that the evidence went missing on his watch and he takes full responsibility for it. Anna surprises him by saying that they might just let the case go cold. But while talking to Peter, she reveals that she knows that Dante must have destroyed everything to protect Rocco. Peter thinks she should be more focused on Britt and Cassius, and how they're evil like he and Faison were. Scout starts her cross-lake practice, which is really just an excuse for Drew to be around people like Alexis and Michael as he continues to recover. Willow is growing more desperate to control him, and she's not pleased to learn that Nina hooked up with Brennan, which could compromise their alliance. Nina seems to be considering murder again. Spinelli got a job in Australia, so he, Maxie, and the kids are all moving. Cody worries about saying goodbye to James before they leave, since James isn't currently speaking to him, but it turns out not to be too hard to get him past that. Maxie sold her Deception shares to Michael, displeasing Lucy, who thinks that she'll have an uphill battle having her voice heard while working with three Quartermaines. Michael declares that he'll only be doing what's right for the company, and he quickly gets Brook to team up with him. Sonny basically tells Rocco that if he ever wants to talk about his feelings about having shot someone, Sonny's there for him. He later frets to Laura about the psychological repercussions of that kind of experience. Rocco and Charlotte fight over her support of Danny's decision to rat Rocco out to Brennan. He spits out that Valentin will probably commit a crime sooner or later. Also, Charlotte really needs a hobby or something, so Emma can have alone time with Gio.
Willow should really be more worried about the potential legal ramifications if Drew recovers.
I love that Willow almost immediately clocked that Nina slept with Brennan.
One actress won't come back, so they're writing out an entire family. Ridiculous.

Brennan questions Britt about the black box, which she knows nothing about. He lets Willow know that the evidence against Drew is gone, then offers to get her and the kids out of the country. Willow immediately passes the news along to Nina, extending an invitation for her to join them. Instead, Nina decides to kill Drew. He reveals that he can speak, which probably makes her feel more confident that shoving him in the lake is the right move. Dante asks Chase if he would be okay with bringing in Willow for questioning, since Ezra mentioned her name in connection with Sidwell. Chase thinks this is a test, though he acknowledges that Willow would probably be more likely to cooperate if he were involved. Dante tells him that Anna wants him to regain his detective title and wants them to be partners again. The two of them finally start setting aside the issues they've had since Willow's trial. Chase shows up at Willow's office just as she's about to go on the run. Alexis reconnects with Valentin, figuring it's only a matter of time before he gets himself in legal trouble again. He tells her he's eager to get back his assets, which he plans to do through the WSB. Brennan tasks Josslyn with finding the black box, which she quickly realizes is his. She's curious about the contents but says she knows that if that's classified, there must be a good reason. Before she can start her new assignment, Valentin comes by to announce that he has the box. Danny and Jason return from their road trip and start trying to mend fences with Drew so Danny and Scout can spend time together. Jason thanks Rocco for saving him and Britt, and promises to continue taking responsibility for Cullum's shooting if Rocco ever gets tied to it. He urges Rocco to find a way to let go of the burden of what he did. Elizabeth bugs Willow again about getting Drew communication equipment. Willow makes up an excuse about not wanting to address marital issues that way, but eventually agrees to get the ball rolling. Britt hasn't even returned to work yet and she's already annoying Elizabeth by being really late. Lucas somehow gets dragged into the middle of things, and when Britt is a jerk to him yet again, he tells her to stop acting like a victim and pull herself together.
I love the timing here – how if Nina waited five minutes, she'd probably learn that Valentin has the box and that Brennan can get it back. Instead...murder!
Rocco's going to learn pretty quickly how many people in this town have killed or almost killed someone.
I'm glad Chase and Dante are finally working things out, because Chase's attitude was really bugging me.
Two hours late on her first day back at work?? It's like Britt wants to be fired.

Nina takes her time on the dock before rushing off to see Brennan. By the time she gets to his office, he's agreed to Valentin's deal and gotten back the evidence against Drew. They rush back to the lake, where Gio tells them that he found Drew. To their shock, he adds that Drew is alive. Willow asks Chase to pretend he couldn't find her, which, of course, he won't do. He urges her to go talk to Molly and Dante so she can get it over with. She does, and though things start out civil, with her pretending that her dealings with Sidwell were all professional, she starts feeling like she's being accused of something. She shuts down the questioning, which makes Molly and Dante suspicious (let's say more suspicious, since Molly isn't convinced that she didn't shoot Drew). Willow finally gets home to prepare to flee the country with the kids, only to find Drew waiting for her. Jason and Britt reconnect, so...it looks like that's back on. She feels bad about being horrible to people and that Marco died because of her, and she doesn't know what to do now, and for some reason, Jason doesn't suggest that she, like, try being a better person. Ethan asks Ava if she told Brook anything about Phoebe's father during their recent conversation. Ava says she didn't, since she doesn't know who the father is, then bugs Ethan to clue her in. He refuses, since the guy is dangerous and Ethan doesn't want Ava on his radar. She promises that she's not going to say anything about his part in all this, as she thinks Phoebe is with the parents she should be with. Valentin suspects that Josslyn got him released from the WSB to thank him for his part in saving her life. He's wrong. Brook and Gio are mostly filler as they hang out with Phoebe and talk about music. Brook and Chase are also filler as he tells her about his recent Willow encounters and reinforces his commitment to his family.
Imagine if Danny had been the one who saved Drew.
Shoutout to Drew's physical therapist, since he's able to walk after months of not doing it.
How does Nina plan to explain all this? She left Drew on the dock, he was missing when she came back, and then she...went to talk to Brennan? Huh?

Drew is eager to get revenge on Willow and let the world know what she did to him. Just as things are about to get violent, Nina and Brennan learn from Gio that Drew is at home, and they rush over to save Willow. Brennan threatens to expose Drew's misappropriation of funds, but Drew is fine with serving a little time as long as he can take Nina and Willow down with him. Brennan clarifies that he'll go to prison for decades, and Willow piles on by telling him how heartbroken Scout will be. Ultimately, Drew agrees to grant Willow a divorce and let her keep his job as long as they both keep quiet about the things they've done. Still, Drew is planning to get revenge of some kind. Danny and Rocco tentatively make peace, but it doesn't last long, as Danny still wants to do reckless things while Rocco doesn't. Again, Charlotte chooses Danny over Rocco, but Rocco isn't the odd man out, since Scout sticks with him. Emma objects to Josslyn's job with the WSB, knowing how the agency broke Anna. She tries to drum up support from Trina, as if Trina's going to tell Josslyn not to do something she wants to do. While the other two hang out with Gio, Josslyn makes a business call. Marshall visits to meet Desmond and ask questions about Portia and Isaiah's living arrangements. He makes it clear that he'll always side with Curtis, but he won't hold Curtis and Isaiah's problems against Isaiah. Carly and Sonny reunite with Jason, and Carly learns that Rocco was the one who shot Cullum.
I already miss not having to hear Drew's voice. I bet Cameron Mathison misses not having to learn any dialogue.
Oh, so Drew's a villain villain now.
Drew was home for half an hour before Willow got there, but he didn't dry off or change clothes? Drama queen.
Rocco needs to learn quickly to let Danny learn his own lessons. You are not your brother's keeper and all that.

Drew shocks Elizabeth and Felicia by showing up at the hospital almost completely recovered. Elizabeth has a lot of suspicions about his sudden improved condition and even more sudden split from Willow. Felicia advises her to let it go, but there's no way that's going to happen. Willow asks Alexis to represent her in her divorce from Drew, but Alexis doesn't want to risk ticking him off now that he's back in control of her access to Scout. It turns out not to matter, since in Drew's eyes, the time Alexis let Danny and Scout spend together over the past few months violated Danny's restraining order, and he's going to revoke Alexis and Molly's time with Scout. Alexis is furious that he's not more grateful to her for looking after his daughter, and she taunts that sooner or later, he'll be the victim of another attempt on his life and will need her help again. Scout finally learns of Drew's change in circumstances and is the only person who's totally happy about it. Gio informs the Quartermaines of Drew's status, leading Tracy to declare that Drew is barred from the property again. Ned, Olivia, and Jason are all on board, but Gio objects, wanting them to give Drew a second chance. Surprisingly, Danny also objects, since he doesn't want to interfere in Scout's relationship with her father. Tracy backs down, agreeing to let Drew on the property as long as he's with Scout. As soon as he learns about Drew's recovery, Michael speeds to Willow and announces that he's going to seek full custody of the kids. She tells him that they're splitting up, and it turns out that Michael was right about how Drew shouldn't be around the kids. Instead of just leaving it at that, Willow now wants 50/50 custody, and she's willing to go to court to get it. Trina and Kai suspect that Willow tried to drown Drew and that he didn't go the police because he's blackmailing her. Trina urges Kai to resign so they can be done with Drew, but he wants to make sure that Drew and Willow's toxicity doesn't harm Wiley and Amelia. Trina considers helping Michael keep the kids from them by telling him that Willow shot Drew. Nina appreciates how much Brennan has helped her but doesn't get why he's doing it. He tells her that his official story for the WSB is that he's helping Willow, because she's been so good to the bureau, but the real reason is that he wants to repay Nina for saving him from Cullum. Ava and Ethan slept together, and he seems to want more, which she doesn't get.
Willow is way too cocky considering that her freedom and reputation are solely dependent on Drew keeping his mouth shut.
I assume that part of the reason Martin was on today was to witness Alexis saying that someone will likely go after Drew again, so that when it inevitably happens, he can testify about it.
Gio, Drew can have a second chance when he earns one. Now shh, grown-ups are talking.
Ethan and Ava wound up in bed together a lot sooner than I expected.
I like that we're going back to how much Kai and Trina know.

Anna and Jason reconnect and discuss their recent hardships. He's sure that Britt had nothing to do with her abduction, and he doubts that Cassius did, either, but Anna thinks that only someone who knew Faison could have imitated him so well. Peter urges her to get justice by killing Britt. Stella tells Tracy that as much as she wants to support Curtis, she can't buy his theory that Isaiah was the mystery driver. She thinks he's making a mistake in not taking the plea deal, and she hates the thought of sitting through his trial. Marshall also thinks that Curtis should take the plea deal, even though it means losing time with Desmond. He can't use his fear of Isaiah taking his place as an excuse, since no matter what he does, Isaiah will be in Desmond's life. Despite Marshall and Stella's fair points, Curtis has tunnel vision when it comes to his new son. Michael warns Brook that Willow's getting a divorce, which means she's free to pursue Chase. He shares the news with Tracy as well, but Tracy thinks that, with Phoebe's adoption just hours away, there's nothing to worry about. Brook probably feels okay about the whole thing, too, since Chase hasn't even talked to Willow about the end of her marriage and had no idea about that development. Serena comes to town, supposedly because she wanted a break from saving the whales, but really because Lucy asked her to. It has something to do with Lucy's desire to get Deception back from the Quartermaines. Ava may enjoy flirting and having sex with Ethan, but she's hesitant to take things any further. However, she confides to Trina that after being burned by Ric and Sidwell, she's up for something totally different. Trina's response is basically, "Go get yours." Ethan is blindsided when a guy named Hudson shows up at the Metro Court pool. Isaiah is eager for Curtis' trial to get underway so he can face consequences for his actions. Britt advises him to tone down his anger so he doesn't risk the jury siding with Curtis. Brennan is keeping tabs on Tristan, who's involved with the WSB in some way and isn't happy about it.
Oh, no, Anna might try to kill Brook. How horrible.

What Michael needs to do is find a guy to steer toward Willow in hopes that she'll lose interest in Chase.

Ethan's reaction to seeing Hudson just solidifies my confidence that he's Phoebe's father (which I've suspected pretty much from the second they announced him as a new character). The timing is perfect, since the adoption papers are supposed to be signed soon.

Whoever Hudson is, his presence in Port Charles leads Ethan to decide to flee town immediately. Lulu tries to talk him into staying, warning that Sonny won't be happy to be abandoned without warning. Ethan says he has to keep a promise to someone, and she agrees to go to bat for him. Hudson learns from Ava that Ethan is in town, but when he tries to confirm Ethan's address, he discovers that Ethan has already moved on. Jason gives Britt a heads-up that Tristan has connections to the WSB. She thinks the bureau planted him to keep an eye on her, and she can't stop herself from confronting him. Tristan tells her that he used to work at a WSB medical facility, but that's the extent of his involvement. He thinks her paranoia makes her a good candidate for therapy. Drew has a tantrum after Danny spills a drink on him, and Brook calls him out for his behavior. They bicker about the Quartermaines and who's more devious, until Drew vows to take the family down. Joe sees Dante and Elizabeth joking around with each other and assumes that they're a couple. Lucas thinks that's a wild idea, at least until he gives it more thought. While Dante gives Elizabeth softball pointers (which Ric sees, of course), Joe and Lucas discuss their respective living arrangements, most likely laying the groundwork for the two of them to become roommates. Sonny's happy to hear that when Sidwell inevitably goes to prison, his assets and properties will be up for auction, which means Sonny can get his piers back. He decides to ask Jason to do the bidding, but first he needs Jason and Ric to call a truce so they can work together. Ric is okay with that, while Jason has a harder time leaving the past in the past. It doesn't really matter, though, because he announces that he can't work for Sonny anymore. Valentin happily tells Carly that he got his money from Brennan, though he kind of wishes he'd offered the black box to Nina instead, because she clearly wanted the contents and might have paid more for it. Next Valentin hopes to get Wyndemere back, though Carly's too spooked by it to agree to visit him there. Emma's a little annoyed that Anna didn't tell her about Josslyn working for the WSB, but she understands why that wasn't possible. Anna assures her that her family comes first and she's fully done with the WSB. She resists Peter's encouragement to kill Britt and decides to ask Valentin for his input on who was behind what happened to her.
Let him make a scene, Brook! I mean, sure, protect Danny, but let Drew make a fool of himself.
