Laura meets with Ezra for her next instructions from Sidwell, which involve approving a bunch of helipads on Spoon Island and in town. Laura tries to turn Ezra against Sidwell, but he tells her to just suck it up and give Sidwell what he wants. Charlotte looks after Ace during the meeting, and they run into Sidwell and Marco. Sidwell tries to charm her, which doesn't work, so he advises her to tell Laura to keep an eye on Ace, since children his age could easily wander off or get hurt. Laura takes this as the threat it's clearly meant to be. Alexis decides to change her trial strategy and try to paint Michael is a more likely suspect than Willow. Kristina is predictably and understandably upset when she finds out, and she accuse Alexis of trying to pin something on Michael that he didn't do. Alexis reminds her that their relationships with Scout are at stake, and while Michael is an adult who can defend himself, Scout is a child who can't. Alexis also tells Kristina not to warn Michael that he's her new focus, but Sonny has already done so. He predicts that Michael will lose his cool on the stand and say horrible things about Willow, which will later negatively affect the kids. Michael doesn't really care, as long as he does what he can to keep them away from Drew. Sidwell is still considering cutting Drew loose, knowing that if Willow gets convicted, Drew will never get reelected, if he even makes it to another election now that he could be facing blackmail charges. After encountering Charlotte, Sidwell debates using her to get Valentin involved in Faison's last project. Curtis and Jordan agree to work on not making the same mistakes they did in the first relationship, which mostly means being honest with each other. But he's fine with her not being 100 percent open with what she does for Sidwell, which is probably a good idea. Molly and Cody want to spend the day together, but they have to put their plans on hold because of James (because of course). He asks if they're dating, and while Cody says yes, Molly says no. Dante and Justine prepare themselves for Alexis' new trial strategy and the spotlight it puts on the PCPD for not pursuing Michael as a suspect.
If I were Laura, I would have been suspicious of Charlotte's eagerness to take Ace out.
So how, exactly, did Sidwell earn Ezra's loyalty? I get the impression that he made a threat of some kind and Ezra quickly learned to fall in line.
Ick, Alexis is basically making Kristina choose between Michael and Scout.
Kristina would absolutely warn Michael about Alexis' strategy, no matter what it meant for Scout, so lucky for her that Sonny beat her to it.
I'm sorry, did Michael compare Drew to Deke? Come on. Drew's a sleazeball, but he's not violent.
Like I said, everything always has to be about James.

The trial resumes with Dante admitting that he turned Michael in for killing Claudia, then got his sentence commuted because it was too hash. Ezra then testifies that he was with Jacinda at the time of Drew's shooting, though Justine might have swayed the jury by pointing out that he has no proof. Kristina gives Jacinda a bunch of money and urges her to leave town instead of taking the stand. Jacinda agrees that it's better for her to flee than have her alibi torn apart under oath, but she makes the (gigantic, stupid) mistake of going to the courthouse to talk to Michael instead of running while she has the chance. She gets pulled into the courtroom and is asked straight out if she was with Michael at the time of the shooting. Laura asks Kevin to take the job in Dublin after all and take Ace with him. Kevin doesn't want to leave her behind, but Laura thinks it would be worse for her to leave. She's too useful to Sidwell to think that she's a risk, and she doesn't want to leave Sonny to deal with their shared mess on his own. Danny helps Charlotte evade her police detail so she can sneak back into Carly's house to see Valentin. Though he's happy to see her, he knows it's a bad idea for her to come see him, and he convinces her to go about her life as usual. When she tells him that Sidwell has been making not-so-vague threats, he decides it's time to leave. Meanwhile, Charlotte tells Danny that she wants to do something to help Valentin, and Danny offers to assist. Curtis wants Portia to have the paternity test done right away, but she wants to wait until it's safer for the baby. He then asks Britt about it, and Isaiah intervenes, which is exactly the wrong move. Britt's basically like, "I don't care about any of your drama; I'm doing whatever Portia wants." Emma's getting concerned about Anna's radio silence, so she asks Brennan to try to get in touch with her. Carly suggests that Anna is working with Valentin and possibly even helped him escape. Brennan doubts that, but at least he's still totally clueless about what Carly's doing behind his back.
Jacinda. Girl. Why did you go the one place you were trying to avoid??
Where did Kristina get all that money for Jacinda? I guess the same place she got the money to pay Cody to flirt with Ava.
It's probably good that Alexis and Dante aren't in-laws. Family gatherings would be reeeeeeally awkward from now on.
I know Justine made the point that, by turning Michael in, Dante was making sure he took responsibility for his actions, but when he testified that he convinced the judge to commute Michael's sentence, he admitted to getting his brother preferential treatment. Not exactly the message Justine wants the jury to get.
Of course they're going to drag out the paternity mystery longer.
"He keeps pressuring me to have the paternity test." He brought it up one time, Portia. That said, he shouldn't have asked Britt about it. Knock it off, Curtis. Also, what did you mean when you said that if the baby's yours, they won't be subject to whatever Portia and Isaiah end up doing? Like, you can't stop them from getting married.

Jacinda has no choice but to testify that she was with Ezra at the time of Drew's shooting. Then a bluff orchestrated by Suzanne gets Tracy to admit that she saw Michael outside Drew's house. Michael handles his time on the stand perfectly, expressing his hatred of Drew without losing his cool and confessing that he was at the house but didn't go in. He claims he got a call from Wiley just as he was about to, but hearing the ringtone he uses for his son made him realize he was making a mistake. Though Michael swears that he didn't shoot Drew, Elizabeth testifies that he had access to her house and was alone there long enough to leave the gun in Willow's room. Trina and Kai seize on what Michael said about his Wiley-specific ringtone and suspect that that was what they heard right after Drew's shooting. Valentin is concerned that either Sidwell or Brennan will kidnap Charlotte to lure him out of hiding. Carly won't accept that Brennan might stoop that low, but Valentin thinks that if he'll use Josslyn, he'll have no problem using Charlotte, too. Despite his fears about Sidwell, Valentin considers working with him, since at least he has the resources to take Brennan down. Carly was going to kick Valentin out to ensure she doesn't tank her own life by helping him, but now she thinks he should stay, since he doesn't have any better options. Dante finally accepts that Michael might have shot Drew and framed Willow. He confides to Nathan his feelings of guilt over Michael's prison sentence years ago and believes that his assault there changed him into a person capable of murder. Nathan tells Lulu that Charlotte went to the Quartermaines' instead of an after-school activity. Charlotte comes clean, willing to admit to not disclosing her change in plans because she hasn't been busted yet for going to see Valentin. The stop at Lulu's house comes after a visit to a crime scene, where Nathan picked up some possible evidence that he left in his car. Dante points out that that screwed up the chain of custody, which Nathan chalks up to being rusty at police work instead of acknowledging that he's spending too much time with Lulu. Tracy laments having to expose Michael on the stand when she was trying so hard to protect him. Lulu helps her realize that Alexis fooled her into full disclosure, which just adds insult to injury.
Maybe all of Alexis' clients should withhold things from her. She's lawyering better than ever right now.
Who would have thought that Suzanne would have such a big impact on the trial?
Drew's face gets more and more punchable every day.
Kai said originally that that ringtone was Drew's for Scout. So what makes him and Trina so sure that it was actually Michael's? They're basing a big accusation on something pretty flimsy.
I can't believe Valentin went from "this guy is a threat to my daughter" to "I should team up with this guy" in, like, ten minutes.
January 7th, 2026
Trina tries to shut down Kai's desire to keep digging into Drew's shooting, since exposing Michael would hurt Josslyn. Kai doesn't want to sit by and possibly let an innocent woman go to prison, so he suggests that they try to get proof that Michael was the shooter, then decide what to do with it. Trina asks Gio if he knows anything about Michael's ringtone for Wiley, for some reason thinking that's something Gio would know. Gio won't get involved unless Kai and Trina tell him more about what they're up to. They won't do that, but Trina changes his mind by telling him that they're on a quest for truth, something both of them have had hidden from them. Alexis is ready to rest her case in court, but Drew and Willow both want to testify. Alexis is able to talk Willow out of it, but Drew insists, and Alexis can't really do anything to stop him. Tracy and Lulu figure out that someone must have tipped Alexis off about Michael's alibi, probably after hearing him and Tracy talk about it at the mansion. Tracy realizes that that means the tattler could be someone in her family. Their top suspect is Chase. Tracy bugs Martin again about getting the Quartermaines' things back from Drew, but Martin says he's done all he can. Tracy threatens to have him arrested, and Laura won't step in, so Martin will have to try again. He's not too invested in helping Tracy, though, and he knows he's already ahead in their ongoing battle – he's the one who sent Alexis the anonymous note. Michael's frustrated with the turn the trial has taken, and Kristina doesn't make things any better when she admits that she knew the direction Alexis was going to steer things. Michael has to admit that he looks like a good suspect. Also, he doesn't appear to be upset with Jacinda for not protecting him. Ezra seems to think that Jacinda has actual feelings for him, and now that their "relationship" has been exposed, they might as well be together. Jacinda plays along, then takes off the first chance she gets. Dante isn't sure that he's been objective enough about Michael's possible involvement in Drew's shooting, so he asks Nathan to look over everything. Nathan gives some of the stuff to Molly, so I guess that's two sets of eyes reviewing it all. Dante tells Lulu that he can no longer trust his own instincts after ruining his relationships with his sons and possibly mishandling the shooting investigation. Lulu encourages him instead of telling him that, yeah, he's been handling things badly and needs to knock it off. Laura tells Martin that she sent Ace away with Kevin for his safety, but she pretends it's because of Valentin instead of Sidwell.
Of all the people to enlist, Trina chose Gio? Josslyn would be much more likely to know about the ringtone.
This "simple phone call" still won't prove anything. And it's not like Kai and Trina can say anything about it without outing themselves as being in the house that night.
"You know this is weird, right?" Heh. Thanks, Gio.
Drew's going to make a huge fool of himself, and I can't wait. Justine is going to object to everything he says about Michael.
Hmm, turns out Ezra is delusional. I didn't see that coming. Thank God Jacinda left – I was expecting her to end up dead in Ezra's bed.
January 8th, 2026
Drew's demand to testify comes back to bite him as he can't keep his temper under control. He rants about Michael not deserving all the things he has and not being able to handle losing one of them when Drew stole Willow from him. He vows to take Wiley and Amelia from Michael, referring to them as his and Willow's kids, and just generally sounds completely unhinged. Alexis things he might have tanked the whole case, so she puts Willow on the stand in an attempt to turn things around. This proves to be a great move, as Willow spins her relationship with Drew as solid and makes it sound like she had no motive to shoot him. While she testifies about never seeing Edward's gun, not being sure where she drove that night, and believing that Michael set her up, flashbacks show that she's committing perjury – she was, indeed, the shooter. Gio goes to the Quartermaines' to play video games with Wiley, coming up with an excuse for Wiley to call Michael so Kai and Trina can hear his ringtone. To their surprise, it's not the one they heard after the shooting, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," and according to Michael, it's one he's had since he was in Germany. As they puzzle over who the shooter might be, Wiley calls Willow and inadvertently give them they answer, as her ringtone for him is "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." Brook bugs Dante about Chase's suspension, but Dante stands by the decision. He does admit that Chase might have been right about Willow being innocent, though. Kristina frets to Sonny about Alexis' trial strategy, but Sonny's pretty calm about it. Brook thanks Sonny for giving Gio the violin and tells him that things between her and Gio have thawed a lot.
I've spent all this time thinking Willow was innocent, and now I have to do something I hate: admit I was wrong.
I think it would have been more interesting if they hadn't shown any of the flashbacks of Willow from the day of the shooting. Then Kai and Trina hearing the ringtone would have had a bigger impact.
Speaking of which, all they had to do was say to Michael, "I didn't know you could assign a special ringtone to someone. Can you show me?" I mean, they got the answer they were looking for, but they could have gotten there a lot faster.
Curtis is reeeeeeally unlucky that Willow shot Drew the same night he was plotting against Drew.
So can we assume that Willow returned the gun after she used it, and then Michael planted it to frame her, without realizing that he wasn't framing her after all?
January 9th, 2026
Kai and Trina go over all the evidence and come to the conclusion that Willow was the shooter. Trina wants to go to the police, but Kai reminds her that they were committing crimes during the shooting, so they'd be facing jail time. However, they can't do nothing because if Willow gets acquitted, she can never be charged with the shooting again. Ultimately, they decide to go talk to Alexis. Carly worries that if Willow is acquitted, Michael will be the next suspect. Jason remains confident that he's innocent. Drew and Willow are at the same restaurant as them, and seeing Carly reminds Willow of being turned away from Wiley when she went to see her kids after the aborted wedding. Drew apologizes for that mess, and Willow pretends she's put it all behind her. Her complaints about Carly drive Drew to go over and taunt her, but she and Jason don't take the bait. Drew crows that he and Willow are going to get custody of the kids and keep Carly from seeing them. Carly still mostly keeps calm, only throwing a drink in his face. Jacinda apologizes to Michael for not telling him that she was with Ezra the night of the shooting. She didn't want to keep it from him, but she was afraid that if he knew, he wouldn't want to be with her. Michael gets over it quickly and talks Jacinda into staying in town so they can continue seeing each other. Laura tells Sonny that she wants to use Sidwell's apparent interest in Ava to their advantage. Sonny knows that that interest is because of him, and Laura realizes that it makes Avery a target. She regrets pulling Sonny into her mess, but he thinks that if she'd gone to the police instead, she'd be the #1 suspect in Dalton's murder. Laura confides that she wanted to call Luke that night, and now she knows how he felt when he was being squeezed by the mob. Brad isn't happy to learn that Britt was with Jason on New Year's Eve, and he cautions that Jason will just leave her heartbroken again. Britt vows not to let that happen. Tracy confronts Alexis for tricking her into incriminating Michael, but Alexis is completely unapologetic about that or about doing anything she can to keep a relationship with Scout. Tracy laughs in her face when Alexis says she believes Willow is innocent.
What is Trina and Kai's logic here? What do they think Alexis is going to do? She has a duty to defend her client even if she's guilty. Plus, she hates Drew, so she'll be fine with Willow getting away with trying to kill him.
Was Willow trying to provoke Drew to fight with Carly?
Jason's reaction to Drew cracked me up, between him ignoring Drew's ranting, going back to his food, and interrupting to correct his legal terminology.
Ugh, Brad's right. Britt and Jason make no sense as a couple. And Britt is never going to get what she wants, so she's just setting herself up for disaster.
The moss got a shout-out!
January 12th, 2026
Kai and Trina tell Alexis everything they put together, apparently thinking that she'll...I don't know, tell the jury that her client is guilty? Of course, Alexis isn't going to do that, and also of course, Kai and Trina can't share what they've figured out with anyone else or they'll get themselves arrested. Though Alexis doesn't seem totally convinced of their theory, she confirms that Wiley called Willow the night of the shooting, which certainly doesn't look good for her client. Tracy got a judge to sign a court order to force Drew to return all of the Quartermaines' things. Olivia's ready to just let things go and try to keep the peace, but she changes her mind when Ned reveals that Drew walked away while he was having his heart attack. The Quartermaines think Drew caused it in the first place, or at least exacerbated it. Drew and Martin pick the exact wrong time to show up and announce that Drew won't be obeying the court order. Tracy figures out that Martin, not Chase, told Alexis that she saw Michael the night of the shooting. Drew's proud of him for that, but his mood quickly changes when Olivia brings out a gun to force him out of the house. It turns out to be unloaded, but Drew doesn't catch on, so maybe Olivia should be handling all Quartermaine conflicts from now on. Willow tries to downplay to Nina how much she despises Drew, but Nina knows she's only tolerating him as a means to an end. She's hopeful that Willow is acquitted, Michael is arrested, Willow gets fully custody, and Drew becomes an afterthought. Molly and Cody fret to Kristina and Felicia, respectively, that because they're not on the same page and haven't discussed it, they're already done. Of course, by simply speaking to each other, they work things out and agree that they do want to be boyfriend and girlfriend, so everything's good now. Michael, Jacinda, and Kristina are mostly filler as they discuss Jacinda's decision to stay in town and Michael's apparent lack of concern that Willow will be exonerated and he'll be the next person arrested.
Again, what did Trina and Kai expect? Alexis' job is to try to get Willow acquitted whether or not she's guilty. Knowing for sure that she's guilty doesn't change her goal.
So the softball bat ended up being a big nothing.
I can't believe that over the course of one single episode, Olivia went from "maybe we should just let Drew keep all that stuff he stole" to "get out of this house or I will finish what Willow started."
I'm surprised Chase wasn't offended when he heard that Tracy thought he was the anonymous tipster.
I'm not going to be able to root for Molly and Cody if they keep doing this assumption/non-communication thing. Hopefully Felicia will continue to keep them on track.
January 13th, 2026
Alexis presents Diane with the ethical dilemma she's facing now that she knows Willow is guilty. She wants to quit, but Diane points out that that would cause a mistrial and she would lose access to Scout. Though Alexis doesn't want her granddaughter living with a woman who tried to kill her husband, in the end, she chooses her relationship with Scout over doing the right thing. Kai and Trina are disappointed to hear Alexis ignoring what they told her and continuing to work to get Willow declared not guilty. Drew, on the other hand, is pleased and thinks he's going to get everything he wants. Valentin sends Carly to Brennan's hotel room to look for anything he might have stashed there about Faison's project. She finds something and is able to snap some pictures before Brennan comes home, trailed by Britt. While Carly hides in the bathroom and puts on a robe, I guess to pretend she surprised him there for sex, Britt says something to Brennan about passing along Sidwell's data to him. Meanwhile, Valentin sneaks into Wyndemere, and Ava catches him snooping around. Anna pulls the sick prisoner routine on Pascal and manages to wrestle his gun away from him. Marco urges Britt to get back to work on Faison's project, since their competitors are gaining steam. Sidwell has set up a lab for her on Spoon Island, and Marco doesn't care that Britt can't come up with something to tell people when they find out she keeps going there. Dante is suspicious that the WSB had something to do with the evidence that disappeared, though he admits when he questions Brennan that he doesn't know why they would get rid of it. Brennan tries to implicate Drew, while Justine wonders if Dante is pursuing a long shot so he doesn't have to accept that Chase might have been the culprit. Sidwell sends Jordan to court, wanting to know if Drew is going to behave himself after his tantrum on the stand. It sounds like he has the power to have Drew replaced in Congress, and he's leaning toward using it.
I wish they'd had Alexis word her closing argument so she didn't have to lie about what she knows.
If I were Alexis, I would have told Drew that Willow was the shooter, then asked how he wanted to proceed. Put the decision on him instead of weighing justice against Scout. And if I were Diane, I would have told Alexis to just give Willow a pass on shooting Drew, because...come on.
Imagine if Carly learned something about what Britt's up to before Jason does.
I guess Sidwell doesn't fully trust Britt, or he would have brought her out there to see if Anna was really sick.
Dang, Pascal, you really fell for the oldest trick in the book.
January 14th, 2026
Anna comes close to escaping, but she's recaptured by a guy named Callum. He chastises Pascal for being outsmarted, then urges Sidwell to relocate her before she figures out where she is. Anna's big problem now is that her health actually is declining, but Pascal isn't going to believe it. The other big problem is that Cullum isn't just some random guy working on Faison's project – he's also the director of the WSB. Carly eavesdrops as Britt tells Brennan that she won't be able to pass on information to him about Faison's project now that Sidwell wants her to work at Wyndemere. Carly then pretends she was in the bathroom getting ready for an afternoon alone with him, but Brennan is paranoid and an idiot, and he almost shoots her. He yells at her for not taking it more seriously that Valentin is out and about, then chalks his fear for her up to love. Valentin tells Ava that Sidwell is letting him hide out at Wyndemere. She isn't completely convinced, and when she goes to get Pascal and call his bluff, Valentin takes off. When he and Carly regroup, she worries that Sidwell will call the police to report that he was on the island. Valentin doesn't think he will, as his behavior indicates that he's hiding something major there. Sidwell tells Pascal to send Ava away so he can deal with Anna, but Ava insists on speaking to Sidwell about his "house guest." Pascal and Sidwell think she means Anna until she tells Sidwell that Valentin was there and claimed he had permission to stay. Sidwell sets the record straight but asks Ava not to say anything to anyone. Sonny isn't happy with Alexis for trying to make Michael look like the shooter, but he's even less happy about the hoops she has to jump through to stay in Scout's life, so he understands. Brad asks Jason to stay away from Britt so she doesn't have her heart broken a third time. Jason points out that Britt keeps coming to him, so clearly, she isn't that concerned. Then he asks Britt on a date. For once, Elizabeth agrees with Brad about something – that Jason and Britt shouldn't be together. But while he wants to do something to keep them apart, she reminds him that they're adults and get to do what they want, no matter how ill-advised it is.
Imagine if Valentin finds Anna. That would be a fun twist. Even more fun would be if Lucas found her.
If Brennan couldn't find a way to see who Carly was before he ambushed her, he sucks as a spy.
"She's going to be a child for a while." Eh. It's a soap.
Jason asking Britt on a date out of the blue doesn't seem right. I think he's trying to keep her out of her apartment so Josslyn can search it.
What was the point of the Jason/Elizabeth scenes? Just throwing the Liaison fans a bone?
January 15th, 2026
Cullum tells Brennan that Anna was on a mission related to Faison and went off the radar, seemingly voluntarily. He demands to know what Brennan has gathered on Faison's project, but Brennan isn't very forthcoming (mostly because, uh, he doesn't know anything). He refuses to name any civilians he's working with, unaware that he's probably saving their lives, since Cullum can't pass their names along to Sidwell. Emma's worried about Anna and her lack of contact, and she confides to Gio that it makes her feel alone. But she's not so upset that she's not in the mood to have sex. Jason, Britt, Carly, and Josslyn are all at the same place at the same time, and it's super-tense. While Josslyn warns Britt that Brennan will get what he wants from her, no matter how much she tries to resist, Carly chastises Jason for hanging out with someone who's just going to hurt him. Jason ignores her and has an admittedly nice date with Britt. Josslyn suspects that Carly wants to be right about Britt being bad for Jason because he was right about Brennan being bad for her. Carly lies that she and Brennan worked everything out and he's not going to lie to her again. When Josslyn replies that spies lie all the time, Carly notes that she seems to know a lot about them. Josslyn smoothly credits her time dating Vaughn and says she learned from him that lying is different from what everything thinks it is. Carly barely manages to hide how difficult it is for her to know what her daughter has gotten into. Laura is sick of Martin and Tracy's rivalry, so she tells Tracy to go ahead and press charges for fraud. Tracy admits that she wasn't going to actually do that, since Ronnie would be incriminated. Martin and Tracy agree to a truce, with the understanding that this is the last chance Martin is going to get to play nice. James gets hurt while with Lulu, who freaks out about the possibility of Nathan being mad at her. He's not, of course, and he takes the opportunity to ask for parenting advice. Lulu teaches him about setting boundaries, and he nails it. Tracy isn't happy with Chase's devotion to Willow and asks if he's having an affair with her. Brook interrupts and defends her husband, but it leads to a discussion about how much time Chase has spent trying to help Willow. He doesn't regret that, but he promises Brook that nothing will come between them and he hasn't forgotten where his priorities lie.
I find it really awkward to watch sex scenes featuring characters we've known since they were children.
So it was a legit date? I don't get it.
"Loser owes winner a kiss." Are you 12?
"She's reverting back to the old Britt." Are you suggesting there's a "new" Britt? I must have missed her.
Bravo, Laura. I would have just locked them in a room together and let them fight to the death.
January 16th, 2026
Michael assures Willow that if she goes to prison, he'll make arrangements for her to see the kids. She's annoyed that he's only now thinking about her relationship with them and won't put forth the same effort if she's exonerated. Nina wants Drew to step aside and let her "take care of" Willow if the jury finds her guilty. Drew tries to twist that to make it seem like Nina wants Willow to be found guilty just so Nina can be a hero. And then I think there's more, but honestly, I stopped listening. Trina and Kai continue considering their options, but it's too late to introduce new evidence in court, and it's not Alexis' place to send her client to prison. She advises the two to do nothing until the verdict comes back. Then the verdict comes back, and Willow's acquitted, which means the people who have been putting thing off are going to have to start making tough decisions. Obrecht wants Britt to come with her to watch Rocco play hockey, and she dismisses Britt's concerns that Rocco's family won't want her there. While Britt has come to accept that she has no ties to Rocco and can't insert herself in his life, Obrecht won't let go of the delusion that she's Rocco's mother. She doesn't want Britt making the same mistakes with her "son" as Obrecht made with her, which should be easy for Britt to accomplish as long as she doesn't become obsessed with any psychopaths. Pascal brings in someone to stabilize Anna, but thanks to some drugs, Anna is now having hallucinations. First she thinks she's with Obrecht, and later she hears Faison's voice. Emma and Gio talk about Anna again, then Gio's feelings about not knowing what he wants to do with his life now that he's moved away from music. Emma encourages him as he faces figuring out what he wants and what his passions are now. Dante is still suspicious of Chase, but he admits that he might have let his own biases color how he handled Willow's case. Chase likes that he's going over all the evidence again, but he's fully convinced himself that Michael is guilty. Kai tells Michael that, even though he works for Drew, he completely disagrees with the things Drew said about him on the stand. Drew sees them shaking hands, which can't be good for Kai.
Willow should tell Michael that she's only with Drew to get custody/visitation, and once she's gotten that, she's done with him. If she tells him this is all temporary, he'll probably make a deal with her.
I hate how the lesson here for Kai and Trina is that there's nothing they can do because they made bad decisions months ago. Like, sorry you want to do the right thing now; you can't without screwing yourselves over.
Britt finally gets it! Of course, if the pattern continues, she'll forget all about it by next week.
Emma wanting to be a vet means there will be another doctor in the Scorpio-Drake family.
While I get where Chase is coming from, he's really being a jerk about it. You have no proof that Michael did anything! Stop pretending you know everything! He and Willow aren't the only possibilities here!
Kai's going to earn himself a new internship with Michael.
January 19th, 2026
Nina wants to celebrate Willow's acquittal, but she has to leave her own little party when Drew threatens to tell Willow that Nina wanted her to be convicted. Drew more or less chases off Chase (...heh), too, happy to have some time alone with Willow. But his confidence that everything is going to work out the way he wants it to goes down the drain when Willow injects him with something that knocks him out. Alexis is frustrated with the decisions she had to make and the morals she had to compromise. Suzanne reveals that she figured out weeks ago that Willow was guilty, and she realized that Alexis knew when she misspoke in court (possibly intentionally) and almost called her client guilty. She reminds Alexis that her hands were tied and she did what was required of her to help her client. Alexis gets to end the day with a visit from Scout, so she can't really complain. With Willow off the hook, Michael is sure that he'll be the next suspect under the microscope. Sonny promises that the DA won't be able to build a case against him – or at least, Justine won't be that DA. Trina tries to see Willow's victory from a different perspective: She and Kai also got away with their crimes, so they don't really have room to talk. Also, now they can move on with their lives (and Kai can quit working for Drew). Kai wants to come forward if someone innocent gets convicted, but Trina would prefer if he didn't. Anna is torn between believing that Faison might really be alive and being unwilling to buy it when he hasn't shown himself. Justine all but accuses Chase of destroying evidence for Willow, but Chase is confident that an investigation will turn up nothing. Justine then orders Dante to build a case against Michael. Chase tries to smooth things over with Michael, but considering how he just helped Willow get acquitted and actively worked against Michael, Michael's not feeling forgiving.
I don't even know what to say about Willow anymore. She's fully cracked.
My favorite part of this episode was Willow continually thanking people for their help and support in front of Drew, while barely acknowledging anything he did for her.
I cracked up at Trina's reasoning that Willow having to stay with Drew is a punishment equivalent to prison time.
Alexis' ideal defense argument: "Yeah, she shot him, but by the time I'm done here, you'll want to shoot him, too."
Who dressed Suzanne today? A red suit and an orange shirt? Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.
The only problem with this Anna scheme is that if they can't produce someone who looks like Faison, she won't believe it.

Drew appears to have had a stroke, and Willow pretends to fear the worst for his recovery. So far, she's fooled everyone except Kai into thinking his illness was something random and natural. (Her fake tears and call to Nina help.) She gets rid of the syringe she used at the hospital, which means it's likely that it'll never be found. Michael and Chase yell at each other about Willow and the shooting and other related topics until Michael asks how long it'll be before Chase falls back in bed with Willow. Chase punches him, and the two guys are on their way to beating the crap out of each other when Jason breaks up the fight. Michael shares his worries about being targeted by the DA's office and losing custody of the kids. Jason promises that he'll never let the kids live in Drew's house again. Portia meets with Tracy and Laura, who have been asked to assess her misconduct and make a recommendation to the hospital board about her fate. Portia makes a good argument for herself that her actions had nothing to do with patient care, and she proved that her ethics are intact when she helped save Drew. Curtis and Trina agree that, as upset as they are with Portia, they don't want her to lose her job. Curtis appeals to Laura, telling her that Portia stopped things from escalating when Drew tried to get her to alter test results for Michael. Sonny tries to convince Justine to let the investigation into Drew's shooting lag until it gets marked unsolved. He's insistent that Michael not be prosecuted, and Justine reveals that she doesn't want that, since she's positive that Willow was the shooter. And since she knows about Drew's vendetta against Michael, she would recuse herself if Michael went to trial. Britt asks Jason out, but she'll have to cancel the date because Cullum wants her over at the Wyndemere lab ASAP. If she won't cooperate, they'll bring in another doctor and Britt will disappear. P.S. She needs to get Jason out of her life. Stella pokes at Portia, so Isaiah sticks up for her, telling her that when Drew had her targeted for insurance fraud, Portia did more than anyone else to try to help her. Stella winds up softening, even after Isaiah puts part of the blame for the end of Portia and Curtis' marriage on Curtis. Ava thinks she might have earned a position as Sidwell's go-to art person. Trina cautions her not to get too close to him, since she's heard some not-so-good things about him. Ava thinks she can handle whatever might happen.
Drew having locked-in syndrome would be sooooooo satisfying. But I'm hoping the stroke resets him to factory settings and he has to come back from all the stuff he did while Willow tries to put her life back together.
Now that we know Willow's true nature, I'm impressed with her acting.
This is the third time Chase has hit someone. Not a great record for a cop.
Is Cullum the C who wrote the note that came with Britt's medication? That's anticlimactic.
Ava telling Nina to stay out of something is hilarious.

Willow continues playing the role of worried wife perfectly, even turning on the waterworks when Lucas reveals that Drew will have major difficulties and might never make a full recovery. Kai remains suspicious, and Nina isn't sure what to think, since she knows Willow doesn't love Drew and her emotions probably aren't real. She worries that Willow will give Drew a pass for everything he's done or even start loving him again. Britt picks a fight with Carly that goes from trashing Bobbie's to complaining about Carly and Jason's relationship. Carly guesses that she's purposely antagonizing her but doesn't know why. When Jason joins them, Britt says that Carly is the reason the two of them will never be together. Even though Internal Affairs isn't happy about his independent investigation, Chase gets to keep his badge, though Dante demotes him until he can demonstrate that he can do his job properly. Chase basically has a tantrum about it, which really doesn't help. It works out well for Nathan, though, as Dante needs extra help. Brennan thinks that if Cullum finds out that Josslyn is an agent, he'll put her in a dangerous situation, so he deactivates her while Cullum's in town. She's ordered to drop the Sidwell investigation and let Britt handle everything. It's horrible timing because Lucas wants to hang out at Wyndemere, and Pascal's out of town, making this the perfect time for her to snoop. Jason and Tracy tell Danny about Drew's stroke, and Danny's immediate thought is that he might get to see Scout now. Jason knows he can't negotiate that with Willow, so he sends him to Alexis for help working that out. Alexis has already gotten Willow to agree to let Scout stay with her while Drew's in the hospital, but she doesn't think they should go so far as to violate a restraining order, at least not until they know more about Drew's prognosis. Alexis tells Danny that they have to play by the rules for now, but she's optimistic that he'll be able to see Scout soon. Cullum meets with Lulu and Rocco to find out if Rocco knows where Dalton might have gone. It's pretty contrived, but it gives him the chance to subtly intimidate Britt in public. Later, Lulu tells Laura about the conversation, and Laura gets spooked about Dalton's disappearance being investigated. Tracy suspects that Jason did something to Drew, and she offers to provide him an alibi if he needs one. Alexis appreciates Suzanne's friendship, and I don't know what that's all about, but I'm keeping an eye out for Suzanne to possibly turn out to be evil. Laura and Elizabeth are filler.
"I just want to make sure my husband gets the treatment he deserves." LOL. You know what, Willow? We do, too.
"That little girl is all I have left of her." I guess Alexis forgot about Danny.
I love that Carly saw right through Britt. I assume that's the only reason she didn't throw anything at her.
Chase should be grateful that Dante doesn't know about his fight with Michael, because he'd be in even more trouble.
What was the point of Cullum questioning Rocco? Was it to stick it to Laura or Britt? Or is he just trying to make it look like he's investigating Dalton's disappearance?

Anna hallucinates Peter (sigh) and continues being unsure of whether anything happening is real. Peter taunts that Faison is getting ready for her and will show himself when the time is right. Josslyn's hopes of snooping at Wyndemere get dashed by Ava's presence and amusement over getting under Josslyn's skin. Lucas wants to take a field trip to the catacombs, but Marco won't allow it, something that will probably raise some red flags for Josslyn. Britt orders Jason to choose between her and Carly, which he refuses to do. This gives her the excuse to cut him out of her life. Carly insists to Jason that she did nothing to provoke Britt and even held back because she knew Britt was trying to provoke her. Jason assures Carly that he can love her and be with Britt without there being a conflict. Carly knows, and she points out that of the two women, she's not the one who asked him to choose one of them. Chase decides that his demotion is the perfect time to focus on building his family with Brook. She worries that he's finding an excuse to avoid his problems, and he worries that she's changed her mind about adopting. She assures him that she hasn't, then helps him decide that, rather than just accept the demotion and move on, he wants to work to become a detective again. Cullum finds an excuse to approach Rocco while he's doing his community service at the hospital. Britt sees them together and guesses that Cullum is using Rocco to mess with her. He confirms it, threatening to have Rocco taken into WSB custody for the lab break-in if Britt doesn't get with the program. Emma and Gio take her concerns about Anna to Nathan, who has an idea of who to speak to next.
Ugh, I had a hunch that Peter was going to be Anna's hallucination of the day. I suspect Alex will be next.
I wish Josslyn had called out Ava for pretending not to know why Josslyn hates her.
Someone finally mentioned Avery! She still exists! And someone mentioned the catacombs for the first time in years.
Britt needs to work on her poker face. She shouldn't have given it away that Cullum had found her weak spot.
January 26th, 2026
Josslyn thinks that Brennan should take advantage of an approaching blizzard, during which Wyndemere will likely be empty, to sneak in through the catacombs and take a look around. Brennan says he can't get a team in place fast enough, which, of course, means Josslyn will try to go in herself (which is probably why she later meets with Brick). Marco meets with Cullum behind Sidwell's back to urge him to take out Sonny before he can learn anything about what they're working on. Josslyn eavesdrops on Brennan and Cullum when Cullum comes to ask about Sonny's connection to what Sidwell's working on. Brennan denies that there's any connection, but Cullum thinks that his relationship with Carly is making him shy away from investigating. Brennan claims that he's only with Carly to get information about Sonny. Jason tries to talk to Britt about her fight with Carly, but she makes a scene in front of Lucas and threatens him with a restraining order if he won't leave her alone. She explains to Lucas that she's trying to let go of things from her past that are holding her back. Jason, to his credit, has guessed that this is all about whatever's going on with Sidwell, and he wants to put her under surveillance for her protection. Carly tries to get Sidwell to work with her to break up Lucas and Marco. Sidwell refuses, since he wants Marco to be happy, but he offers to help Carly make up with Lucas. Brick sees them talking, so Carly has to tell him what their conversation was about. And then there was some other stuff but I stopped paying attention because, you know, it's Brick. Marco demands that Britt come see her new lab, so she makes up an excuse to leave work early. Lucas also gets off early and catches the two of them arguing at Wyndemere. Sonny uses reverse psychology to ensure that Ava will keep spending time with Sidwell, hoping that the love triangle will distract him. Ava totally falls for it, and Sidwell either doesn't catch on or doesn't care. Brick flirts with Jordan like he usually does, and I roll my eyes like I usually do, because she won't just tell him she's in a relationship and shut him down. Then she and Curtis are mostly filler, talking about Drew and Portia and nothing interesting.
Instead of turning to Brick, Josslyn should team up with Jason. That alliance hasn't gotten anywhere. That said, I really hope that she and Carly come clean to each other and work together to take down Brennan.
Josslyn is now a better spy than both her boss and her boss' boss.
Jason, it's time to give Britt what she wants. Anything else is going to get you yelled at some more.
"We're all very sorry for what happened to Natalia." Who's "we"?
January 27th, 2026
Josslyn asks Brick how, hypothetically, one might cut the power on Spoon Island. Since the answer involves schematics and security clearance she doesn't have, she opts for some explosives. Britt quickly spins a lie for Lucas about coming on as Sidwell's private doctor and giving Marco an exam because he wasn't feeling well. Sidwell tries to convince her to stay at Wyndemere instead of trying to beat the blizzard home, but he accepts her assessment that the lab isn't ready for her to start using yet. When the power goes out, Sidwell, Marco, Lucas, and Ava decide to leave the island, too. When Lulu and Charlotte show up at the Metro Court restaurant, Brennan summons Nina to take another shot at getting Charlotte to talk about Valentin. If she won't, he threatens to release the footage of her in Drew's neighborhood the night of the shooting and ruin her reputation (and probably her chances of getting custody). Charlotte asks Carly to come up with a reason for her to come over so she can see Valentin, but Carly won't. After learning that her police detail has been called off during the blizzard, Charlotte takes off. Tracy hired movers to get the Quartermaines' things back from Drew while the house is empty, but they cancel because of the snow. Emma and Gio offer themselves up to help instead. Anna tries to hold on to her sanity as "Faison" tells her they're soulmates and she'll never be able to escape him. Sonny warns Jason that Britt might be working for Sidwell voluntarily, in which case he really should leave her alone. Jason thinks she's legitimately scared and needs help. Sonny cautions that Britt has a habit of putting herself first, so she might betray him to save herself. Brick has followed a trail that connects the two attempts on Sonny's life last year to money that came from a WSB slush fund. Sonny suspects Brennan, though that would mean that he's been keeping some pretty big secrets from Carly for a long time. Jason's like, "Yeah, I can buy that."
There's no universe in which Wyndemere looks like that.
It would have been fun if everyone – including Britt – had stayed at Wyndemere.
This Great-Grandma and Two College Students Do a Heist plot has strong "what could possibly go wrong?" vibes.
"[Charlotte's] a Spencer. God help you." And a Cassadine. God help everyone.
I guess the writers realized they never wrapped up the who-tried-to-kill-Sonny storyline, which I personally had forgotten all about.
January 28th, 2026
Josslyn doesn't make any progress searching Wyndemere before she comes across Cullum. She decides to reveal she's there, just Lucas' clueless niece who came to take shelter on her way to a blizzard party on a nearby island. Cullum pretends to be the house's caretaker and welcomes her to hang out for the night. Emma and Gio don't make it to Drew's before the roads get too bad to use, so Tracy's on her own to get the Quartermaines' things. At least, she would be if Martin weren't already there, playing gatekeeper. He won't let her take anything, arguing that it's unfair to take advantage of Drew while he's in the condition he's in. Tracy thinks it's perfectly fair, considering she saved his life and he did nothing for Ned when he had his heart attack. Martin threatens to throw her out, but he gives her the chance to stay if she'll ask him nicely. Portia ambushes Trina at home, figuring her daughter won't throw her out during a blizzard. Trina gives her the opportunity to explain her choices, but all Portia does is blame Jordan for the end of her marriage. Trina calls her out for being a habitual cheater and liar, and Portia whines that people keep judging her. Charlotte makes a pit stop at the Quartermaines' before going to Carly's, and she tells Danny that she heard Nina talking to Brennan and thinks Nina is plotting against Valentin. Danny tries to convince her not to go out in the snow to warn her father about something that isn't really an issue right now, but it looks like they wound up going together. Carly speeds home to let Valentin know that Charlotte's on her way over, but when Charlotte never arrives, Valentin fears the worst. He insists on going to look for his daughter, but even the old "you'd do the same if the situation were reversed" trick doesn't work on her, and she refuses to let him leave. Lulu asks Nathan to help her find Charlotte, thinking she went to check on her horse. The two end up getting stranded at a café instead.
Interesting choice for Josslyn to reveal herself. I guess it's better to do that and control Cullum's perception of her than risk getting caught and being seen as an intruder.
Trina gets to have all the attitude she wants. Shut up, Portia.
Taggert mention! I wonder what he's up to.
You'd think a guy who was shot in his own house would have a security system installed.
Martin should have helped Tracy and earned himself a favor to be named later.
January 29th, 2026
Nathan and Lulu calm down after learning that Charlotte's safe, and they pass the time by drinking and playing true truths and a lie. Lulu may have caught Nathan in an inconsistency about his father, but she's a little tipsy, so she doesn't trust her memory. Their mutual admiration leads to a kiss, which gets drowned out by my screams. Britt made the mistake of taking a boat back from Spoon Island during the blizzard, and when she didn't make it, Jason had to rescue her. She finally decides to stop pushing him away and start telling him the things she's been lying about and keeping from him since she came back. Valentin insists on going to look for Charlotte, but he doesn't even get off of Carly's property before he realizes he won't accomplish anything. He's pleased that Carly was going to go with him, and she basically says that, despite all the jerky stuff he's done, she doesn't want him to die. Martin blasts Tracy for ruining his relationship with Lucy and getting him busted for not paying alimony. He doesn't think she understands what it's like to have a significant love, so she tells him about her relationship with Luke. This gives Martin some insight into her and how they might be a little bit alike, though he notes that at least he's willing to open up his heart again. Charlotte and Danny hide out at the gatehouse and talk about how their fathers have influenced their lives and how people perceive them. Then they kiss, which is so wrong. Kristina submitted Molly's latest book to her old agent, who loved it and thinks she could get a multi-book deal. Molly doesn't want to go down that route, since she only sees writing as a hobby, but Cody's very excited for her. He mentions wanting to read the book, which Molly doesn't address, and he sneaks a look when she's not around.
All I can say about Nahan and Lulu is UGHHHHHHHHH.
I'm glad we're finally going back to the Nathan mystery. They can get back in gear now that we're just two weeks away from Maxie coming back.
Sigmund mention! Quack quack. Also a Paul mention. (hisses like a cat)
Someone please remind Charlotte and Danny that THEY ARE RELATED.
January 30th, 2026
Nathan and Lulu make out for a little while and admit that they've been developing feelings for each other. Nathan thinks it's okay that he's ready to move on from Maxie, since she moved on from him, but Lulu can't allow herself to do anything with her best friend's husband. They agree that they'll pretend this never happened and keep up the status quo. Britt tells Jason some of the details of her work in Croatia, Cullum, her medication, and Dalton's murder. She agrees to let him have her medication tested and replicated, but while they're working on getting her out of Cullum and Sidwell's clutches, they'll have to avoid each other. Josslyn's spy skills decline over the course of the evening, as she lets on that she's different from the persona she first presented, then gets caught snooping in Cullum's things. She finds the book Pascal used to taunt Anna and starts reading it. Carly's softened toward Valentin so much that she tells him he can spend the night in a guest bedroom instead of the attic. That goes out the window when Brennan makes a surprise visit. Carly realizes that she'll have to sleep with him to make him think everything is normal. Cody's hurt by the way Molly wrote the character who's obviously based on him. She assures him that the character changes over the course of the story, just like Cody has changed, but he doesn't like that she ever saw him the way she used to. Molly points out that he wouldn't have gotten his feelings hurt if he hadn't read the book without her permission. Portia and Trina fight some more, and Trina says she might never be able to trust her mother again. Portia just hopes that Trina's feelings for her don't color how she feels about the baby. Rocco interrupts before Danny and Charlotte can do too much, so thank you, Rocco. He's hurt that they've been arranging meetings for Charlotte and Valentin without him, but he understands that they were trying to keep him from having to lie to Lulu.
No Drew all week! Thanks, show!
The best indication yet that Nathan isn't Nathan: He wouldn't kiss anyone other than Maxie.
Jason, ask more questions! Make her tell you stuff we don't know yet! You can have sex later!
What a dumb fight for Molly and Cody to have. This relationship sucks.
