Colette takes a shot at Valentin but misses. In the ensuing chaos, Valentin takes off with Charlotte. Dante keeps Lulu from going after them, since she doesn't know the city or the language and has no idea where they've gone. Lulu blames his interference for the way things turned out. Michael tells Sasha that if his and Willow's custody battle gets heated, he might have to expose her affair with Drew, so it's more important than ever that his fling with Sasha stay secret. Sasha has no problem with that, but she makes things even more complicated by announcing that she's pregnant. She wants to raise the baby completely on her own, somewhere else, and doesn't want Michael involved at all, since his families' influence would never lead anywhere good. Michael reluctantly agrees. Anna tases Brennan and handcuffs him to a chair before ordering him to stay away from Emma. Brennan plays innocent, but Anna's smart enough to know that he could easily use her granddaughter to mess with her. Alexis doesn't bother to hide how happy it makes her to tell Ava that she doesn't get any of the Cassadines' money unless Ace decides to give her some when he turns 21. Ava complains that Alexis is making things personal and could throw her a few bucks if she wanted to. Alexis is like, "Regardless, I don't want to, so get out of my office." Isaiah gets Sonny medical attention but can't convince him to go to the hospital. Sonny explains that he can't have anyone finding out that he's not in perfect health. Isaiah warns that if he doesn't follow up with a cardiologist, he's at risk for a heart attack or stroke. Drew wants Willow to come to his swearing-in ceremony in D.C., and he doesn't think there will be any whispers about them if she brings Wiley along.

Darn it, Colette! We could have had it all... (But imagine if they'd brought Valentin back after months away just to kill him off.)

I think we all agree that if Rocco were in Charlotte's position, Dante wouldn't be taking Lulu back to the café to talk to the local police. He'd be running through the streets of Prague until he couldn't run anymore.

I was liking Sasha so much, and now she pulls this. Yes, being raised as a Corinthos and a Quartermaine messed Michael up. But not letting him have anything to do with his child? Ugh.

I hope Carly finds Brennan handcuffed to the chair and he has to explain what happened.

Ava, who made Alexis lose her law license for petty reasons: "You're making this personal!"

Congratulations, Isaiah, for saving a mob boss! You can probably expect a big donation in your name to one of the refugee camps where you used to work.

Charlotte feels responsible for the way everything went down, but Valentin isn't mad at her, even for breaking the rules he set out to keep them off of everyone's radar. He gives her the choice to stay with him or go home with Lulu, and she chooses to stay with him. Lulu thinks that Valentin was about to let her take Charlotte when Dante showed up and disrupted things. She also thinks that he was the one the sniper followed to Valentin. Dante tells her the sniper probably followed her, Valentin was never going to give her what she wants, and she's making horrible decisions that could be putting her life at risk. Lulu doesn't really care, since she'll do anything to get Charlotte back. Dante calls her out for wasting what Sam gave her and neglecting the rest of her life. Nina complains to Curtis that Drew took Willow and Wiley to D.C. and continues to have a hold over her daughter. Curtis again laments that his former friend isn't the person he used to be, but he's resigned to responding to Drew the way he is now. He thinks that if Nina tells Willow about her own flings with Drew, Willow will drop him, but Nina isn't quite ready to drop that bomb. Michael asks Sasha to stay in Port Charles, even if she doesn't want the baby to have a relationship with him or his family. She has a lot of reasons to leave and is committed to her plans to be a single mother, but she ultimately agrees. When she goes to the hospital to make an appointment with an OB, she gets directed to a patient advocate, who of course turns out to be Felicia. Sasha tells her she's pregnant but isn't quite ready to give the news to her parents. Nina breaks the news to Michael that Willow and Wiley went to D.C. with Drew. His lack of response surprises her, and Curtis warns that she should be concerned. Michael immediately calls Diane and asks if they can use Willow's travel against her. Sonny sees his heart trouble as a wake-up call and is starting to think about succession plans. Of course, his first choice as a successor is Jason, but Jason's done with the mob beyond helping out on a short-term basis. This makes Sonny decide that it's time to come up with an exit strategy.

Valentin doesn't seem concerned that Charlotte might be in danger with him, which makes him ridiculously delusional and/or stupid.

I guess we'll see Charlotte and Valentin again in, like, six more months?

Dante is right about Lulu being too single-minded, but playing the Sam card was a step too far. For starters, Sam would be doing the same thing Lulu is in her position.

Let's not tell Lulu that Charlotte thinks she might have been the one to try to have Valentin killed. I don't think that would go over well.

If Sasha doesn't want to admit that she got pregnant from a one-night stand, she should tell people she used a sperm donor. Whatever she goes with, she's going to have to keep following up "I'm pregnant" with "Cody's not the father."

January 6th, 2025

Michael files for divorce, and Willow gets the papers in her hotel in D.C. She's distressed about the possibility that Michael will take her children away from her, though he's just starting out with a heavy strike so he can negotiate "down" to shared custody. Willow's also worried that she'll cost Drew his political career, like, girl, that is the least of your problems right now. Sonny gives Michael encouragement and promises to help him be the kind of person his kids will always be proud of. And then suddenly a bomb goes off at the penthouse and Michael's on fire. Lucy welcomes Wyndemere's new owner to Port Charles, buddies up with him, and volunteers to introduce him to the major players in town. All of this would be fine in any other situation, but here, it's really bad, because the new owner is Sidwell. Cyrus chats up Isaiah about how they're both in roles where they do God's work. Isaiah has heard all about Cyrus from Jordan, so he knows better than to be friendly. Brad overhears them talking and tears into Cyrus for thinking he's a good guy and deserves redemption when he tried to kill Britt. Lucas has to separate them, and Brad admits that he's a hypocrite for asking for forgiveness for his misdeeds while not wanting the same for Cyrus. Lucas assures him that they're nowhere near alike. Portia finds a silver lining in the confrontation and uses it as a reason to ban Cyrus from the hospital. Josslyn clears out Dex's apartment while telling Trina again how much she wants justice. She finds a gun in Dex's drawer, which probably won't end well. Brennan gets access to security footage if Dex's stabbing, and though his attacker isn't seen clearly and I don't want to jump to any conclusions, he sure looks like Cyrus to me. Laura fills Martin in on the drama in Prague and worries that Valentin will be harder to track down next time. Martin points out that at least Lulu and Charlotte got to see each other, and since Charlotte reached out to her mother once, he figures she will again. Similarly, Brennan thinks that Charlotte is the key to finding Valentin – who, it turns out, he doesn't want dead, or at least not yet. Carly vents to Jason about Willow and Drew's trip to D.C., and Jason's like, "I already punched the guy once; what do you want me to do, punch him again?" (Everyone in the audience, in unison: "Yes!")

How did a bomb get into Sonny's apartment? Sonny, fire all your security guys.

Based on past events, I predict that Sonny and Carly will have sex by the end of the month.

It's moot now, but it should be another strike against Willow that she left Amelia with a nanny instead of Michael.

Way to keep a low profile, Sidwell. You're cozying up to one of Port Charles' biggest gossips.

I thought Cyrus' thing about Isaiah playing God was going to point to his motive for everything – Lulu should have died, so he killed Sam for saving her. But apparently he doesn't have a problem with other people playing God? And I'm still as confused as ever.

January 8th, 2025

Jason keeps Sonny from running into his burning penthouse, then gets Michael out himself. Michael has severe burns covering 40% of his body, and Lucas and Portia can't be sure that he'll survive. Drew and Willow have sex, but her mind is on the uphill battle she faces to hold on to custody of her kids. Drew promises to help her in any way she needs, as if he's any match for the combined powers of the Corinthos contingent and the Quartermaines. Of course, this all gets brushed aside when Nina learns about the fire in a contrived way and tells Willow and Drew about it. Brook is still concerned about her failure to get pregnant, and she asks Lois if it might be karma...since she got pregnant as a teenager (at camp, it sounds like) and then gave up the baby. She's also feeling stressed about the fact that she never told Chase about that very important piece from her past, but she thinks it's too late to say anything now. Nina's five seconds away from hopping on a plane and going to D.C. to drag Willow and Wiley back home before Michael can use their travel against Willow in court. Curtis thinks she should let things play out instead, with a little nudge from him. He'll leak the affair to the press, and Drew will be forced to choose between his political career and his mistress. Nina's tempted, but she worries that the affair will spell doom for Willow when it comes to custody, so she'll pass. Carly and Trina are both worried about Josslyn and her grief, with Trina additionally uneasy about what Josslyn might do in her quest for justice and/or revenge. Considering the fact that she can't stop thinking about Dex's gun, Trina's right to worry. Brennan tells Carly that Josslyn's so much like her that she'll probably deal with her grief the same way Carly has in the past (so...have sex with an ex? Cameron, are you busy right now?). Chase confides to Sasha that he's worried he's putting too much pressure on Brook to have a baby, since Gregory wanted them to have one. Sasha reminds him that the situation is out of his and Brook's control, since pregnancy is completely unpredictable.

Oof. Bad timing for a storyline involving fire.

Sorry, Drew's constituents, he can't see to your needs right now. He's busy helping his girlfriend through her divorce.

Portia. Girl. HIPAA.

Does this mean Ned doesn't know that Brook had a baby as a teenager? That seems strange.

Remind me to never get on Curtis' bad side.

January 9th, 2025

Martin wants Willow to make a play for temporary custody of the kids because when Michael's able to care for them again, it'll be easier for her to get full custody. Nina supports that idea, but Willow refuses to think about custody or the divorce when her kids could lose their father. She goes to the hospital to check on Michael but instead gets into a big fight with Josslyn, who's disgusted with Willow's actions and sounding more like her mother than ever. Drew also goes to the hospital to ask about Michael's condition, and Curtis advises him to get out of there before he ticks off any Corinthoses or Quartermaines. Instead, Drew goes to the chapel, where he runs into Carly, who doesn't let their location keep her from tearing into him. He objects that he's not as selfish as she says he is because he went to prison for her. She thinks he did it because he wanted to be a martyr. Drew accuses her of being the person responsible for what happened to Michael, so tune in tomorrow to see if Carly throws a candle at his head. Curtis goes to Nina to ask her to get Drew to keep his distance from the Corinthoses and Quartermaines. While he's there, Diane shows up with Chase and a court order to take the kids. Nina won't let her, but I think we all know that in a battle between her and Diane, Diane's going to win. Sonny has revenge on his mind, but Jason thinks they should be more concerned with their exit strategy so he doesn't have to worry about his kids suffering the same fate as Michael. Molly shows up to give Kristina support, though she's not sure she'll be welcomed. Alexis would like all the help she can get with taking care of Kristina, because she and Sonny apparently aren't enough (though really, Sonny's focus should be on a different one of his kids). Kristina, to her credit, is self-aware that she's mostly thinking about Michael's condition in terms of herself, so maybe she can get by with just two people paying lots of attention to her instead of three. Anna asks Brennan to help look into the incendiary device that started the fire, thinking it could be something the WSB has experience with.

I was going to give Willow a tiny round of applause for refusing to take advantage of Michael's condition to vie for custody of the kids, but I let it go when she claimed that he was partially responsible for the breakdown of their marriage.

Imagine going to the hospital to check up on the guy whose wife you stole, then blaming his mother for his condition. Go away, Drew.

"I hate to break it to you, Drew, but you're the bad guy here." God bless you, Curtis.

Diane, you're acting a little villain-y. Chill.

Speaking of Diane, I wonder if Sonny will tell her that Michael said he doesn't want to take the kids from Willow, or if he'll just let things play out.

Curtis is at the hospital, but no Quartermaines are?

I am begging Sonny and Alexis to stop treating Kristina like a child. She can go for a walk by herself for ten minutes.

January 10th, 2025

Cyrus learns of Michael's hospitalization and asks Martin to help him get him allowed back into GH. Martin can't do anything, so Cyrus just disguises himself as a doctor and sneaks in so she can mercy-kill Michael. Nina breaks up Josslyn and Willow's fight (which is, admittedly, mostly just Josslyn attacking Willow) and breaks the news that Carly's gotten Wiley and Amelia removed. Diane wants to keep pushing the custody issue until her client tells her to stop (and since Michael's going to be heavily sedated for a while, that's not going to happen anytime soon). That means there's nothing Willow can do to get her kids back right now. Drew suggests that since she's still Michael's wife and therefore gets to make medical decisions for him, she use that as a bargaining chip. She doesn't want to go so far as to keep Sonny and Carly from seeing Michael, but she does flex her powers when they try to talk to his doctors. Colette reminds Brennan that he can't do anything with the footage he has from the day of Dex's stabbing, since it's a civilian matter. He tells her he's going to drop some breadcrumbs for Josslyn so she figures things out herself. He starts by providing Josslyn with a list of the witnesses who were interviewed after the stabbing. Josslyn talks to Felicia, who finally remembers the thing that she found strange that day: When Dex was stabbed, Cyrus had stopped ringing the bell at his collection bucket. While everyone else is alternately mad and sad about Michael's condition, Sasha and Jason are mostly shaken, especially over the thought of how much pain he's in. Drew's words have made Carly feel guilty, but Sonny knows he was the real target of the explosion, and he thinks the decisions Carly made in the past that got them here were ones that she thought were best for Michael. They agree that they need to present a united front and put their issues aside for their son's sake. Ava asks Ric to try to get through to Alexis about her money situation, because I guess she thinks Alexis will do him a favor? I don't know. Long story short, Ava's still broke. Isaiah wants Sonny to keep his health in mind while he's going through this crisis, but Sonny brushes him off. Lucy continues cuddling up to Sidwell, completely clueless about the kind of danger he presents.

So Cyrus thinks he's an angel of mercy? But Sam and Dex weren't suffering. I'm so confused!

Why would a judge approve of removing kids from their mother's care when their father can't currently take care of them? This whole thing has nothing to do with custody. You don't just get your kids taken away because your ex filed for custody, unless it's an emergency situation. They should still share custody until there was a ruling from a judge.

It says something that I legitimately thought Drew was going to offer to bribe a judge for Willow.

I was wondering what it was that Felicia found weird but couldn't remember about the day of Dex's stabbing. That was nicely done.

How does Sasha live with 20 people, many of them Quartermaines, and not hear about what happened to Michael?

I feel like we're only a day or two away from Maxie figuring out that Michael is the father of Sasha's baby.

Why do they keep having Jason/Sasha scenes? Is he going to help raise the baby? It's what he does.

I guess Sidwell isn't worried about, like, Anna walking into Bobbie's and seeing him.

January 13th, 2025

Drew more or less pulls Willow's strings as she threatens to cut Sonny and Carly off from Michael. He makes it clear that she'll back down if they give up on trying to keep the kids from her. Carly accuses him of trying to make himself indispensable to Willow so she'll eventually only turn to him. Surprisingly, Nina steps in and convinces Sonny that it's best for the kids if they're with Willow. Sonny overrules Diane and Carly's actions with the kids, and Willow agrees to keep Sonny and Carly in the loop about Michael's medical care. Everyone ends up satisfied, except Nina, because Willow still sees Drew as her hero for orchestrating everything. Michael almost goes into cardiac arrest, but Isaiah quickly guesses that he was given digitalis and gives him something to reverse the effects. Isaiah tells Portia that they need to bring in the police because it's pretty clear now that someone's murdering patients with digitalis. Portia has already come to that same conclusion and asked Brad to look up instances in the past three months where patients were given digitalis when it wasn't prescribed. Lulu returns to Port Charles and complains to Laura that Dante screwed up her reunion with Charlotte. But she has to admit that a) he might be right about her leading the sniper to Valentin and b) she's not doing a great job of honoring Sam. Laura's like, "I understand your desire to get your daughter back, but could you please do it in a less stress-inducing manner?" Tracy and Stella catch up, and Tracy starts out by complaining about all the kids at the mansion. She realizes she's being insensitive, since Stella's still mourning Irene, and Stella admits that it's still hard for her to be around babies. Tracy confides that Monica's health problems have her worried that the glue that holds the Quartermaines together won't hold much longer. Stella nominates Tracy to become the new family matriarch when the time comes. Tracy decides to ease up on the kids at the mansion because they're the future of the family. Cody hasn't done anything with the $50,000 Drew gave him, but he wants to invest in cryptocurrency. He needs more money fast, since someone else may be about to buy and tear down Serenity. Tracy cautions him that he'll wind up with nothing. A conversation with Kai about a big bowl game gives Cody a new idea, which he approaches Brad about: He'll get Selina to place a bet for him on the game. Brad agrees to present the idea to her if Cody gives him a cut of his winnings. Trina winds up in a yoga class with Kai (thanks to Stella), and he talks to her about his dilemma over whether to stay in school or try to get drafted in the NFL.

DREW. SHUT UP. Willow, grow a backbone and stop listening to him.

I can't believe Nina's the most reasonable one in all of this, or that she's doing something that benefits Carly.

As long as Elizabeth doesn't turn up on any surveillance footage outside Michael's room, she should be off the hook.

Unfortunate timing for Tracy to talk about Monica's health in the first episode to air after Leslie Charleson's death.

I see, NOW Kai will suffer a career-ending injury (which will keep him on the show instead of having him leave town to play in the NFL), and Cody will lose the whole $50,000.

January 14th, 2025

Willow goes to the Quartermaines' to get the kids, but Sasha finds a way to delay her departure. The two of them fight, and it becomes clear that Willow is nothing like the sweet, angelic person she used to be. Tracy intervenes when Martin comes to oversee the transfer of the kids, refusing to let Quartermaine children be taken from the family home. As a result, the Corinthos contingent gets kicked out of the ICU. Nina slams Drew for making Willow act like someone different so he can get what he wants. He plays innocent, of course, so she asks why he hasn't told her that they slept together. Drew makes a good point (ugh) that Nina hasn't told her, either, so they should drop it. When Nina learns from Martin that Tracy is stonewalling things with the kids, she goes to Sonny and asks him to do something. Lucky talks to someone from the mission Cyrus volunteers for and learns that he's been visiting patients in multiple hospitals and facilities. Josslyn overhears and she and Lucky share information with each other about Cyrus and his possible crimes. Josslyn mentions that she saw Cyrus and Dex speaking not long before Dex's stabbing, and she thinks it was about the fact that Sonny once sent Dex to kill Cyrus. Lucky takes what he learns to Elizabeth, who's just heard from Lucas that Michael almost became Cyrus' most recent victim. The three agree that Cyrus is the most likely culprit, but they can't figure out his motives. Lulu tells Tracy about her adventures in Prague, and Tracy echoes what Dante and Laura have told her: She's going about things wrong. That said, if she gets a legitimate lead on Charlotte, Tracy will give Lulu any money and resources she needs to find her daughter. Carly's struggling with how to help Michael through his medical crisis. She's also concerned about any scars he might be stuck with that will remind him of what happened. Jason suggests that they send him to the Russian plastic surgeon Ava went to see back in 2017. Unfortunately, that all happened because of Valentin, who's not exactly reachable right now and probably wouldn't feel inclined to help if he were. Dante wants Sonny to tell him anything he needs to know about the bomb in the penthouse, clearly thinking that Sonny's going to keep it to himself and seek revenge. Sonny says that right now, all he's focused on is Michael's recovery.

I get why Sasha stepped in, but if there's ever a situation she has every right to stay completely out of, it's this.

So Willow's kicking the Corinthos contingent out of the ICU because of something Tracy did? Come on.

Sonny and Carly should have brought Diane in to ensure that things went smoothly with the kids.

So close, Josslyn. Right suspect, wrong motive.

Lucky, Elizabeth, Lucas, and Josslyn is a fun combination for an investigative team.

Lulu, if three people have told you the same thing, maybe you should listen.

I had to look it up because it was pretty insignificant seven years ago and I didn't remember most of it, but the doctor at the clinic isn't why Ava doesn't have scars anymore – it's because Klein, the guy who kidnapped Sam, gave her the formula for whatever treatment she needed, and another doctor did the procedure.

January 15th, 2025

Sonny's attempt to get Tracy to let Willow have her kids back goes about as well as you'd expect, even though Sonny's on her side about not wanting the reunion to happen. Tracy has no intention of doing anything nice for Sonny or Carly, even if it's in Michael's best interest. Jason joins the conversation, but when Tracy tells him that Monica wants the kids to stay put, he backs down and won't press the issue. While spying on Cyrus with Lucky, Elizabeth determines that he might be inclined to open up to her. She suggests that she pretend to join his mission so she can talk with him more. Lucky objects to her possibly putting herself in danger, which probably makes her want to do it more. Josslyn convinces Anna to focus her investigation on Cyrus, which starts with Anna bringing him in for questioning. Since there's no evidence linking him to Dex's stabbing, Anna has to let him go. Josslyn throws a fit about that, and Anna chastises that now Cyrus knows he's a suspect and that Josslyn knows more about the situation than he thought she did. Alexis expresses her concerns to Drew that Scout is isolated from the people Sam wanted her to be with. Drew plays the victim, blaming the Quartermaines for kicking him out and not caring about Scout in the process. Alexis questions his relationship with Willow, which Drew insists is strong and will be good for Scout. Alexis is understandably skeptical and thinks Scout should live with her until things settle down. Emma officially meets Gio and Trina, who are watching a PCU game at a bar. Felicia's uneasy about seeing her there, since the last time she let loose, she got expelled. But she also doesn't want Emma to not have fun, so she asks Emma to avoid felonies and stick to misdemeanors. Carly turns to Brennan for help getting Michael the same treatment Ava received, because of course. He agrees to see what he can do, also because of course. Cody's super-excited about the possibility of making a lot of money with zero effort, but there's no way anyone's surprised when Kai gets hurt during the game and the team loses, leaving Cody $50,000 poorer. Sonny has heart issues again but appears to be taking medication for them.

This isn't Jason choosing the Quartermaines over Sonny and Carly – this is Jason thinking that it's more important for Monica to have Wiley and Amelia close than for Michael to have his parents with him. How does an off-screen character have so much influence on the plot?

Wait, I have more questions! Why isn't Diane trying to get Willow removed as the person who makes Michael's medical decisions? Why hasn't someone suggested a compromise where Willow gets to stay in the gatehouse with the kids? Has Jason considered reasoning with Monica? Or Willow?

I'd love for someone to point out that Tracy has never given a crap about Michael before now, let alone his kids, and will continue to not give a crap about him when this plotline is over.

I hope Elizabeth's plan to "join" Cyrus' mission is like Sam's infiltration of Dawn of Day.

January 16th, 2025

Nina tries to convince Willow to try for a ceasefire with Sonny and Carly. Willow won't even listen to her, even though she's punishing Sonny and Carly (and Michael) for a stunt Tracy pulled. Chase finds Willow practically on the verge of a breakdown, and surprisingly, she tells him that she knows she's made bad decisions and screwed up her whole life. She's self-aware enough to get that she's spent her years in town floating from one hero to another. Chase notes that maybe she's been looking for the family she never had when she was younger. He gives her some encouragement and urges her to make her own decisions rather than listen to Nina or Drew. Carly tries to appeal to Tracy to give the kids back to Willow (ironic, since she's the reason they were taken away in the first place), but Tracy is motivated half by family loyalty and half by revenge for the way Carly's messed up Monica's life for the past 30 years. Carly's left with no options, so when Willow asks to talk, it's almost like she's ready to take whatever she can get. Meanwhile, Chase goes to Tracy and tells her it's time to knock off her scheme. Ava and Stella both do some subtle matchmaking with Kai and Trina, and it's pretty clear that Stella approves of whatever's blooming between them. Kai isn't injured too badly, but he won't be able to make the draft this year, so he'll be staying in Port Charles and obviously hopes to spend more of his time there with Trina. Selina goes to Cody to get the money he owes her for the PCU bet, but Dante and Gio are there, so he sends her away. Dante's suspicious about the reason for Selina's visit and doesn't fully buy Cody's claim that she wants him to come work with her again. Alexis confides in Curtis that she's worried about Scout now that Drew is being so...you know. Curtis advises her to spend as much time as she can with her granddaughter because Drew could easily move her to D.C. If that happens, Alexis plans to fight him for custody. Dr. Navarro gives Brook some reassurance that her teen pregnancy isn't the reason she and Chase are having trouble conceiving (which I guess Brook will just see as more justification not to tell Chase about it). Nina complains to Ava about Drew's hold over her daughter and wishes she knew how to break it. Ava has an idea: tell Willow that while she was falling for Drew, he was sleeping with her mother. Dante's worried that Lulu won't be able to forgive him for how things fell apart in Prague. He's annoyed that he can't rein her in, but Cody thinks that if he could, she wouldn't be someone he would have ever been interested in.

I feel like Chase could be the one to sort all this out. If so, he'll solidify his place as the best person in the whole town.

Not to expect compassion from Tracy or anything, but how about not kicking Carly while she's down?

Also, no way would Diane let Tracy get away with wielding so much power. She has no say in what happens with the kids!

LOL, Tracy still thinks Sonny and Carly hooked up in her bed.

That's all we get of selina, after all this time?? No fair.

I don't know why Alexis thinks a judge would take Scout away from Drew and give her to Alexis.

January 17th, 2025

Willow tells Sonny and Carly that she's finally thought about what's best for Michael and decided to grant them access to him. Portia announces that there's a spot open for Michael in Johns Hopkins' burn center, but Carly thinks the German clinic where Brennan might be able to get Michael treatment is a better option. Willow and Portia both disagree without even reviewing her information, and Sonny's just annoyed that she's trusting Brennan about anything. But they all agree that Michael should be the one to decide on his own treatment, and that Carly should be the one to ask him what he wants. Tracy won't listen to Chase's pleas for her to send Wiley and Amelia back to Willow, so he tries to shame her instead. That doesn't work, either, and the addition of Brook to the discussion doesn't make her budge. Drew gets Martin involved, and they show up at the mansion with a court order for Tracy to turn over the kids. The only problem is that Tracy sent them off with their nanny and doesn't know where they are. For violating a court order, Tracy gets arrested, and her struggle against the cop trying to handcuff her ups the charges to resisting arrest and striking an officer. Lulu and Brook have their umpteenth million snipe-fest, which is blessedly interrupted by Maxie. Lulu wants to take an assistant job at Deception, since she needs money to finance her search for Charlotte, but this will mean answering to Brook. She's willing to suck it up and do it, but she doesn't get how Maxie and Brook are friends now. Maxie's like, "Long story, let's just say Brook's not as bad as you think, and also, it's time for you to let this old hostility go because it's so not your color." Cody and Drew come close to having another fistfight, but Jordan steps in before either of them can get violent. She then spends most of the rest of the episode telling Drew how awful he is now, slamming him for how he treated Curtis, warning him that continuing his recent behavior will leave him all alone. (It's awesome.) Sidwell goes to Ava's gallery looking for décor for his new home, which he's delighted to learn (assuming he didn't already know, which is pretty likely) used to be Ava's. Ava's equally delighted to have a new client. Ric pastes on a fake smile, either because that's the only way he can smile or because Sidwell seems like he might be interested in Ava in a personal way. Cody gives Brad $50,000 to give Selina to cover his bet, but I guess there was more money involved because he's still $5,000 short. Lucas sees them talking, and Brad rushes to explain that he's just playing courier and has no connection to Selina's business. Ava wants Ric to get an emergency order for her to take custody of Avery, arguing that she could have been injured or killed in the fire at Sonny's. Ric's like, "As much as I would love to take my brother's child from him, no judge will go for that."

Sorry, but Tracy deserves this arrest. She basically held children hostage.

"I'm not familiar with this treatment, so I'm voting against it." Well, review it before you make that decision, Portia. Also, you're a doctor of internal medicine; you're hardly an expert on burn treatments.

Brook touched on something that I've been wondering about: Has anyone actually talked to Monica about what's best for the kids and/or Michael? I get the feeling that Tracy's been speaking for her, and that Monica actually has no idea what's going on.

Seriously, enough of Brook and Lulu's rivalry. No one wants to see this. Lulu has forgiven many other people for worse things than what Brook did to her more than 15 years ago.

I need at least five more scenes of Jordan yelling at Drew.

Lucas taught Brad the importance of honesty? He didn't understand it before they were together?

"There's no reason to make this personal," says the guy whose every decision over the past 25 years has been personal. Suck it, Ric.

Also, he doesn't think a judge would take a child from her father, who just had an explosive device planted in his home, while we're dealing with a storyline where a judge took children from their mother for [404 reasonable explanation not found]?

Prediction based on the previews for the next episode: Sonny has a heart attack while he's with Ava, and she contemplates letting him die so she can get full custody of Avery.

January 21st, 2025

Michael chooses to go to Germany, and Willow approves the transfer. Michael asks to see Sasha, but before she can get there, Portia has to sedate him again, which means no one other than Willow gets to talk to him before he leaves. Even the threat of jail time doesn't make Tracy spill Wiley and Amelia's location, since she doesn't think someone as rich and connected as she is will actually serve time. Martin and Drew push for her booking, but Anna doesn't want to spend time and energy on a stupid Quartermaine fight. Instead, she calls in Jason to get Tracy to tell him where the kids are. He fails, but he does get Tracy to admit that her only problem is with Drew, and she would have no problem with Willow getting the kids back if they stayed at the Quartermaines'. While he goes to see Willow and work something out, Martin reminds Anna that, as petty as she thinks the whole thing is, it's her job to prosecute crimes. Anna gives in and finally has Tracy taken to a holding cell. Drew tells Willow that Tracy won't budge about the kids, so her compromise with Carly and Sonny has left her with nothing. He convinces her that they manipulated her, and she worries that they'll be the reason she doesn't get her kids back. Good thing Drew is here to be her hero! Ava runs into Kristina and Alexis and goes from "I'm sorry about Michael" to "I will do anything to ensure the same thing doesn't happen to Avery, up to and including destroying Sonny" in about three minutes. Also, she's still going to make Kristina testify against Sonny at the custody trial. Alexis blasts Ava for making Kristina revisit the worst moments of her life over and over, and orders Ava to stay away from her. Ava then goes to Sonny to rant more about Avery's safety and vow to take her away. Sonny's only half-listening, since he's having chest pains, and after she leaves, he ends up on the floor, unable to reach his pills. Brennan tells Anna that the explosive at Sonny's was the kind used by government agencies, though he doubts that any of them were responsible here. Sasha's pregnancy brings back memories of Liam, but she's mostly feeling hopeful and happy. Maxie offers to provide support whenever she needs, since the baby's father isn't around to do it. Alexis meets Sidwell when she hands over ownership of Wyndemere (which she refuses to go back and visit). Maxie uses Michael's situation to warn Natalia away from getting too involved with Sonny.

'Bye, Michael. I was utterly indifferent to you and won't miss you.

What a dumb sendoff for a character who's been on for decades. No one got to say goodbye to him! His last scene was with freaking Willow!

Since Yuri's off with the kids, there's nothing stopping Jason from going to Monica and asking her to call Tracy off.

LOL at Tracy throwing paper into Martin's face and Michael Knight fumbling it off-camera while trying to catch it.

Also, no one thought to just call Yuri and ask where he is? Or have Spinelli track his phone?

How many parts of her job is Anna going to outsource to Jason?

"You know when I tased you the other day?" is such a funny thing to say.

January 22nd, 2025

Jason has a smart, unobjectionable solution to the while Wiley/Amelia mess: Willow moves back into the gatehouse with them, which allows them to be with her but also around the Quartermaines. Dante's fed up with Tracy, so when Lulu asks to try to get her to be reasonable, he gives her permission. Lulu doesn't succeed at first, but after Jason presents his compromise, she urges Tracy to back down and play the long game. If the police find the kids before she gives them up (not hard, since they're now at the gatehouse with Sasha), Willow could take off with them, but with Jason's negotiation in place, she'll stick around and Tracy can keep an eye on them. Lulu notes that Tracy's been telling her to be strategic about Charlotte, so now it's her turn to do the same. Tracy agrees, the charges against her are dropped, and Willow gets to go home to her kids. Drew wants her to question whether she can trust Jason and ensure that the Quartermaines won't find another way to take away her kids. She opts to give Jason the benefit of the doubt, since they both want what's best for the kids. After she goes home, Drew calls Martin and expresses his concerns about Willow needing someone to protect her and go to bat for her. Kristina and Lucky reopen Charlie's as just a bar, hopeful that their partnership will be as successful as the one their fathers once had. Cody gets drunk there and tries to blackmail $75,000 out of Spinelli. When Spinelli starts blasting him for acting out, Maxie and Kristina step in to defuse the situation, but Cody's too wound up. When Lucky intervenes, he takes a punch to the face. Cody ends the night at the PCPD just as Tracy's being released. Natalia finds Sonny, gets him his medication, and calls an ambulance. He refuses to go to the hospital, instead asking Natalia to call Isaiah. That just gets Sonny a lecture about not taking care of himself because he's too worried about what his enemies will do if they find out he's weak. Isaiah's surprise house call takes him away from a date with Jordan, and Brick is only too happy to take his place. Jordan's appreciative of how Brick responds to Cody's behavior, and I fear to see what that means for her feelings about them, whatever those are. Martin gives Lucky and Elizabeth a little insight into Cyrus' possible motives for murder: Their mother's health declined a couple years ago and Cyrus was ready to let her go, thinking she would be freed from suffering. Martin sought treatment and Florence recovered, so maybe Cyrus spends his time with terminal patients because he feels guilty about not being able to "save" his mother. Lucky and Elizabeth agree that that makes sense for any terminal patients he's killed, but not Sam and Dex, so there has to be something else at play here. Thanks, Felicia, but we don't need your input on parents' mistakes.

Willow was right to agree to Jason's idea, but part of me wishes she'd turned it down just on principle.

I'm happy to see Dante and Lulu back to their old dynamic where they bug each other but it's also obvious that they care about each other.

They can have Natalia save as many people as they want; I'm still not going to like her.

Please don't make me watch an Isaiah/Jordan/Brick love triangle.

January 23rd, 2025

Kristina has decided not to press charges against Cody if he pays for the damages at Charlie's, but Molly can't get him to agree to that. Mac gives him a parental talk about how he's been making bad decisions lately and needs to get himself together. Cody does his typical "I'm such a loser, you shouldn't bother with me" thing, and Mac tells him that won't drive him away. But he'll be spending the night in time-out, AKA lock-up, so he can think about what he's done. Felicia thinks that Cody will turn himself around after this, but Molly thinks he's just like Kristina, as they both act without thinking, and that nothing will ever make him change. Brick wants Sonny to solve his health problems ASAP, so he arranges for him to see a cardiologist in L.A. Natalia covers for him with Kristina, since he's unable to get to Charlie's to celebrate the reopening, and proves that she's a smooth liar. Laura takes back her support for Ava at her custody trial, not wanting to get involved when Sonny has so many ties to her family. That plus the underwhelming apartment Ric has found for Ava – the only thing available in her price range – lead Ava to complain that no one's in her corner. Ric warns that she's not in a good position for a long, drawn-out custody fight, which makes her guess that he'll be out the door if she can't pay him. Her pity party somehow makes her attractive, I guess, and they end up kissing. Lucy and Sidwell hang out at Charlie's, where Jordan recognizes his name and goes straight to Laura to tell her he's just walking around town like he's done nothing wrong. Lucy helps Sidwell arrange a meeting with Laura, as he thinks it would be a good idea to be friendly with the mayor of his new town (it's unclear whether he knows that he kidnapped that mayor's son not too long ago). Josslyn and Lucas share what they've learned and what they suspect about Cyrus, but they don't really get anywhere. Lucas thinks that he might back off now that he knows that Anna's keeping an eye on him. Josslyn knows better and is definitely going to wind up doing something she shouldn't to try to find out what Cyrus is up to. Lucky and Elizabeth are mostly filler, but after talking to Felicia about Cyrus, they decide to take their investigation to Turning Woods. Kristina tries to ease Alexis' fears that Charlie's has ties to Sonny's not-so-legitimate businesses.

Those Molly/Cody scenes were definitely only written to see if the actors have chemistry.

I can't tell if Ava is actually interested in Ric or is just stringing him along because it's all she can think to do to keep him from ditching her as a client.

Why build a new apartment set when Ava and Avery could have just moved into Finn's old place?

I'm going to see Jordan's sleeves in my nightmares.

January 24th, 2025

Tracy tries to set some ground rules with Willow, who practically laughs in her face, since Tracy can't make her do anything anymore. Tracy has to back down, but she does plan to enforce Drew's banishment from the Quartermaines' property if he ever comes by to see his girlfriend. Willow worries that she's made the wrong decision and should take the kids back to Nina's, but Nina convinces her to make a good-faith effort and let Tracy win this one. Drew wants Curtis to do a stock sale so he can get back some power at Aurora. Curtis refuses, knowing that Drew can just betray him again as soon as he's able. Plus, they'd be going behind Michael's back, and Drew's already done that enough. Drew's all, "Marriages end sometimes! People's feelings change! I didn't do anything wrong!" Curtis is like, "I don't know why you think I'm an idiot, but I'm never trusting you over anything ever again, and also, something is deeply wrong with you." Drew basically proves his point by more or less threatening to tank Aurora. Laura has Anna with her when Sidwell shows up for their meeting, and they tell him straight out that he's not welcome in Port Charles. But since they were apparently in a lawless wasteland when he committed his crimes in Africa, and somehow Sasha's kidnapping in town never got reported (??), Sidwell is, legally speaking, an innocent man. He has no intention of leaving town, and he vows to show the women that he's nothing like the person they've heard he is. Anna will be paying close attention to his actions, but as of now, her hands are tied. Brennan drops in on Carly in Germany as she's about to have a meltdown because the clinic won't let her see Michael. She confides that she blames herself for Michael's condition because she's the one who brought Sonny into their lives. Brennan makes some parallel between that and the loss of a friend on a mission long ago, which...okay, at least he has human feelings. Lulu asks again about working at Deception, but Maxie and Brook tell her it's not going to happen. Brook takes responsibility for the decision, admitting that she wouldn't be comfortable working with Lulu. Maxie finally says what the audience has been thinking about how their rivalry is ancient history, Brook has changed since everything went down, and it's time for them to move on. Brook credits Maxie with making Deception so successful and acknowledging that Lulu has been through some horrible things and deserves a break. Just as Brook and Lulu are about to finally call a truce, Tracy gets involved, declaring that Lulu gets the assistant job and refusing to take no for an answer. Stella's concerned that Kai's eagerness to get back to football will have him pushing himself and doing further harm. It's a moot point, though, because it turns out that Kai's career is over before it's even begun. Good thing he has Trina to cheer him up! Josslyn starts volunteering at Turning Woods so she can keep a closer eye on Cyrus.

Tracy needs to tread lightly with Willow. Willow has all the power here, and there's no way she cares more about Monica's feelings than her own.

Notice how Drew talks about his relationship with Willow in terms of her developing feelings for someone other than her husband and her making the decision to leave, not acknowledging that he pursued his nephew's wife.

I don't think it counts as founding a company when you bought it from someone else and rebranded it.

Jason should have gone to Germany with Carly. I don't get why everyone's so casual about the fact that Michael has been taken out of the country for who knows how long and seems to think Carly can handle it all on her own. But of course they had to manipulate things so Carly could spend time with Brennan. Sigh.

The contrivance of Sidwell being a free man is even more ridiculous than it was for Jerry. Like, at least he pretended to be his own twin and framed Emily for federal crimes to stick around. Sidwell's only in town because Anna sucks at her job, apparently.s

I'm going to guess that the friend Brennan mentioned losing in the line of duty was named Pikeman.

January 27th, 2025

Lucky and Elizabeth arrange to meet a nurse she knows who now works at Turning Woods so they can get a list of the patients Cyrus has visited. The nurse is out sick, but another agrees to help when they get her to believe that they're big Cyrus fans. The head of the facility runs into them just before they get the list, so Lucky distracts him with threats of a lawsuit so Elizabeth can grab it. Laura worries that Lucky's going to channel his father, go after Sidwell, and disappear again. Lulu realizes that she's been really self-centered since waking up and hasn't thought about how difficult the past few years have been for her mother. Sonny and Natalia have booked a trip to L.A. with the cover of meeting with someone about Deception business. Natalia gaslights Lucy into thinking they've discussed this before, then comes up with reasons she's not invited along. Kristina finds the timing of the trip strange, but she's more focused on taking down Ava than whatever her father is up to. Anna tells Jason that Sidwell's in town and needs to be left alone. Jason suspects that Sidwell was behind the bomb at Sonny's, and if he confirms that, he plans to ignore Anna and get revenge on Michael's behalf. He's distressed about having witnessed what happened to someone he thinks of as a son, and he's frustrated that he can't do more to help. Anna points out that he'll be even less helpful if he goes to prison, then notes that retaliation could result in more innocent people getting hurt. Nina complains to Curtis about the Drew/Willow mess, and he encourages her again to tell Willow that they were both sleeping with Drew at the same time. Nina definitely doesn't want Willow to learn that from anyone else, but even more, she doesn't want Willow to learn it at all, so for now, she's not going to do anything. As for Curtis' news that Drew has threatened Aurora, Nina has some connections and is willing to help Curtis with his plan to sabotage Drew's political career. She warns that Drew could easily try to destroy Curtis, but Curtis isn't worried since he has no secrets or anything that can be used against him. Just as Tracy intended, Drew has been banished from the Quartermaines', and Monica won't even take his calls. Instead of interpreting this as the rock-bottom moment it is, Drew tells Martin that the family must not have ever really considered him one of them. He's ready to find a new place to live, and he asks Lucy to find him a huge house, as he sees a future where Willow and her kids move in. Chase visits Willow and basically just enables all her behavior, so bleh. Then he finds out he can't father a baby.

Natalia is surprisingly bad at coming up with lies on the fly.

Sonny should have come up with a better excuse for missing the reopening of Charlie's, because now Kristina's going to think that he puts work ahead of her.

I don't like how friendly Natalia and Kristina are now.

Dear every soap, storylines about characters not being able to have children are played out. They've been played out for years. Stop it.

January 28th, 2025

Carly hangs out with Brennan again, asking why he keeps seeking her out and helping her. He tells her that he originally came to Port Charles on a mission, but he scrapped it when she visited him at Pentonville. He basically acknowledges that she's been taking advantage of his resources and assistance, but he doesn't mind. Carly calls Felicia for help getting something sent from GH to the German clinic, which Brennan is again going to facilitate. Felicia warns her not to trust Brennan too much, based on what Anna's said about him. Carly tells Felicia that she finds Brennan interesting and wants to know more about him. She'd better work fast, because Valentin has tracked Brennan down in the hotel's spa and is about to kill him. Brook shares with Lois that her fertility tests came back good. She confides that she was starting to think that the baby she placed for adoption as a teenager was the only baby she would ever have. Lois is worried that Brook felt pressured to give up her child, but Brook appreciates how Lois guided her through everything, and she believes she did what was best for both her and her child. More details start to come to light, like that Brook doesn't know what happened to her child and never even found out if she had a boy or a girl, so if Gio really is her son, Lois is the only one who knows. Tracy, who has learned nothing, gets into it with Sasha about something stupid. Jason and Ned intervene, and Ned tells Tracy to back off of both Sasha and Willow. Though he agrees that they need to keep Willow and Drew apart, being nasty to Willow will just drive her away and undo everything Jason worked out. Tracy gets theatrical when she spies a mouse, and she orders Sasha to hunt it down and get rid of it. Sasha refuses to climb bookshelves for her crazy boss and reveals that she's pregnant. Jason quickly puts together that Michael is the father. And then, after all the Quartermaine family drama, Chase has to end Brook's day on a bad note by revealing that he can't father a child. Portia breaks the news to Alexis that Sam was deliberately given a lethal dose of digitalis. There isn't much more information on what happened, and Isaiah can't fill in any more details, but it's enough for Alexis to commit to finding out more and ensuring her daughter gets justice. Felicia tells Anna that she saw Emma outside a club at 2 a.m. a few nights ago. Anna's frustrated because Emma told her she was going to study and go to bed early that night. When confronted, Emma explains that she was at a fundraiser to fight animal cruelty. This doesn't help Anna's established distrust of her granddaughter, but she agrees to go clubbing with Emma if Emma gets straight A's this semester. Kai's down because he's gone from NFL prospect to nobody in just a few days, but Trina thinks he should look into all his options and possibilities before he accepts that his career won't happen. She asks Portia to talk to him, and though Portia doesn't specialize in the areas he needs and doesn't know much about his case, she encourages him to get second and even third opinions, just in case. Now Kai likes both Robinson women.

Brook doesn't even know if she had a boy or a girl? Come on!

"You're drifting dangerously close to an HR complaint." Ha! Who runs the Quartermaines' HR department? Probably Olivia.

When Ned said that no one in the house can claim never to have had an affair, I wish Chase had raised his hand.

At first it looked like Brook was a little jealous about Sasha's pregnancy, so I liked that later she said she wants to have a baby quickly so the kids can play together.

I'm guessing that for once in her life, Alexis is going to look the other way and let Sonny do whatever he wants when she finds out that Cyrus killed Sam.

January 29th, 2025

Carly saves Brennan from Valentin, who takes off before anyone can stop him and now has a kill-on-sight order hanging over him. Brennan repays Carly's heroics with a make-out session. As upset as Chase is that he can't have a baby with Brook, she's even more upset about him feeling like he's failed her. Since Chase is disappointed that Brook might never get to experience being pregnant, she considers telling him that she's already been through that. Sasha's not pleased that Jason knows her secrets, but he promises to keep the baby's paternity to himself. He seems uneasy about keeping the news from Sonny and Carly, but he agrees that if Willow knew that Michael got someone else pregnant while they were married, she could make a play for full custody of Wiley and Amelia. Sasha feels the baby move for the first time and lets Jason feel, which makes it the worst possible time for Cody, who's just learned of the pregnancy from Gio, to come across them. Portia informs Anna that there's been a pattern of deaths at the hospital that indicates there's a killer on the loose. Anna in turn informs Dante that Sam was murdered. Lois and Olivia drag Tracy out for a manicure in an attempt to get her to chill out. It doesn't work, and a run-in with Martin just riles her up again. It turns out that Martin's biggest problem with Tracy is how she interfered with his relationship with Lucy. Tracy laughs at him about that, since if she hadn't gotten involved, Lucy would probably still be cheating on him. Lulu finally runs into Anna and brings up that little thing about how Anna shot Charlotte. Anna's genuine regret and everyone's insistence that it was an accident lead to Lulu saying there are no hard feelings. Gio sees another side of Emma when she recruits him to perform at an animal-rights fundraiser, something she's passionate about. Dante and Lulu butt heads a little about her recent choices, but the elephant in the room is that she thinks he blames her for Sam's death. He assures her that he doesn't, thought he acknowledges that Lulu's awakening has complicated his life. That said, he'll never be sorry that she's back.

Ugh, I hate it when Carly's involved with someone Jason doesn't like.

What is this, the third time Jason's getting sucked into a story with a woman who's pregnant with someone else's child?

Let the record show that Lulu has forgiven Anna for shooting Charlotte but hasn't forgiven Brook for something stupid she did 15 years ago.

I really appreciated Emma mentioning that she was close to Sam when she was a kid.

January 30th, 2025

Sasha rejects all of Jason's offers of help, adamant that she can raise her child on her own, as she's always planned. Jason wants to confirm with Michael that he's willing to stay out of his child's life, which doesn't sound to Jason like something he would do. He fills Diane in, and she agrees that it would be best to consult Michael about what he wants. Seeing Sasha and Jason talking has made Cody think that Jason is the baby's father, speculation he shares with Maxie and Lulu as if it's fact. Carly doesn't want to rush into having sex with Brennan just because they faced a dangerous situation together, but he claims that's not what he's looking for anyway. She does allow more kissing, though, after they discuss Valentin, his long-ago friendship with Brennan, and the loyalty Brennan showed Valentin for years, up until his former friend tried to kill him. Learning that Sam was murdered has greatly set back Alexis' grief, and it's kind of miraculous that she hasn't gone out and gotten drunk yet. Diane offers her encouragement and assures her that she's strong enough to get through this. Alexis tells Molly and Kristina the news, which they find almost as painful as Sam's death itself. They once again vow to stay united while they figure out how to inform Danny and navigate whatever comes next. Brook debates the pros and cons of telling Chase about her teen pregnancy, a big con being that he would have to keep it a secret from the father, who's confirmed to be Dante. Lois is going to support whatever Brook decides to do, but if you ask me, she'd prefer if this all stayed a secret. Lulu admits to Maxie that she's still in love with Dante, which Maxie isn't the slightest bit surprised about. The problem is that Lulu can't really say anything right now, what with Dante mourning his late fiancée, who Lulu now knows was murdered while in the hospital for surgery that saved Lulu's life. Chase runs into Dante, who would be the perfect person to talk to about his discovery that he can't father a child, if only Dante weren't struggling with the news that his fiancée was murdered and his brother almost suffered the same fate. Dante predicts that for the rest of his life, every time he looks at Lulu, he'll be reminded of Sam and what he lost. Cody and Molly's enemies-to-lovers thing makes another appearance, so...I guess that's happening.

People thinking that Jason is the father of Sasha and Michael's baby could lead to some fun stuff, especially since one of the people under that impression is Maxie.

You can chill out any time, Sasha. Jason isn't your enemy.

If Brennan is going to be around long-term, which looks like the show's intention, I don't think there's going to be a place for Valentin. It's time to write him out.

The math still doesn't work for Dante to be the father of Brook's child.

Poor Chase wanted to work out his feelings about his problems, but instead, he ran into someone who's having bigger problems.

January 31st, 2025

Dante's furious when Anna takes steps to keep him from accessing anything connected to Sam's murder investigation. He thinks he's the best person to solve the case, but Anna points out that his involvement could compromise an eventual trial. Dante goes looking for Cody but instead finds Brook, who's just finished confirming that Cody never told Dante about her pregnancy, because apparently he's known this whole time?? Anyway, Dante confides that he blames himself for Sam's death. Brook offers him comfort, and of course Lulu walks in and sees them hugging. Drew is stalling the esplanade project Aurora and Jordan have been working on, so Jordan confronts him. He brings up Curtis, so she guesses that he wants Curtis to do something for him before he'll let the project progress. Drew claims that there's actually an environmental reason for the delay, and he's just trying to do what's best for his constituents. Curtis and Jordan both know he's full of it, and Curtis makes it clear that he's ready for anything Drew pulls. In fact, Curtis is thinking so far ahead of Drew and how to circumvent him that he has time to plan Aurora's future. He wants to open resorts in international locations, which is a great excuse for a trip to Bermuda with Portia. Ava thinks that Ric is working for her pro bono, but he makes sure she knows that their kiss had nothing to do with her ability or inability to pay him. They're still thick as thieves, though, and they offer up a visitation agreement for Sonny that involves Ava getting full custody of Avery. Diane laughs in their faces before she even reads the whole thing. Ric warns that they'll proceed with the trial and he'll put Kristina on the stand as planned. Kristina calmly tells him to bring it on, determined to take Ava's daughter from her the way she believes Ava took Irene from her. Ava's disheartened that things are continuing, since Sonny has the resources to drag this out as long as he wants. But Ric noticed something off about Sonny, whose heart problems reared up during the encounter, and he doesn't think Sonny's up for a drawn-out battle. Laura guesses that Lulu's still in love with Dante, but Lulu isn't sure that there's room for her in his life after what he had with Sam. Also, she's worried that he'll always see her as the reason Sam died. Trina and Stella's earlier encouragement haven't had a long-term effect on Kai, who I guess is in the depression stage of mourning his NFL career. Trina tries to get him to see the positives that are still out there, but he's not very receptive. Cody goes to the PCPD to talk to Mac, who isn't there, and instead asks Anna to help him contact Robert. After scaring her a little by telling her that Sasha's gotten herself into trouble, he blurts out that Sasha's pregnant and Jason's the father. Brad seems really confident that he can win Lucas back, and it helps him convince Portia to give him an extra vacation day while he's at the conference with Lucas.

Was Sonny's attack on Dex ever made part of any record? I imagine it would be pretty easy for Diane to get anything about that dismissed from custody proceedings.

I love so much that Jordan has no patience for Drew and won't play his games.

If I were Curtis, I would be very tempted to use my media company to expose Drew for stalling the esplanade project and rile up his constituents.

If Stella said the same things to Kai that Trina did, he would be thanking her and calling her wise instead of saying she's not helping. Seems like someone doesn't want his crush to see him as weak or a failure.

Brad's pretty gutsy/dumb to work out at Sonny's gym.
