December 2nd, 2024

Lulu's stunned to learn that she was in a coma for four years, but her happiness at being reunited with Rocco helps. Dante shows up next and is so surprised that he forgets to be happy. Poor Danny overhears the family reunion as Rocco gets what he's been hoping for. Molly tells T.J. that she now believes that Irene's death was an accident, which angers him, since what would his life be about if he didn't spend his time blaming Ava and Kristina? He finally gets Molly to open up about her feelings after Irene's death, but unfortunately for him, those feelings include not wanting to have children anymore. Both are devastated by the thought of their relationship being over. Jason informs Drew that he's moving into the mansion, to which Drew replies that he and Scout will immediately be moving to D.C. Carly gets involved and orders the guys to put aside their view for the kids. Jason's already doing that, of course, but Drew actually listens and agrees to a truce. Alexis tears into Ric for the way he treated Kristina, but he once again makes it about her apparent favoring of Kristina over Molly. A lot of old stuff comes up and Alexis tells Ric he's a horrible father and an even worse person. Lucky brings Laura up to date on what's been going on with Lulu, but neither has any idea where she is. Laura confirms that she didn't give Cyrus permission to visit Lulu, let alone authority to make decisions about her care. Kristina isn't sure what she'll do if Ava's found not guilty and she never feels peace about Irene's death. Sonny more or less tells her that if justice fails her, he'll kill Ava.

I forgot that Rocco said he wanted to be the first person Lulu saw when she woke up. He wasn't, exactly, but he was the first person she knew. He deserved it.

So Maxie and Spinelli didn't call anyone to tell them that Lulu was at their house?

I call bull over Lulu going to see Tracy instead of Laura. Also, Tracy had moved out of the country when Lulu went into the coma and didn't come back until just afterward.

Let's all agree not to tell Charlotte that Lulu didn't mention her even a single time today.

They've ruined T.J. so thoroughly that I don't even care if he and Molly are done.

I could watch Alexis/Ric scenes all day. Just turn those two actors loose and let them do whatever they're gonna do. You'll get good stuff.

I was kind of annoyed that Carly got in the middle of the Jason/Drew stuff, but it turned out to be a good thing.

December 3rd, 2024

Lucky and Lulu have a nice reunion that quickly turns sad when he has to break the news that Luke's dead, Nikolas is in prison, Sam and Dante were dating, and Sam died after being Lulu's liver donor. Molly blames her and T.J.'s possible breakup on Ric, which, while not completely accurate, I'll allow. She's equally upset about the potential end of her relationship and the way Ric treated Kristina. He seems to feel bad about it now, but it's too late, and she wants nothing to do with him for the foreseeable future. Danny confides to Jason and Carly that he's jealous that Rocco got his mother back while his own is gone. He's happy for his sort-of brother, though, and doesn't want Rocco to see how he really feels. Carly and Jason give him encouragement and offer support as he navigates the complicated emotions he's facing. Maxie correctly interprets that while Dante's happy that Lulu's okay, he can't put aside his grief over Sam. Maxie advises him not to hide that around Lulu, since that sort of thing has turned out badly for him in the past. Dante doesn't think it'll affect Lulu that much anyway, since as far as he knows, she was about to move on with Dustin when she fell into the coma. Maxie keeps quiet about the truth about that whole situation. Laura confronts Cyrus for all the stuff he did behind her back and warns that she's going to get a restraining order so he has to stay away from everyone in her family. Anna takes things a step further by sticking him in a holding cell for the night, which might not actually be legal. Then she's like, "I guess now I really do have to find Charlotte," like, at least someone's thinking about her, because Lulu didn't mention her once. Sonny tells Natalia that he knows she perjured herself for Kristina's sake and he really appreciates it. Natalia thinks it's the least she could do after the harm she caused Kristina and Blaze, because I guess she's a good person now?

Lucky had to do a lot of heavy lifting today with regards to giving Lulu bad news. Let's have someone else handle the rest. Then again, he wouldn't have had to do it all himself if he hadn't waited so long to call Laura.

I guess when Holly left town, she took everyone's memories of Ethan with her, because Lulu didn't think of him as a possible donor.

Maxie: "Just how far down the list am I?" Dante: "You really want me to answer that?" Hee hee. Also, if it makes her feel better, she'll probably get to see Lulu before Charlotte does.

The funny (not ha-ha funny) thing is that Ric actually accomplished his goal of convincing Molly that Irene's death was an accident. I wonder if it was worth it.

Doesn't Cyrus' attempt to have Lulu moved to another state qualify as attempted kidnapping?

December 4th, 2024

Laura is the next person to get to see Lulu and then ruin the mood with bad news (Charlotte's MIA and Spencer's dead). Lulu wants to head right out and look for Charlotte, but considering that she just had major surgery, not to mention that she just woke up from a four-year coma, Laura puts a stop to that right away. Molly and T.J. share their relationship woes with their mothers (and Curtis, on T.J.'s part) and lament that they don't think they can fix things. T.J. wonders if he could have halted a breakup if he'd taken Stella's advice earlier and shared his feelings with Molly. Then again, if they want different things now, he knows there's no hope for reconciliation. Ric is feeling uncertain about the jury verdict, even though Alexis' outburst may have helped Ava out. He thinks the jury could convict Ava just to get back at him for how he treated Kristina. Ava tells him she's pretty sure that he convinced Molly that Irene's death was an accident, so at least that's something. Still unable to grasp all his current feelings, Dante chooses to drink beer with Cody. I'm not sure it helps, but at least he finds out that Cody is the person Lulu hitched a ride with. Brook puts in a good effort to pretend to be happy when she learns that Lulu's awake, and Dante explains to Cody that she tried to break up him and Lulu a few years ago. Also, apparently Brook was at a girls' camp while the guys were at camp together, and she and Dante had a fling, so I think we're in for some retconning and age alterations. Anna's feeling pressured to find Charlotte, and she's still beating herself up over accidentally shooting her. Jason urges her to get past that and her guilt over helping Valentin flee the country, which Jason notes is just as much his fault as hers. He promises that they'll find Charlotte together and says he has a plan to offer Valentin an incentive to bring Charlotte home. Curtis tells Jordan that he now has proof that Drew is planning to screw him over (and also tells her about the Drew/Willow stuff because he sees no reason to protect his so-called friend anymore). Jordan warns him not to trust Michael, since he likely won't have Curtis' best interests in mind, but she also advises him to find a way to mess with both of them.

Someone please tell Lulu that Bobbie died. I think that's the last big piece of news that she hasn't heard yet. Let's get it all out there so she can stop being blindsided every ten minutes.

Kevin's relationship with his stepkids has never seemed all that warm, so I was happy with how he and Lulu acted with each other today.

Oh, now Dante and Brook had a fling at camp? And Brook knew Cody? Sigh. Also, now that camp has been mentioned, the show is legally obligated to tell us the secret the guys have been keeping since then.

"We are going to find Charlotte together." Okay, well, do me a favor and stay at least five feet apart at all times.

Ooh, I want to see Curtis mess with Michael and Drew. Bonus points if Jordan gets involved.

December 5th, 2024

Jason asks Brennan to reach out to Valentin and offer a chance to meet up so Jason can retrieve Charlotte. Anna then sends Carly to Brennan to plant a bug in his office. Jason isn't happy that she's gotten Carly involved, and he's even less happy that Carly won't accept that Brennan is a bad person. Spinelli reminds everyone that they're on the same team and should focus on getting Charlotte home. Brennan's second in command, Colette, is suspicious of Carly and thinks she could be a distraction. Brennan definitely doesn't mind that, and he doesn't suspect her of anything, which is why the bug captures him calling someone who is probably Valentin to share that someone made him an offer with regard to Charlotte. Molly has already moved all her stuff out of her and T.J.'s apartment and is setting up camp at Alexis' house. Alexis tries to get her to stop blaming herself for various things that have happened and properly mourn the end of her years-long relationship. Curtis warns T.J. not to let his anger over his and Molly's split color his feelings about her. Since he and Jordan were able to get past their issues from their marriage and become friends, he thinks Molly and T.J. could do the same. When T.J. goes to give Molly something she left in the apartment, they show that they're able to put any animosity they have aside and wish each other well. Kristina thanks Natalia for perjuring herself for Kristina's sake, though Natalia won't fully admit that that's what she did. Kristina would like her to confirm what really happened because if she's misremembering things, she might also be misremembering what happened in Ava's hotel room. Natalia figures that if Ava's a horrible person, she did the horrible thing she's been accused of, so Kristina's right to accuse her of it. Also, she regrets all the stuff with Blaze and now I guess she's not a bigot anymore? Jordan thinks that Isaiah should negotiate the contract he's been offered to work at GH, since he deserves the best and they can afford to pay that. Isaiah feels like healing people is its own reward and it wouldn't be right to ask for anything excessive. Jordan tries to convince him to indulge a little, but it seems like all he wants is to have dinner with her. Dante's worried that Scout and Danny will resent Rocco now that Lulu's back, and he won't be able to help the three kids maintain their relationships or find a space for Lulu in the world they've built. Sonny suggests that they start having family meals like the Corinthoses used to have, and he tells Dante it's okay for him to be happy about having Lulu back even while he's mourning Sam.

Carly, I need you to stop being so naïve. Jason, when you prove that Brennan's a bad guy, I'm going to allow you to say, "I told you so." But also, you of all people know better than to tell her not to do something; it's just going to make her want to do it more.

Why is Jason the intermediary here? They should send Nina to get Charlotte. And what was the incentive Jason said he was going to offer Valentin? I didn't hear an incentive.

No way would Brennan think Carly planted the bug. Obviously he'll think it was Jason.

You know what I'm not hearing from T.J.? Any sympathy over the fact that Molly just lost her sister.

Instead of another stab at redeeming Natalia, it would have been nice if Kristina's scenes today had been about her preparing herself in case Ava doesn't get convicted.

Everything Isaiah says to Jordan has an undercurrent of "I would like to see you naked," and I kind of love it.

Strange that Jordan described Lulu to Isaiah as the ex of one of her detectives instead of her boss' daughter.

December 6th, 2024

The jury finds Ava not guilty, and Kristina's definitely not prepared, since, despite what she said to Natalia about not trusting her memory, she's convinced herself that Ava pushed her. To make things worse, she overhears T.J. fighting with Molly over not expressing her feelings about the verdict and his assumption that she's satisfied with it. Kristina takes it personally that Molly believes Ava's story over hers and can't understand why Molly thinks it was all an accident. When Molly says she's stopped blaming Kristina, Kristina doesn't take the opportunity to make up with her, instead saying that Molly was never really Irene's mother. Molly understandably declares herself done with her sister. There's pressure on Lois to turn a Home & Heart appearance into big sales, and Brook and Maxie aren't sure she's up to the task. A friend of Lois' calls in to ask if she dropped her accent because she's ashamed of where she comes from. This finally snaps Lois out of her whole accent thing and gets her to be herself again. In addition, she gets a ton of sales, so hopefully all that nonsense is over for good. Brad wants to go to a symposium in Miami that Lucas will be attending, and when Portia shuts him down, he considers blackmailing her into letting him go. But Stella has become Brad's new confidante and advice giver, and he actually listens when she urges him to be a better person. Stella ends up inadvertently heading off any potential mess by counseling Portia to be more professional about Brad, especially since he hasn't done anything to earn her animosity (well, anything beyond the stuff he's already done). Sonny pushes back when Ava tries to make arrangements to see Avery, and Alexis and Ric jump into the argument (and, of course, make it personal about each other). And then it just ends and Sonny agrees to let Ava see Avery, and whatever, this is just going to go on forever. T.J. isn't sure what to do with himself, so he goes to work, where Lucas suggests that he not take on a job that can lead to death if he makes a mistake while he's upset. He also offers up his friendship, which means T.J. now has a new person to complain about Molly to. Kai is prioritizing some big football game over his project with Trina, so just as she was starting to like him, she now sees him as an obstacle she has to overcome again. Despite being positioned just weeks ago for any number of potential storylines, Elizabeth has nothing to do, so she's the episode's filler.

I'm Team Molly now and possibly forever. Kristina went way too far.

Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is no more Home & Heart crap.

Poor Stella, having to listen to Brad whine. She deserves better.

They completely skipped Thanksgiving. Booooo.

December 9th, 2024

Lucky and Elizabeth get nostalgic while getting and decorating a Christmas tree, and let's just say that I won't be surprised if they wind up kissing on New Year's Eve (or possibly sooner). Aware of Laura's restraining order against Cyrus, Dex is suspicious that he was at the hospital on Halloween. Cyrus says he was giving kids candy, but Dex knows that he was on the floor Lulu was on. Cyrus swears that he wasn't there to see her. A flashback shows that he's telling the truth, but only because he was there to murder Sam. Molly decides to move out of Alexis' so it doesn't look like Alexis is choosing her over Kristina. Alexis basically says that Kristina can deal, and it's Molly's turn to get her mother's full attention. Molly's worried that Kristina will cut Alexis off, but Alexis thinks that the verdict in Ava's trial was fair, so Kristina's going to be mad for one reason or another, and why not let Molly hang out with her mother and save some money while her sister seethes? Sonny tries to distract Kristina from her numerous issues by asking her to run Charlie's (since Phyllis moved back to Nixon Falls off-screen). Laura spends a lot of time recapping the Lulu stuff for Martin, then tells him that she knows exactly what her daughter is going through because she also spent years unconscious and had to adjust to a different life. She's also disappointed in herself for not seeing Valentin as a threat or stopping him from leaving with Charlotte. Josslyn, Trina, Dex, and Gio do Christmas stuff together, and everyone's happy and having fun until Gio starts talking about Falconeri traditions. Dex gets a little blue, and Josslyn correctly guesses it's because he only has bad childhood memories. Mistletoe and sex to the rescue!

Congratulations to anyone who likes Lucky and Elizabeth together. I'm just bored.

I'm not surprised that Cyrus killed Sam – I'd read something about that possibility – but I can't figure out why.

Molly's a better person than I am, because I would definitely not be thinking about Kristina's feelings right now.

Sonny...sigh. Why would you call the youth center Kristina's baby?

I guess Martin had the same accent-related epiphany as Lois, because he's talking normally again.

December 10th, 2024

Dex breaks up a fight between drunk college students near a Christmas tree lot, then gets stabbed in the back while he's off by himself. Cyrus and Felicia are witnesses, and while Cyrus claims not to have seen anything, Felicia is able to provide Chase with lots of details. She feels like there's something she's forgetting, though. Dex is taken to the hospital and sent to surgery, but his condition isn't serious, and Lucas doesn't think his recovery will take long. Lulu thinks that Nina knows where Valentin and Charlotte are, so she demands information. Her and Nina's rivalry may have lain dormant for four years, but it's back in full force, and when Lulu doesn't buy Nina's claim that she knows nothing, Nina lets her employees call Carly to come remove her from her office. Carly and Lulu quickly make up (I don't even remember why their relationship was strained four years ago, so whatever) and Carly points Lulu at Brennan to bug him about finding Charlotte. Curtis asks Drew to start the process of installing him as Aurora's CEO right now. Drew stalls and implies that things are going to go exactly as Curtis expects. Now Curtis knows for sure that Drew's going to screw him over, so Michael asks if he's ready to team up to take down Aurora. Curtis wants to do things his way instead, so Drew is the only casualty and Aurora is unharmed. Brennan busts Carly for the bug in his office, hurt because she doesn't trust him, as if he hasn't proven himself to be untrustworthy multiple times. She points out that since she heard him on the phone with Valentin, she was right that he was lying about not being able to contact him. Brennan's all, "I called him for you, and now I've done five nice things for you, which means you're now obligated to believe every word I say to you." Sasha tells Maxie that she's going to keep the baby, which makes Maxie very excited for her. Sasha's sticking to her story that the father was a guy she had a one-night stand with, so he'll never know about her pregnancy. Willow comes in while they're talking and Maxie's like, "Good thing I wore my favorite Cartullo sweater because it just got really cold in here." Sasha fills her in while expressing no regret over telling Cody about Willow and Drew, and saying that Willow's just misdirecting her anger at herself over screwing up her life so much. Kai came through for Trina on their project, turning in work that she admits to Josslyn might be better than her own. She acknowledges that she misjudged Kai, and after Josslyn tells her how much work he has to do to be an elite athlete, Trina sees him in a different way. Willow has decided to tell Michael that she slept with Drew, though she's going to wait until after Christmas so Wiley can have one last happy family holiday in case she and Michael split up. Drew supports her desire to do what she thinks is right. Brad takes zero hints from Lucas while trying to strike up a conversation with him, and Lucas' defenses are way down, so I think their time at the symposium might end in a way I don't want it to.

Back-stabbing again? Does anyone have eyes on Heather?

I didn't realize until today how much I like Dex. I think I just enjoy truly nice characters, like Chase. I also can't trust the show not to kill people off without warning.

When do we find out that, like, Charlotte activated Drew and that's why he's undergone a total personality change?

Like I said before, it makes no sense that Brennan would suspect Carly of planting the bug instead of Jason.

Does this mean that Sasha's not going to tell Michael that he's the baby's father? Girl, get that child support!

December 11th, 2024

Lulu gets Brennan to call a number he has for Valentin, but Valentin doesn't answer and the phone is untraceable, so she doesn't get anywhere. Carly advises Lulu to calm down a little, which, coming from Carly, is pretty funny. In better news, Lulu finally reunites with Maxie and they catch up a little. Plus, knowing that Spinelli's looking for Charlotte reassures Lulu that she'll be back soon. Jason and Anna give Martin a little good cop/bad cop, though Anna's good cop isn't really that good, and it's more accurate to say that they just kidnap him and demand that he tell them anything he knows about Valentin's whereabouts. He swears that he doesn't actually know anything, and he seems to be telling the truth. Carly shows up and won't leave when Jason tries to exclude her from any crimes he might be in the process of committing. She still thinks she's an asset because of her connection to Brennan, though it's clear that he's not going to provide any assistance. In fact, without any help from him, Spinelli gets a tip that Valentin is in Zurich. Colette is surprised that Brennan isn't more eager to keep anyone from tracking down Valentin. Brennan explains that he's just letting Spinelli and company do the work, and he'll swoop in and intercept Valentin once they've found him. He realizes that Charlotte is more likely to draw attention to herself and her father than Valentin is, so he and Colette start monitoring her social media and anyone she might have contact with. Dex is clueless about who stabbed him or why, only thinking he may have been targeted because he's a cop. Josslyn suspects that Sonny was behind his attack, but Dex is pretty confident that Sonny has moved on and isn't a threat. Curtis lets Jordan know that he's now sure about Drew's intentions, so he's taking Drew down. He also tells Portia everything, and of course, Portia's not thrilled that he talked to Jordan about it all first. But she fully supports Curtis' decision to get revenge, and it seems like he has a plan already set out, so this could get fun. Drew tells Nina that he's going to make Michael CEO instead of Curtis, which frustrates her, since Curtis doesn't deserve what Drew's doing to him. Drew thinks she should be happy since Michael will get what he wants, which will make things better for him and Willow. Nina accuses him of using business to bury his indiscretions at the expense of one of his closest friends. Drew can't read the room and asks her to help smooth things over with Curtis. Jordan wants to make sure that Port Charles residents don't think they'll be in danger if they go do holiday stuff around where Dex was stabbed, so she decides to pay a visits herself. As a couple of added bonuses, she'll get some Christmas shopping done and it gives her an excuse to hang out with Isaiah.

I want to see Maxie, Lulu, Sasha, and Brook all become friends.

Let's not act like Valentin kidnapped Charlotte. He has full custody of her. He was within his rights to take her with him. And honestly, if he hadn't, I bet everyone would be blasting him for abandoning her.

I loved Martin waving a hand in front of Jason's face when Jason was giving him a Stone Cold stare. I also enjoyed him freezing during a rant so Jason could use facial recognition to unlock his phone.

Josslyn thought that Dex would be safe as a cop? Really?

December 12th, 2024

Olivia throws a party at the Quartermaines' at basically the worst possible time, what with the love triangles and secret pregnancies and animosity everyone's holding against each other. Basically the only people who aren't resentful or secretive are Carly (who's just curious why Drew and Willow are being weird), Josslyn, Trina, and Gio, the latter three of whom are focused on the big Port Charles/Llanview football game. Michael tells Sasha that he's going to come clean to Willow about his affair after Christmas, but he'll leave Sasha's name out of it. Drew and Willow have everyone on edge, and Nina even pulls Drew aside to blast him for talking to Willow. She's even more upset when he says that he's trying to arrange time for Willow to spend with Scout, since it sure sounds like he's using his suddenly motherless daughter as an excuse to talk to Willow. Tracy thinks this is the perfect time to get rid of Drew, and she bugs Ned to work with her to do something. He's too into the game to assist, but Tracy gets her Christmas wish anyway, though it's not clear if it's intentional or not: Michael's streaming the game from his phone to the TV, and while fumbling with the phone, Tracy plays the nanny-cam footage of Willow and Drew hooking up. Alexis just can't keep herself from trying to convince Kristina to be more understanding of Molly's feelings. She also calls Kristina out on her attitude about Molly not being a mother, which Kristina does seem at least a tiny bit sorry about. But Kristina refuses to accept that Molly might be grieving Irene just because she's not doing it the way everyone else is, and she won't budge on ending their feud. Sonny and Natalia have dinner together and discuss her bad relationship with her kids vs. his great relationship with his. Ric and Ava are there, and Sonny talks to Natalia a little about how annoying Ric is and how he shouldn't be underestimated. Natalia's confident that Sonny will win the custody battle, but Sonny knows that, with how rich both he and Ava are, they could continue fighting each other until they're both bankrupt. That might happen sooner rather than later for one of them, as Ava's credit card gets declined after she pays for dinner with Ric (which means the flirting they're doing probably isn't going to lead to anything tonight). Dex is in great spirits despite being in the hospital, and he tells Felicia that he feels much more noble than he did the last time he was injured in the line of duty (since he was working for Sonny last time).

Santa, please bring Tracy extra presents this year. She's been a very good girl.

Also, it's adorable how badly she wants to see Lulu.

When Tracy told Brook and Chase to get a room, Brook should have said they'd go to Tracy's room.

There's no way there aren't a bunch of kids hiding on the staircase, hoping to hear what's going on at the party.

With all the talk about the football game, I expected it to end with Kai suffering a career-ending injury.

December 13th, 2024

Most of the party attendees lay into Drew for pursuing Willow, as if she wasn't a consenting adult who made the conscious choice to cheat on her husband. She cries and tries to turn things around on Michael for knowing about the affair for weeks and not saying anything, and possibly even playing the video intentionally. Carly definitely isn't going to let her get away with any of that kind of crap, and any affection she might have had left for Drew is totally gone. While everyone else is fighting, Nina pushes Willow to grab the kids and come stay with her, because she thinks Michael will try to get full custody. As they're leaving, Carly stops them. Josslyn wants to get in the middle of the Michael/Willow/Drew mess and support her brother, but Trina and Gio advise her to keep her distance. She goes to see Dex instead, arriving as Elizabeth and Isaiah are trying to revive him after his heart stop. Josslyn and Anna try to think happy thoughts and stay hopeful, but it looks like Cyrus has claimed another victim, because Dex is dead. Lulu almost gets arrested breaking into Wyndemere to look for anything Valentin and Charlotte might have left behind that could point her in their direction. She finds a box of Charlotte's things, but I don't think there's anything helpful in it. Mostly, she and Dante talk about Sam and how he's struggling to balance his grief over her with all his feelings about Lulu's return. He wants to keep Sam separate from everything Lulu's dealing with, and he thinks their priority should be finding Charlotte. Ric's credit cards also get declined, so Ava calls Lucas, the only person she knows who has money, will take her call, and doesn't have anything else going on. The three of them are confused about the sudden money issues until Ava gets an enlightening email: The Cassadines have revoked everything she got in her divorce from Nikolas. Tracy hopes that Monica will kick Drew out and she won't have to have anything more to do with him. She also plans to leak the video of him and Willow so his constituents can see what kind of man he is. Drew begs her not to, for Willow and Scout's sake, which just makes people think he's using them to protect himself. Olivia, however, agrees that Tracy needs to back off, and Tracy eventually says she will. Michael also has no plans to leak the video, but it's definitely not for Drew's benefit, and he doesn't appreciate how Drew is only now thinking about what's best for Willow. Trina is totally into Kai now and apologizes for being hard on him before. He appreciates it, though, and is totally into her, too. Sasha, Chase, and Brook discuss how Quartermaines have a history of infidelity, through Brook assures Chase that Cerullos don't, so he has nothing to worry about. Sasha and Chase mention that they're the reason Michael and Willow got together in the first place, which now seems like a mistake. Chase feels like Willow wasn't right for him, so the way things worked out is for the best, since now he's with the person he should be with.

"You know nothing about Willow and me." Dude, you slept with her. There's no disclaimer or explanation that will justify it. You're not going to make Michael go, "Oh, okay, now I get it; it's all reasonable." Shut up and take the L.

For once, I'm excited to see Carly keep yelling at people.

What websites is Drew letting Scout go on that he thinks might say something about him hooking up with Willow?

I swear, it's like they want to make the audience mad. Stop killing off the characters people like! Natalia's right there!

No offense to Emme Rylan but I think Alexa Havins Breuning is better suited to the role of Lulu than she was. She also looks like Julie Marie Berman at some angles.

I guess Dante's not going to tell Lulu about the house where Valentin and Charlotte lived, so she can't commit any more acts of breaking and entering.

Valentin is probably the only Cassadine who could have taken back Ava's divorce settlement, so that on top of the news that he just withdrew a bunch of money in Zurich means he must be planning something big.

How did Ric and Ava spend $679 on one meal? How many martinis did she order??

December 16th, 2024

Carly has no authority to keep Willow and Nina from taking Wiley and Amelia to Nina's, but she stalls them long enough for Michael to come home and get involved. He agrees to let them go, explaining to Carly that he and Morgan suffered when Sonny kept them from her, and he doesn't want his kids to go through the same thing. Michael also seems okay with going slightly easy on Drew, since anything too harsh would negatively affect Willow, Scout, Wiley, and Amelia, but Ned and Tracy are practically gleeful over the thought of dismantling his life. They don't consider him part of the family, and they make it clear that they and all the other Quartermaines are Team Michael. Ned and Tracy especially want to leak the footage of Drew and Willow hooking up, and though Michael doesn't feel the same, he's not going to stop them from doing what they want. Carly's too busy stonewalling Willow and Nina to answer calls from Anna, so Anna summons Jason to the hospital to help her through the news that Dex is dead. Josslyn is obviously heartbroken to have lost someone she loved so much, but she's also grateful for how much he changed her life and all the time they got together. Jason takes her to That Bridge and just listens while she talks about her feelings and vows to find out why Dex died. Elizabeth immediately calls Lucky to tell him that Dex seems to have died the same way Sam did, so they have something else to investigate. Lucky plays wingman while Portia informs Elizabeth that she'll have to stop having any contact with patients while she's under investigation for two mysterious deaths on her watch. Dante fully supports Lulu's search for Charlotte, but he cautions her not to do anything that could put her at risk (you know, like break into an empty house). Lulu finally gets to see Tracy, who's even happier to reunite with her than she is about the slow destruction of Drew's life, and that's saying a lot. Lulu confides that she's struggling to readjust, and not knowing where Charlotte is makes things much worse. Like Dante, Tracy warns her not to be so much like her father that she acts recklessly while trying to find her daughter. Anna, Mac, and Felicia try to puzzle out why Dex was stabbed, but since Felicia has apparently forgotten something she witnessed right before it happened, they don't get anywhere.

Michael was right to let Willow and Nina take the kids – if he hadn't, you know Nina would have tried to use that against him, twisting it to make it look like he wants to take the kids away from their mother. He's going to have to pick his battles, especially with Carly whispering in his ear.

"Drew has made your life a living nightmare." Yeah, St. Willow has no responsibility here. You're going to make things worse, Nina.

I guess Ned and Tracy didn't learn anything from the Esme/Josslyn/Cameron nightmare, because leaking the sex tape would be illegal.

Josslyn's final moments with Dex should have been private. I don't like that Jason was hovering.

Anna called Jason instead of, say, Trina? Whatever.

I like that instead of being offended or anything like that, Elizabeth expected to be investigated and didn't object to being told that she can't work with patients for a while. I think Portia eased her fears that there isn't really any suspicion about her; it's protocol and Portia's hands are tied.

I'm really happy that they're respecting that Lulu and Tracy had a close relationship in the past.

Not one of Anna, Mac, and Felicia has connected Cyrus to Dex's death? How are Lucky and Elizabeth five steps ahead of them on the fact that Sam and Dex's deaths are likely connected?

December 17th, 2024

Sasha makes an insignificant mistake with some eggs, leading Tracy to tear into her in what can best be described as a disproportionate response. Sasha responds by quitting, which ticks off Olivia, who's left alone to try to prepare the Feast of the Seven Fishes. Sasha goes to Sonny's church to light a candle for Liam, as it's the anniversary of his death. Sonny offers her some comfort and support, then says that he hopes she has the chance to have another child some day. When Maxie tells Tracy why Sasha's mind is somewhere else today, Tracy seeks Sasha out at the church and apologizes. Sasha appreciates it but makes it clear that she won't keep tolerating the way Tracy treats her. To Tracy's credit, she acknowledges that she needs to do better. When Sasha's finally alone, she prays for God to protect her and her unborn baby. She's going to need that protection starting now, because Sidwell has just arrived at the church. Ric invites himself to help Elizabeth with any legal repercussions she may face because of Sam and Dex's deaths. He thinks that Elizabeth should steer clear of the hospital instead of taking on admin duties while she's being investigated. He and Lucky snipe at each other while discussing the situation, and I'm surprised Elizabeth doesn't ask if she should get a ruler. Martin complains to Laura about his kidnapping, and she admits that Anna and Jason went a little overboard on her behalf. Martin thinks that they should ask Cyrus to reach out to one of his old "contacts" (AKA fellow criminals) to help locate Charlotte. Laura tells him about the Lulu-related trouble Cyrus has been causing and how she can't trust him again. Brook and Lulu run into each other, and within three minutes, they're bickering about the stuff they always bicker about. Dante tells Brook that she's a good person, but she needs to cut Lulu some slack because of everything she's going through. Maxie learns about the clash, and though one of the participants is her best friend, she can sympathize with Brook over having done something to Lulu that's pretty unforgivable. Brook confides that she thinks something's wrong since she and Chase haven't been able to conceive yet. Anna again hands the Charlotte search off to Jason, since she wants to devote her attention to finding Dex's attacker. Jason again cautions her not to blame herself for something bad that happened when she had no control over it. Spinelli lost Valentin's trail after he closed his bank account in Zurich, but he's determined to continue the search, partly because Lulu was the first friend he made in town. Jason vows to bring Charlotte back and make sure that Valentin never causes any trouble for Lulu again. Maxie gives Cody an invitation to spend Christmas with the Scorpios, but Cody doesn't want to have to face the awkwardness of being around Sasha. Maxie tells him to get over it already because both of them deserve to be with their newfound family. Sonny goes to Anna to preemptively tell her that he didn't kill Dex. She agrees that stabbing someone in the back months after their last antagonistic encounter isn't his style, and she suggests that Sonny owes Dex because Dex could have sent him to prison. Lulu discovers that Cody is a longtime friend of Dante's, and the two of them quickly become friends as well.

Not now, Sidwell!

Somewhere, Gregory is cheering because of how Tracy turned things around with Sasha. And I'm cheering because of how Sasha stood up for herself and demanded the respect she deserves.

I'm not surprised that Sonny remembered the date of Liam's death, but I'm (pleasantly) surprised that Maxie did. We really do need a Maxie/Sasha/Lulu/Brook power squad.

No one wants to sit through more of the Brook/Lulu nonsense. Cut it out.

Brook and Chase haven't been trying for months to get pregnant, unless by "months," Brook means two.

Anna, please don't pretend you were contributing in any way to the search for Charlotte.

Uh...am I crazy or was Lulu flirting with Cody?

December 18th, 2024

Michael sees a lot of possible negative outcomes if he and Curtis enact their plan to take down Drew, but Curtis is fully committed. After securing a signed document stating that Curtis will be Aurora's CEO for the next five years, he and Michael leak a draft of a financial statement that makes it look like Aurora's losing tons of money. The stock drops a bunch, and while Drew frets that his company is tanking, Michael starts buying up all the abandoned stock. Drew crashes a coat drive/food pantry/flu vaccine clinic Jordan organized so he can grab some time alone with Willow. Willow's fully focused on her kids and won't reciprocate Drew's feelings about the significance of their time together. Jordan breaks up their conversation by getting Felicia to find something for Willow to do so, because she's as sick of the two of them as everyone else is. Ava urges Nina to tell Willow about her own intimacies with Drew before she finds out from someone else. Nina is 100 percent anti-Drew now and just wants to wait things out until he leaves town and Willow can be free of him forever. She doesn't want Willow with Michael, either, and she tries to get the ball rolling on a divorce by retaining Martin. Martin warns that Willow will have an uphill battle if she wants custody of the kids, thanks to all the money and power the Quartermaines have. Cameron comes to town for an early Christmas before going to Florida with his new girlfriend. Lucky's surprised that Elizabeth is so okay with him wanting to spend Christmas somewhere other than home, but she's just happy that her son is happy. Jason tries to talk Carly out of doing anything to get revenge on Drew and Willow, but she's Carly, so it takes him a full hour. He finally gets her to see that she needs to put Micheal's needs ahead of her own, which means letting him decide how to handle things. Carly agrees but says she'll take a shot at Drew if she gets the chance. Josslyn and Trina basically reprise conversations they had back when Spencer died, only now in each other's shoes. Josslyn vows again to find answers about Dex's death and get justice for him. Jordan and Isaiah inch closer to a relationship and become more adorable with every passing minute.

Without their mothers trying to take control, I bet Michael and Willow would have everything sorted out and agreed to by New Year's Eve.

"We can't be seen together." Then stop agreeing to go off and talk to him! Get a backbone, Willow!

Jordan's face every time she looked at Drew is the only gift I need this Christmas.

I can't believe Ava's encouraging someone to tell, not keep, a secret.

Aww, Aiden got together with his crush.

December 19th, 2024

Drew is surprised at how calm Curtis is about Aurora's stock suddenly taking such a drastic drop. When he realizes that Curtis is behind it, Drew fires him. Curtis informs him that he can't do that, because Michael is now the majority shareholder and Curtis is the CEO. Drew is furious that Curtis screwed him over, as if he didn't screw Curtis over first. Curtis has no regrets about the way things played out or about losing a friend who hasn't exactly been friendly recently. Nina tells Willow that she has Martin working on getting her a legal separation and eventually getting custody of the kids. Willow is thinking more about Drew than she is Michael, as she's so sympathetic toward Drew for staying in a hotel and being alone on Christmas, she invited him and Scout to come over on Christmas Eve. Also, she thinks that he'll support her through whatever happens with Michael, even as the other Quartermaines rally behind Michael. Nina gently tells her that she shouldn't rely on Drew, and a judge won't like that she's choosing to spend time with the man she cheated on her husband with. Willow's like, "Please just be my mother right now," which is something Nina can't resist. Michael talks over his marital problems with Chase, the last person Willow cheated on. Chase notes that Michael and Willow continually keep secrets from each other instead of sharing the sorts of things that spouses should share. He thinks Willow's past makes it difficult for her to trust people, and that she gravitates toward Drew because he's so open. Michael wants to work things out and stay together, though Drew is pretty much dead to him. To his surprise, Martin serves him with separation papers. Jordan and Isaiah get stuck in a steam room together, because I guess the writers think they need help getting closer to developing a relationship, as if they're not doing just fine there on their own. Josslyn runs into Cameron, who has the unenviable task of having to express compassion over the death of the guy who stole his girlfriend. Josslyn has the equally unenviable task of having to see her ex happy with his new girlfriend. Exactly 24 hours after Dex's death (which Josslyn set an alarm for on her phone, for some reason), it starts snowing and she has a vision of him. Jason and Sasha are mainly filler, just talking about family stuff. Then Jason has a run-in with Tracy, who complains that he's suddenly reaping the benefits of being a Quartermaine after decades of distancing himself from them. That said, when compared to Drew, who took on the family name without deserving it, Tracy thinks Jason is more a part of the family. Tracy also picks a fight with Martin when he comes by to see Michael, and let's just say that if you like the enemies-to-lovers trope, you might want to stay tuned. Brook and Gio...whatever.

Curtis needs to stop being so confident that he'll be the CEO for five years. The way things have been going lately on the show, he might not live that long. Don't jinx yourself, Curtis!

If Drew's spending Christmas alone, it's because he chose to. Nothing's stopping him from taking Scout to his hotel.

Ric is going to be upset that Nina didn't hire him to represent Willow so he could go after another of Sonny's kids.

I don't get how Michael can forgive Willow (or can see himself doing so in the future) but not Drew. Enough of this "Drew seduced Willow" stuff. That makes it sound like she had no control. She made the same decisions Drew did. They are equally culpable.

Speaking of which: Chase, don't defend Willow. I don't care if her past makes it hard for her to trust people. That's not an excuse for infidelity.

A lawyer can file separation papers without consulting either of the parties? Really?

So how long until Martin and Tracy make out?

How, exactly, does Tracy think Jason feels entitled to things at the mansion? He wasn't even going to have Sasha wash his dishes! I guarantee that the only thing Jason is using in that entire house that he didn't bring with him is a bed.

If Gio is Brook's son, it's time for that to come out. He's been on for seven months and he hasn't done a single memorable thing.

December 20th, 2024

Nina can't stand to have Drew at her place for Christmas Eve, so she summons Ava and Ric to hang out. Things only get worse when Ava tells Nina not to drink, in case she loses her inhibitions, tells Drew what she thinks of him, and alienates Willow. Willow learns that Michael stole Aurora from Drew and starts to think she doesn't know him as well as she thought. Also, she calls Nina "Mom." The majority of the Corinthos contingent gathers at Carly's, at various stages of grieving deaths and relationships. Sonny's apparently the last to find out that Michael and Willow have separated, and of course, he puts all the blame on Drew. Michael feels like he's not the good person everyone thinks he is because he stole Drew's company from him, but Sonny's pretty proud. Brennan and Carly call a truce, and then she takes pity on him and invites him over, which means he'll be spending Christmas Eve with a man he once tried to have killed. Cody plans to skip Christmas Eve with the Scorpios because he thinks being in the same place as Sasha will be too hard. James is sad to hear that, so Felicia calls Sasha and asks if it would be okay if she invited Cody again. Sasha's more than okay with it and works on getting Cody to change his mind, since he deserves to be with his family as much as she does. She's able to guilt him into showing up by pointing out that Mac and James want him there. Alexis is facing a lonely Christmas since one daughter is gone and the other two won't be in the same room as each other. Diane invites her to tag along on her vacation, but Alexis wants to be there for Molly. Diane suggests that she suck it up and make peace with Ric so they can both spend Christmas with Molly. Alexis refuses at first, then takes one for the team and calls Ric (inadvertently doing the audience the favor of interrupting just as he's about to kiss Ava). Marshall comes back to town for the Ashfords' Christmas Eve dinner, during which Curtis announces that he's the new CEO of Aurora. He starts feeling a little bad about the way things worked out, especially since he's lost Drew as a friend, but I don't think he's going to dwell on that for too long. Laura's looking forward to spending the holidays with the children she hasn't seen in a while, but Anna would like to keep her distance, since it would be a little weird to face Lulu after shooting her daughter. Laura tells her that Lulu isn't aware of that yet, but she's sure that Lulu will forgive Anna like everyone else has. Trina is now in that totally relatable awkward-because-she-has-a-crush stage with Kai.

Michael is just going to love learning that Drew is spending Christmas Eve with his kids. And Jason is going to love learning that Carly is spending it with Brennan.

Drew wouldn't say that it's nice to see Ric after the whole Ric/Hayden/Drew mess.

Can't believe it's been almost two months since Drew and Willow slept together and she's not pregnant. What kind of a soap is this?

"I finally have an uncle." Actually, James, you had another uncle until a few years ago. His name was Peter and we do not speak about him.

December 23rd, 2024

Lulu's so focused on finding Charlotte that Tracy has to remind her that she has another child and she needs to, like, spend time with him and stuff. She goes to the Christmas tree lighting and spends a few minutes with Rocco, Lucky, and Laura, who are all happy to have her back for the holiday. Rocco gets a text and sends the texter a picture of Dante and Lulu. He immediately gets a call from Charlotte, who's thrilled to confirm that Lulu's awake. She tells Lulu where she is, and Lulu makes plans to go see her, swearing Rocco to secrecy about everything. Brennan's presence at Carly's makes thing awkward even before Jason comes over. Sonny tells Kristina he's going to stay out of it, but Jason definitely didn't make that promise. A woman at the Christmas tree lighting calls Gio by a different name and slips him a wallet. She explains that she saw a guy ripping off a vendor and wants to teach him a lesson. She pockets the money and turns the wallet in to the police, pretending she found it. Gio's smitten, but the woman disappears before he can point her out to Sonny and Kristina. She then turns up at Maxie's, because she's Anna's big surprise for the Scorpio clan: Emma. Ric agrees to cooperate with Alexis to give Molly a good Christmas, though that mostly involves them decorating together and trying very hard not to become violent. In the end, it's worth it, as Molly really appreciates their efforts. Someone hang some mistletoe, because Jordan and Isaiah really need to kiss. Also, T.J. had to cancel his plans with Jordan to work, but Isaiah insists on covering for him so he can be with his mother on Christmas Eve, and how could you not love that? Everyone at Maxie's house has a good time, proving that Sasha and Cody can be in the same place at the same time without ruining everyone's fun. Sasha worries that she won't get a chance to get to know Robert, but Anna assures her that she will. Brook complains to Chase about Lulu and how she always has to be the center of attention. Chase is like, "Lulu, the woman who just woke up from a coma, found out her entire life had changed, and doesn't know where her daughter is? That Lulu?" Instead of banishing Chase to the couch for admitting to having a little crush on Lulu when he first came to town, Brook agrees that she should probably chill out a little. Ned is surprisingly happy to have Jason back at the Quartermaines', though probably not as happy as he and Tracy are that Drew has been knocked down. Ned and Lois look forward to more happiness in 2025, hopefully in the form of a grandchild. Ned says it'll be his first, but Lois' face says it won't, and for the love of all things holy, just pull the trigger on this plot already.

The fact that Lulu got to connect with Charlotte because she texted Rocco is...I don't usually get mushy, but that makes me a little mushy. She's not supposed to call or text anyone, but she got in touch with her brother. That's so sweet!

If Ric and Alexis were other people, I would think this was a prelude to them getting back together, but I can't see her going down that road again.

Maybe Gio will be interesting with a love interest. I won't hold my breath, though.

Ned: "You're probably wondering what I'm doing." Jason, internally: "I most definitely am not."

December 26th, 2024

Lulu immediately heads to the airport to catch a flight to Prague to see Charlotte. Colette follows her with instructions to handle Valentin. Dante and Laura realize that Lulu has taken off and wonder how she knows where to go. Rocco spills that Charlotte contacted him and Lulu made him promise not to tell anyone. Dante races off to either stop Lulu from going off alone or tag along in case she wanders into danger. He arrives too late to do either, so at least Rocco won't have to spend Christmas alone. Lucas crashes Nina's get-together to blast Willow for taking Michael's kids away from him. He seems to think he gets a say because he was Wiley's father when he was little, but no one appreciates his input. Willow believes he's comparing her to Nelle and kicks him out. Nina thinks this is another reason for Willow to ensure she gets custody of the kids, because everyone's going to paint her as the villain. Nina and Drew both vow to support Willow as she takes on the Quartermaines, Corinthoses, and whoever else might get involved. Meanwhile, Ava tells Lucas that Willow's only acting the way she is because of Drew. Michael and Jason feel the same, discussing how Willow wants a hero and sees Drew as one even though he's really not. Michael tells Jason that he wants to stay with Willow, but if she wants to be with Drew, he might just let her go. Jason urges him to fight for what he wants. Michael decides to focus his efforts on the kids instead of his marriage – if Willow chooses Drew over him, he won't let her take his kids. Emma surprises everyone by announcing that she's left her prestigious internship and is going to attend PCU. Anna, Felicia, and Maxie quickly realize that she's trying to avoid answering any questions about her life, and it should be equally obvious to them that she's trying to keep them from calling Robin and mentioning where she is. Jason remains skeptical of Brennan, as he should, but Carly seems smitten, especially as he's friendly with Josslyn and helps her take her mind off of Dex. Josslyn expresses uncertainty about her future career, now unsure that she can make a difference in the world, and Brennan tries to convince her that everyone plays a part and can do good for at least a few other people. Brook thinks she might be pregnant, so she gives Chase a pregnancy test as a Christmas present, but it's negative. He thinks they should relax a little and stop putting so much pressure on themselves to conceive. Also, he's really excited to have his first child, which will also be Brook's first child, because there's no way she's keeping any secrets about having had a baby in the past and not telling anyone, ha ha ha, what a ridiculous idea! Kristina's pleased with how nice her Christmas has been, since she was dreading it after suffering so much loss. She credits Sonny with helping her through it.

Sorry you don't get the Christmas you wanted, Rocco. Mommy's busy making bad decisions.

What does Dante think is going to happen to Lulu if he doesn't go with her? It's not like Valentin is going to kill her.

Instead of having an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, Willow has two devils.

I hate to disagree with Lucas, but...come on, dude. You look crazy.

"Don't you use my sister's death to justify sleeping with our nephew's wife." How did Van Hansis deliver that line with a straight face?

I'm excited to see how they've inevitably made Emma completely different from how she used to be.

December 27th, 2024

Lulu finally reunites with Charlotte, who's happy that she's awake but not happy enough to ditch Valentin and go home with her mother. Instead of playing the you're-a-minor-and-you-don't-have-a-say-in-the-matter card, Lulu backs down, then places what I think is a tracking device in her things. Back in Port Charles, Jason tells Anna that Lulu's on her way to see Charlotte (and apparently Dante is right behind her). Anna freaks out about the fact that she's going to lead Valentin's enemies right to him. The bigger problem right now is that Valentin has caught Charlotte and Lulu together, and he's ticked. Michael fills Diane in on his marital issues and ensuing custody battle. They both suspect that Nina is behind the separation papers and is pushing Willow to try to get the kids. Michael would like to keep his family together, but if that's not possible, he just wants his kids to have both their parents in their lives. Diane agrees to represent him, but she wants him to tell her everything she might need to know before they get started. Michael decides he needs to consult Sasha first. Anna busts Emma for getting expelled from Berkeley for a party that went out of control, keeping that from her parents for two months, and not telling them her plans to transfer to PCU. Anna declares that Emma will live with her and behave, and if her grades aren't impeccable, she'll be sent back to California. Jason promises to help Josslyn find out who attacked Dex, if that's what she'll need to move on. Josslyn asks Brennan if WSB surveillance might have footage of Dex's stabbing. He says the footage is erased every 48 hours, but later he calls someone and tells them to pull it. Martin informs Laura and Alexis that Ace has been named the new heir of the Cassadine estate, and Alexis has been named his trustee. Laura and Alexis would rather liquefy all the assets and donate them than risk the fortune doing to Ace what it did to Nikolas and Spencer. That's not possible until Ace comes of age and makes the decision to do that himself, so until then, Alexis gets to look after everything. When she learns that "everything" includes Wyndemere, which the Cassadines own again, she's thrilled at the idea of Ava losing out on the profits from the sale. Trina catches Kai hiding out during a boosters event, since he's an introvert and can't take being social for too long. When someone tries to drag him back to the event, she helps him escape. Sasha tells Maxie that she's leaving town, which is ridiculous because she keeps talking about how much she's looking forward to getting to know her new family, and how does she plan to do that when she's not in Port Charles? Emma and Josslyn are equally annoyed at seeing each other again (but fake friendly), so that rivalry from their childhood hasn't been resolved.

Michael may be the first soap character to enter a custody battle not wanting sole custody.

I hope Diane uses the fact that Willow fled with the kids against her.

I also hope that Mac teases Anna about how she's basically parenting a stubborn teenager now, since he was the one who had to parent her stubborn teen 30 years ago.

No way did Emma enroll at PCU without her parents knowing. Where'd she get the money for tuition? That said, a party that got out of control doesn't seem like something a student would be expelled for (unless there's more to the story). I can see Emma getting kicked out of the dorms, but not school altogether.

Emma and Josslyn have basically swapped personalities from when they were kids. Josslyn's the sweet one and Emma's the sassy one.

Like Sasha can afford a house in the Hamptons.

December 30th, 2024

Valentin won't even entertain the idea of letting Lulu take Charlotte back to Port Charles, even though this means keeping his daughter on the run and away from her mother. When Lulu argues that Charlotte isn't safe with him, he tells her about her near-fatal run-in with Anna. He also notes that he's the only parent who has been in Charlotte's entire life, as if it isn't his fault that she didn't meet Lulu until she was older. When Dante arrives, Valentin accuses Lulu of setting him up and siccing the police on him. Dante assures him that he's there on his own, but Valentin is right that Dante could have led someone to him, because there's a sniper outside. Elizabeth is supposed to attend a record review about Sam and Dex's cases, but after Dex's autopsy shows that he was also given a fatal amount of digitalis, a lawyer is brought in. Elizabeth quickly clams up, uncomfortable saying anything without her own lawyer present. Ric shows up and rushes her off, but not before they learn that Elizabeth had a third patient who died of sudden heart failure back in August. If her family agrees to have her body exhumed and autopsied, Elizabeth could be in real trouble. Kristina and Lucas agree that Willow has made horrible decisions, Michael deserves better, and Drew has a punchable face. They disagree about Ava, of course, but Kristina at least acts like she might see another side to her rival after hearing how Ava has helped Lucas recently. Her interest is really piqued when Lucas mentions that Ava's having money trouble. Alexis shares the same news with Sonny, suggesting that Ava might not be able to afford a long, drawn-out custody fight. She then asks Sonny not to give Charlie's to Kristina, since the FBI could suspect that it's being used to launder money. Sonny eases her mind and she backs down. Later, Sonny has chest pain while alone at the gym. Isaiah informs Lucky that the review at the hospital isn't as routine as he and Elizabeth have been led to believe, but he thinks they should cooperate with the process, because it'll turn up more information. If Lucky wants to leave town, Elizabeth will be fine without him. Lucky calls Isaiah out for using reverse psychology on him and says he's not going anywhere until everything's worked out. To show he's serious, he asks Kristina to hire him as the bartender at Charlie's. Ava turns to Laura for help getting back the money the Cassadine estate took from her. Laura tells her it's all going to Ace in the future, but for now, it's under Alexis' control. So...yeah, Ava's definitely not getting her hands on anything. Trina takes Kai to an art gallery, but he spends more time looking at her than at the paintings.

It took less than an episode for me to despise Valentin as much as I always have. Shut up, Valentin.

Sonny needing medical attention could save Elizabeth's job. If Cyrus goes after him next, while Elizabeth's not working, someone could figure out that something else is going on here.

Elizabeth was right to walk out of that meeting. If your job is on the line and the other side brings in a lawyer, you don't say anything without your own lawyer present. Diane would be proud.

I doubt that Ava not having any money will affect the custody case. Ric will probably keep representing her pro bono just to mess with Sonny.

Lucky's staying in town for Elizabeth, but not Aiden. Ugh.
