This was...fine. Not as funny as I expected. It just fell flat for me.
This was not a "complex whodunit." It was a boring bore, and I didn't really care whodunit.
I'm starting to think that I would enjoy anything written by Belc. Hey, Krys, write some more so I can test my theory.
I loved reading another story about the characters from Hallett's first novel. This one was much less complicated, and I didn't feel like I was drowning in details like in The Appeal. I really hope Hallett writes more with these characters in the future.
I really like Bannister's writing, and I enjoyed the story for the most part, but...all of the characters were annoying. I didn't really care who died. That's a problem, right?
