This was me for pretty much the whole book.
I tried this a couple of years ago and just couldn't get into it. I must have been in a weird mood, because I really liked it. I'll definitely read the sequels.
The first half of this was so painfully slow that I almost gave up on it. The second half was much better and included some great twists. Hanks needs more work, but she could be an excellent writer some day.
I loved this. I have only one complaint: Molly is too much of a manic pixie dream girl. But compared to how much I enjoyed this, it's a minor squabble that I'm willing to overlook.
Alison Leiby and I would be friends if we met. I just know it.
This was a good ride. It was paced well, and Penelope made me care about the characters. I'd love to read a sequel.
